A few days had passed since the visit from Athena, and ever since she had come around, she had noticed an influx of demigod customers. As in, it went from an average of ten visiting a day, to pretty much half the camp visiting every day.
Wanda had no idea what the woman had said in regards to her store and what she had done to make them all come to her store, but she wasn't going to complain. As they were not only buying tons of books and bakery goods, but they were also bringing in several new books that she would trade for, AND they were giving Naruto and Milim a new source of entertainment.
Basically, Wanda was pleased with the fact that her children were gaining some new friends. With Naruto finding the Apollo and Hermes demigods to be fun to talk with, and Milim was fond of the Ares demigods. They were the most in tune with her, and she was interested in meeting more of them.
At the same time, Wanda had been interested in meeting some of the other Gods, more specifically Hephaestus and Hestia. But she would have to speak with Athena herself about talking with them.
With Wanda now having the blood of a divine being, it was not going to be difficult for her to become an actual God herself, but she decided against doing so until she connected to some of the other forces of the DC multiverse. The ones that she wished to connect to were: The Sage Force, The Life Force, The Green, The Red, The Clear, and The Black.
There was also the Life Equation and the Anti-Life Equation. She already technically knew the latter thanks to reading the comics, and she also knew how to obtain the former, so eventually she would.
The latter was mostly because she didn't really want Darkseid to obtain that thing, even if it more than likely wouldn't affect her, it would still be problematic. That, and if she was right, it would massively boost her overall power and might just mesh well with her other powers.
But that would be for the future, as right now, she was in a city she had yet to actually visit properly. The city of...
Originally she planned on messing with the team, but she decided that that was kind of boring. So, instead, she decided to mess with Supes himself! It could be fun, and she was sure her son would get a kick out of pranking one of the strongest men in the entire universe.
She also couldn't help but wonder if Mr Mxyzptlk would notice that she was pranking his favorite hero, the one that he seemed to think only he could mess with. If so, she had to admit that fighting it out with a dimensional imp and absorbing his power could be nice, as she was confident that she could beat him.
He wasn't remotely in the level of Lucifer, afterall.
Either way, she was walking through the streets of Metropolis at the moment, her children walking in front of her looking around the bustling city. A city that was far far far nicer than Gotham, and not nearly as dreary. But, it also had much bigger threats that tended to appear, like alien invasions and city destroying creatures and villains.
Whereas Gotham was just a shit hole that tended to have a lot of smaller foes that just kept coming back over and over again.
She still preferred Metropolis for shopping at least.
"Wow, this place is WAY nicer than Gotham!" Naruto exclaimed as he looked around at the large skyscrapers that were spread throughout the giant city.
"It certainly is, isn't it?" Wanda agreed, as she walked with them, amused with their attention to the surroundings of the city.
"How come Gotham is so awful compared to here, Mama?" Milim couldn't help but ask, truly curious what the difference between the two of them were.
"That's because Gotham is cursed, hon. A dark curse that has been afflicting the city for a long long time. And it is because of this curse that it remains the worst city in the world to live in. And it will continue to remain like that, until the curse is lifted" Wanda explained, as both of them looked at her in slight surprise.
"Are you going to get rid of the curse, Mama?" Naruto asked, as Wanda paused.
"Hmmm...we'll see, Naruto. The curse may be bad, but it has been placed there by some very powerful entities of a dark place, and while I can certainly defeat them, our battle would shake the very multiverse and might cause some problems. So it will be better to leave it be until I get a bit stronger" Wanda explained, remembering that the dark multiverse was involved in the curse.
More specifically Barbatos, a powerful entity from that place.
'I'm pretty confident in defeating the Batman Who Laughs, should he ever rear his ugly mug, but it would likely cause some serious problems for the greater multiverse' Wanda thought, knowing that he became a multiversal entity at his peak.
Not to mention Perpetua, who could be annoying. Not a threat, but annoying. It'd take Lucifer himself for her to really be worried about anything like that.
'Eh, I'll deal with him if it need be' Wanda thought, inwardly shrugging as it really wasn't a big deal to her.
"Mmkay, can we go prank Superman now?" Naruto asked, deciding he was done talking about the curse and now wanted to mess with Superman for a little while.
Wanda smirked at the question, before responding.

At the moment Clark Kent, aka Superman was flying through the skies of the city of Metropolis, listening in to see if there was anything or anyone for him to deal with. But he found that it had been a quiet day for the most part...until now. Follow current novᴇls on 𝖓𝖔𝖛𝖊𝖑~𝖋𝖎𝖗𝖾~𝖓𝖊𝖙
The sound of a gunshot echoed into his ears as he turned to the right, taking off in a boom as he reappeared a moment later, landing on the ground with a small crack echoing out as he looked around.
He was in an abandoned warehouse, with the roof above being destroyed a long time ago in a rather nasty fire that destroyed the roof and parts of the walls.
Looking around, he activated his x-ray vision and yelled "Hello! Anyone there?"
Looking around, he began to frown as he found absolute nothing, which was confusing as he knew for a fact that the gunshot came from here. He could see the bullet on the ground in the distance, and even see some residue from where it hit.
Taking a step to look at the bullet more in depth, his eyes widened as a glow formed under him, causing him to blur to the side, as a large pink explosion appeared from where he had stood moments before.
Another explosion soon rocked the area that he was standing on, which he once again dodged, this time it was bright yellow. He looked at them with surprise as he continued to dodge more and more, as he realized that they were...some sort of paint bomb?
Not only that, but they absolutely reeked.
'...Are these smoke bombs mixed with stink bombs?' Clark thought, realizing what these things might be as he continued to dodge. He couldn't even see how many there were, but he assumed that there had to be a limited amount.
So instead, he decided to focus on the bullet while dodging, as he reappeared in front of it, lifting it into his hand and looking it over.
Flipping the bullet onto the side, he blinked as it had words engraved into it, and those words were...
Clark couldn't even contemplate what that meant, when the bullet exploded in his hand, his form being coated in a rainbow myriad of colors, and a cough escaping him, as he looked down at his suit.
Not only was he covered in a rainbow coloring of paint, he also now smelled awful, thanks to the stink bomb.
Trying to shake off the pain through pure speed, he groaned when he realized that the paint wasn't coming out, and was resisting the speed he was moving at. Meaning...he had definitely just gotten pranked. And by someone who had prepared for him.
With that realization in mind, Clark had only one thing to say, as giggles of a woman and her children echoed far off into the distance, and that was...
"Man...I just cleaned this suit"
