*Three months later*
"Please! hurry, the babies are coming!" Giovanni panicked as he watched the midwives take Ingrid into the birthing room. Ingrid made Giovanni promise that when her time to give birth had come, he would make sure that was the place where she was taken. Being a mother-to-be of twins, Ingrid preferred to be in a place where she could labour, deliver and recover without being moved. She also wanted to get the privilege of staying with her babies most of the time instead of them being moved in the infant nursery.
Ingrid was in excruciating pain, Giovanni held her hand as he watched her battling the pain. Her first labour was greatly painful indeed, luckily she only had to go through it once. She squeezed Giovanni's hand tighter every time the midwife told her to push. When the first baby was delivered, the midwife yelled, "It's a boy!"
Ingrid and Giovanni asked the doctor to keep the sexes of the baby a secret during the times that they went for an ultrasound together. So when the nurse yelled this good news, Giovanni jumped in great joy, "We're having sons!" he yelled.
The nurse did a quick ultrasound to make sure that the second baby was in a good position. "This won't be hard but you still have to push, okay ma'am?" she said. Ingrid nodded and clenched her husband's hand. Giovanni was too busy looking in the direction of the midwife that was cleaning up the first twin.
Ingrid squeezed his hand tighter, he heard a baby crying, "My son," Giovanni whispered, "It's a girl!" the midwife yelled. Giovanni looked at Ingrid in shock, "I never expected that we could have both sexes," Ingrid said as she held Giovanni's hand. "We did it, my love."
After the babies were cleaned, the midwives gave the baby girl to Giovanni and the baby boy to Ingrid so that they could be bottle fed."Did you decide what names you wanted to give them my love?" Giovanni asked.
"Yes, Logan and Lilly, the names of my beloved parents," Ingrid said. Giovanni gave her a kiss on the forehead. "That is wonderful, my love."

Ingrid and Giovanni finally got home with their babies. Giovanni's mother and his sister, Donny, had offered to come through and help take care of the babies. They brought so many clothes and toys for them and were a big help when Ingrid wanted to have some rest.
"So, do you still find me sexy after giving birth?" Ingrid asked. "Still more than anything my love, besides, that baby fat is in the right places," Giovanni said and chuckled a little. Giovanni laid on the side and started to kiss Ingrid. "I'm glad that we have officially started our own family," Ingrid said. "Oh yeah? Well, my love, just don't get jealous when the kids love me more than you," he laughed.
"How charming of you to think that way, Babe. Oh, don't laugh too loud, you'll wake the babies,” she chuckled softly. "Want to make another one?" Giovanni smashed his lips into hers and pulled her body closer to his.
