"Your status is overflowing and Curse-smith has gone up to F grade." Hestia told me as I laid on my belly within the healing coffin I had made for my previous level up.
I had already set up the isolation barrier to keep the sea of cursed energy overhead from reacting to this little event of mine. To my surprise I didn't actually feel all that bloated despite my vessel being at it's limit. I briefly pondered this strangeness but after a moment it became quite obvious, I had adapted. The previous two times I had leveled up with limit stats my vessel struggled though considerably less so the second time. -
This time however my vessel was able to just barely tolerate the extreme amount of power it held so I wasn't in a massive hurry to speed through the level up process.
"Level me up!" I said firmly and Hestia hesitated for a moment before doing so.
"WHAT!?" she exclaimed in shock as I felt my existence shift drastically.
"What do you mean what?" I asked confused.
"You...you leveled up, twice." She said with a clear amount of shock.
"What!? How!?" I demanded in surprise.
"It looks like it was a compounding effect from the domain expansion, barrier and Bell's new blades. You have Mystery, Luck, Hammerman, Axeman, Fallen and Rex for your developmental skills, choose two. You need to see all this for yourself, I'm at a loss to explain it all." she said with a distraught and confused tone.
"Mystery is a definite grab but what the fuck are Fallen and Rex?" I asked confused.
"I don't know for sure but Fallen seems to have something to do with another change to your status and Rex is one I have never even heard of before." she said honestly.

I felt the changes roll through my existence as she finished the process of my level up with this choice and the glow that came from leveling up faded as my new status began to solidify in me. She put a preprepared sheet of paper on my back over my falna and copied the status to it before getting off of me and letting me turn over in the coffin so I could receive the paper to read.-

Hell fire(Subsidiary technique): Flames created originally from an extension of the Hell's Forge cursed technique but expanded into a cursed technique all their own that contain the tiniest spark of true hellflame.(Incantation: Hell fire)(Reversion: Helheim)(Domain expansion: Hell's Forge)
Sin of Pride: Through pride all things great and small, good or evil can be accomplished. Beware however that ones pride does not outstrip their means lest they fall to sin.(Incantation: Peccatum Superbiae)(Reversion: Peccatum Inertiae)(Domain expansion: Hell's Forge)
Skills: Heavenly restriction: In exchange for the ability to wield mana and magic one gains access to cursed energy and cursed techniques.
Blessing of black: Permanently increases cursed energy efficiency, amount and control. Magic will always start at G rank after leveling up.
Reverse cursed technique: Grants access to positive cursed energy and reversion techniques.
First of the fallen: The first of the Fallen that rules the forge of Hell and purifies the sins of all souls that pass through his domain. Greatly strengthens soul over time. Large permanent increase to crafting with cursed energy. Large permanent decrease to all stats for each innocent soul killed and increase for each sinful soul killed. Grants skill: Soul gaze.
Soul gaze: See the souls of all things and their sins.
Developmental Skills: Curse-smith(E), Cursebody(G), Mystery(I), Rex(I)
"What the fuck happened!?" I exclaimed with wide eyes as I read the status paper.
The first change to note was that my race had changed yet again but this time into something I was totally unfamiliar with. I wasn't sure what exactly it meant to be a "Fallen" but if we were going off of the Abrahamic religion it was in reference to the angels that fell after Lucifer's rebellion against god. Being called a Fallen angel was definitely not a good thing usually but I had to admit that the violent urges that usually gnawed on the edges of my mind were surprisingly absent. I was fairly certain this had to do with my race but it could be something else.-
For example the second BIG fucking change in my status, my third and final spell. With a name like "sin of Pride" it would not be surprising if the cursed technique passively canceled the negative aspects of being a cursed energy based entity. As for what it actually did I wasn't entirely sure but the RCT of it gave me a clue since the incantation of it was roughly translated as "Sin of Sloth". If it worked the way I assumed it did based on that name then the normal version of the curse technique was a buffing one while the RCT was a debuffing one.-
The third change was that my "vessel of sin" Skill had changed to "First of the Fallen" and even it's description had changed considerably. The essence of being Hell's forgemaster remained but I had apparently been promoted to the ruler of Hell's forge instead of just the one who works it. A small difference but an important one apparently as even of the bonuses the skill gave me were improved with the addition of the word "large" or "greatly". On the downside it also probably meant that the backlash from killing anyone with an "innocent" soul was going to be so much fucking worse now.-
The final change was a two parter as both Curse-smith and Cursebody had gone up yet again with the first now sitting pretty at E grade and the latter at G. For the first of those skills that meant my ability to make stuff had just jumped two massive steps and brought me closer to true divinity in that domain. For Cursebody though it was the same as usual as far as I could tell as my body was now even more attuned to cursed energy and thus much more efficient at utilizing it.-
As for my two new DS I already knew what Mystery was about and was positively giddy at the thought of what sort of ridiculous things I could use it to do. Rex however was as Hestia said a new one and would need some exploring to figure out. That said I did have an idea what it might be referencing. If I wasn't wrong it was a sort of nod to how I was a freakish existence for my level much like actual monster rexes. It could also be mentioning how I had challenged monster rexes solo multiple times by now, hard to say for sure.
