It's 12:00 in the midnight the phone keeps on ringing, She is wondering who will call at this moment of time, she slowly gets up on her bed and pick up the phone.
"Hello?" She yawn when she answered the phone.
"Yes, I am Sergeant Herrera's wife."
She almost screams when she heard what was said on the other line. Her body shiver and her hands are shaking, she almost hung up the phone. She couldn't understand what the person on the other line is saying.
At that moment she just sat on the floor and the tears just kept flowing. The whole room almost shook because of the loudness of her shouting. She cried in burst, she couldn't believe from what she heard, She couldn't believe that all of her fears will be happening.
Her beloved man is now gone, the man she talked a while ago says that Sergeant Herrera and the rest has been ambushed by the terrorists. She doesn't know if she will believe from what she heard.
Only yesterday her husband was in front of her and he promised to Comeback but why do they say that her beloved man has no life at all, She couldn't believe this, maybe it was just a dream.
The sun was high but he still remained sitting in her room and just looking away, her tears were still flowing that she could hardly stop.
She heard the car engine that stops in the front of their home, she stands on her seat and look who was that, She is hoping that it's Sergeant Herrera that will surprise her that all the news she heard last night was just a dream only a bad dream.
She sees the Commander is getting off the car she suddenly walks outside of the room to open the door and the Commander was surprised that all of the sudden Chyrill was in front of him.
"Tell me, its not true Commander."
"Let me come inside, I will tell you everything."
She let's the Commander to come inside the house, her body felts cold and her hands are shaking, she wanted to cry but she is trying to be calm.
She remembered those days when Sergeant Herrera was captived by the terrorists this is how the Commander approached her, so silent and his eyes are trying to avoid looking at her, but, right now she noticed something strange, his eyes are dull and lonely.
"Please sit Madam." The Commander said to her.
"Don't take it too long Commander, I want to know what happen? Is this all a joke?
" Mrs. Herrera, I'm sorry to tell you that your husband, Sergeant Herrera has been killed in ambushed time 17:00 at the Mount of Nanga Parbat. "
Her world seemed to collapse when she heard what the Commander said to her. She was held in her womb and think about the child she is carrying now.
For the second time she was left behind by the man she loves it most, She couldn't understand why it should happen to her, to her son? Why the world is being so cruel to her, to them with Sergeant Herrera?
"The Government of Arland is giving you a privilige to ask a request and the President of Arland will grant it."
"Huh, Really? You will grant my request? She said in sarcastic tone of voice.
" Yes, Mrs. Herrera. "
" Bring him back alive to me... That is what I want? "
The Commander was shocked from what she said he never know that Chyrill would said these things. "
" Why? You can't do that? You said you will do anything... You will grant my request.... Then Why you can't do that now?
" That's too impossible to do and you know that."
She cries and laugh loudly she is going to get crazy, she can't accept of all the things happening right now. It hurts like hell she wanted to scream she wanted to vanish all the hurts that she feels right now but she doesn't know how?
She felt she also died on the day Sergeant Herrera's funeral, there's no more tears to cry at this time she buried her tears and pain she will know that time pass by that her heart will free from the pain.
She needs to move on and live a life with her son and she knew that her beloved Sergeant Herrera wanted this way too. She would just cherish the day she was with him the Days with his beloved man. The Days with his Sergeant.
