At this moment, a circular wave exploded outward from Nyza’s chest, washing over Jacob like a tide of embers. It wasn’t a direct attack—it was erasure. The flame consumed energy, not flesh.
Jacob’s defense flared under the onslaught of her strange law, starting to dim ever so slightly. Nonetheless, Jacob was solemn when he felt Nyza’s strange flames begin to affect even his soul force.

With explosive momentum, he launched the terrifying law toward Nyza, breaking through the ash spiral.

His strike landed, but instead of piercing, her body shattered into smoke, scattering like dust on the wind.
Only for her to reappear behind him, her body rebuilding from the same smoke, embers glowing along her veins even brighter than before.
"What a strange creature you are...you have innate dual magic cores, you have also comprehended the Law of Void, and your flame inherently has the traces of destruction...and your lightning also has annihilation in it...Yet you seemed to know nothing about how to utilize your gifts properly...what a waste." She whispered, voice both mournful and proud. "You might be able to kill me, but I’ll return stronger each time. That is Ember Rebirth!"
Jacob was startled when he heard this unexpected evaluation about his Fire and Lightning mana. It was the first time someone had pointed out the uniqueness of the magic cores he had acquired through the Art of Nature.
His eyes flickered profoundly, ’My decision not to use my trump cards is right. These Flame Acolytes seemed to have a will of their own, and fighting them was a rare learning experience, if one could truly understand their laws.
’Furthermore, this trial seemed to be specifically targeted at Fire Law, yet also different, unique laws combined with the Fire Law. Is this the true power of a Demigod?’ Jacob thought as he looked at Nyza, who was about to start a new attack.
Just as he suspected, Nyza’s entire figure suddenly erupted in an upward burst of scarlet ash, and her silhouette morphed into a slimmer, more defined one. Her ember veins pulsed with gold, not crimson.
Furthermore, at this moment, a vague phantom of an ancient instrument suddenly materialized behind Nyza, making the entire atmosphere suffocating and mystical.
When Jacob saw the phantom of the vague ancient instrument, his eyes flickered violently, ’A celestial astrolabe!’
It was Jacob’s first time seeing an incomplete construct of a Celestial Astrolabe other than his own. This vague construct was the system of a true Quasi-Myth, and not even the Quasi-Myth rank, mech-skeleton of Black Mechanic could replicate a Celestial Astrolabe.

The moment the circle completely covered Jacob, a volcanic waterfall of red-golden flames fell on him, bringing a terrifying intent to destroy.
This time, the Law contained in this attack was far more potent and profound than the previous attack. Jacob’s soul force began to wane at an alarming rate.
Although it still failed to crack open his defenses, there was no doubt that the input to keep it up had risen exponentially.
’Can’t waste more mana and soul force, since there are still four more opponents to face...’ Jacob tried to comprehend the Fire Law to the best of his abilities.
Still, it was too profound to grasp within a few moments, and he didn’t want to become vulnerable by overestimating his abilities and succumbing to greed.
