However, Jaran was a little dissapointed that Julian had disregarded his warnings.
But his emotions turned to dissapointed as he saw the scene that transpired in the next moment.
"ARRGGHH!!" Julian screamed out in pain, his body writhing in agony.
Although his strength couldn’t compare to Julian’s, Jaran admitted that Julian surpassed him in speed.
Among the new generation of the Windcrest Clan, he was the fastest. No one could literally see his sword until he struck.
That was why he had planned for Julian to mock Ezekiel and intimidate him into fighting him first, even if Ezekiel accepted or refused his duel.
However, they hadn’t known that they were dealing with a madman, so the plan went smoother than they had expected.
Despite this advantage, Julian had lost more miserably than he had previously.
Jaran was startled by the scene and found it hard to believe what he was seeing.

She stood slightly to the side of the area where Julian had collapsed, taking her position opposite Ezekiel.
As the wielder of the Dove Hurricane Red Sword, a sister sword to the Dove Sealing and Dove Whispering Swords, Kealis’ strength was comparable to his and Julian’s.
If his forte was his strength, and Julian relied on his speed, then Kaelis was a combination of both, and with the Dove Hurricane Red Sword, she was even more fierce.

Kaelis drew his sword and nodded.
The Worst One nodded as well.
"Begin!" Elric announced.
Instantly, Kaelis unleashed her aura, enveloping her entire form with a crimson glow.

She didn’t waste time exchanging words with Julian.
The moment she was a step away from Ezekiel, she swung her sword forward rapidly.
A flaming wind arc surged at him.
The Worst One easily dodged the strike.
Kaelis swung her blade again.
Two flaming arcs surged forward.
The Worst One narrowly dodged the attack.
Before he could react, Kaelis arrived before him.
Jaran kept his eyes peeled, analysing every moment of the battle.
Just as he thought that Kaelis was gaining an edge, she was slowly being pushed back.
The Worst One was gaining the upper hand.
As they began to clash more and more, Jaran discovered that, unlike Kaelis, none of the Worst One’s strikes were as heavy as Kaelis yet he was able to deflect and counter hers.
It was as though he were an unshakable mountain that was unmoved by any wind. His strength was beyond anything he had dared imagine.
He didn’t unleash his aura or activate his Sacred Art.
The only thing he did was swing his sword and cast a spell, Fire Spark.
Suddenly, Kaelis’s attack missed.
Ezekiel appeared behind her, slashing downward.
"ARGGGHH!" Her screams of agony resonated across the training platform.
Jaran doubted his ears as he stared at the scene wide-eyed in shock.
He looked around to see if others had witnessed this scene as well, and saw a similar expression of shock and disbelief on their faces.
He wasn’t seeing things.
Before the Worst One could connect with another strike, her magic power flared.
Kaelis’ sword burned with fierce red flames.
Countless fiery red feathers emerged from her blazing sword and surrounded her.
Ezekiel’s sword struck against the fiery red feathers, but was repelled.

"I thought that I would show this sword to Jaran first to show him how much I’ve been holding back and the significant difference in strength between us," Ezekiel said.
"You have a really powerful magic item, so I don’t have a choice but to also use mine if I want to win."
In the Worst One’s hand was a metallic drill, forged in a helix pattern with segmented, rotating grooves, radiating a deep, black, metallic sheen.
It didn’t resemble a sword in any way.
"That’s it! That was the weapon he had used to defeat us! Kaelis should be careful or else she might get hurt similarly," Kiran spoke anxiously.
Jaran looked at him with a frown.
He remembered that there was still a scar across the chest of one of the members of the Windcrest Clan who had fought against the Worst One that had yet to heal fully.
