Once they were alone again, Kulas said, "Your room is already being prepared as we speak, so let's check out the training area, shall we?"
"Let's." Tian Yang nodded.
Kulas then led them to the back of the palace, where a flower garden of massive, unknown plants was growing. As they walked through the garden path, Kulas explained, "This is where I grow my tea leaves."
"How do you grow them?" Ren Xia asked.
Kulas showed a mysterious smile on his face, "Are you sure you want to know?"
Ren Xia frowned at his ominous words and quickly said, "You'd better tell us, especially since you fed it to us."
Kulas let out a laugh. "I grow them in special soil—soil that's been infused with my blood."
"Your blood, again? Do you consider it some kind of universal treasure that improves everything it touches?"
"If you're worried about side effects, worry not. We've done extensive testing until we're certain of their safety for consumption. Of course, this goes for the magical beasts outside, as well."
"And how many people have died during those tests?" Ren Xia asked with a quick sneer.
"Nobody died. At worst, a few had upset stomachs for several weeks."
Once they left the garden, they arrived at an empty courtyard with a single guard protecting a circular platform with Array Symbols etched all over it.
"This lowly subject greets His Majesty." The guard bowed the moment he saw them.
Kulas gave a slight nod of acknowledgement before speaking to Tian Yang, "We're almost there."
A moment later, they stood on the platform before being teleported to a new location.
"Where are we?" Tian Yang muttered as he found himself standing on a massive platform while surrounded by water.
"We're inside a separate dimension—one completely isolated from the outside world," he explained calmly.
"What?" Tian Yang raised his eyebrows, clearly puzzled.
At this point in history, the concept of creating one's own world was still in its infancy, and very few people were even aware that such a feat was possible.
"How does it work?" Tian Yang asked.
"It's similar to how a spatial ring or storage pouch works. In simpler words, we're currently inside a massive spatial ring. Not only is it much more massive, but it can also contain living beings. In here, no matter how much damage we do during our training, it won't affect the outside world."
"How does one create their own world?" Ren Xia inquired.
"It's not easy or cheap. Not only does it require a tremendous amount of resources, but you will also need to maintain the world after its creation. As for how they're created… you'll need to ask the expert who created the world in the first place. I am only supplying the necessary spirit stones to operate it."
"And how expensive is it to maintain the world?" Ren Xia continued to ask.
"This world is relatively small, but even a world of this size costs around a hundred million spirit stones to create and thousands of spirit stones a day to maintain it. If you train in here and damage the place, it could easily consume over a hundred thousand spirit stones for repairs."
"Heavens. It is that expensive? You're literally throwing away money at this point. Why don't you just create a normal training ground? That will definitely be much cheaper to create and maintain—even if you destroy it and have to remake it every day."
"Well, I have no other uses for spirit stones. We earn more than we ever need just from selling our materials to the merchants who visit our continent."
After a slight pause, he continued, "Keep this between us, but we also have several large Spirit Veins on the continent, earning us hundreds of thousands of spirit stones a day."
"Spirit Veins, huh? If word of it were to spread, there'd definitely be trouble." Tian Yang remarked.
Spirit Veins were the only reliable source of spirit stones and the origin of most that circulated in the world. Nearly all of them were controlled by large and powerful backgrounds, and whenever a new vein was discovered, it often sparked fierce wars as countless powers fought for ownership.
If several Spirit Veins existed on the Giant's Continent, they would undoubtedly attract countless greedy and ambitious individuals. "I get that you're rich, but it still feels a bit wasteful," Ren Xia said, shaking her head.
Kulas smiled. "If we used this place only as a training ground, then yes. But it also serves as a safehouse and a vault."
"A vault? I don't see one." Tian Yang said as he looked around, seeing nothing but water for as far as the horizon goes.
"A single world can have multiple layers. This world has two layers, and we're currently in the first layer."
"I see… how intriguing," Tian Yang murmured, the thought of forging a world of his own stirring within him.
Throughout his battles with the Immortal Clans, he had plundered their valuables whenever he could, amassing a mountain of treasures and spirit stones. But until this moment, he'd had no idea how any of it could be used.
"Are you thinking about what I currently am?" Ren Xia suddenly spoke to him.
"About making our own world?"
"A paradise for just the two of us… It'd be very romantic," she chuckled.
"We'll have to learn the method for creating it first, though."
Kulas then said, "I'll introduce you to the expert later… if you can defeat me in a match."
Tian Yang looked at him with a raised eyebrow.
"Right now?"
"Right now," Kulas confirmed.
