The commander of the soldiers trembled in anger after witnessing how badly they were losing to the Asura Clan.
"Wait a second! That technique he just used! Why does it look so familiar?!"
Although he didn't realize it at first, the commander slowly started to recognize the Asura Clan's martial techniques. "Their overwhelming killing intent… those techniques… don't tell me—! The Asura Clan?!"
Even though he had never fought against the Asura Clan or seen their techniques before, the commander was almost certain of their identity.

Even so, the commander could hardly believe it.
"The Asura Clan—second only to the Evil God in their contributions in their war against the first Celestial Emperor—has escaped the Primordial Realm?! No! I cannot allow them to leave alive!" the commander barked, clenching his fists.
He immediately retrieved a communication jade slip and requested more reinforcements even though he'd already done so earlier.
"Send the reinforcements immediately, and send as much as you can! The Asura Clan has escaped from the Primordial Realm!"
The receiver of the commander's transmission jolted in shock upon hearing the message.
"The Asura Clan?! I must notify His Majesty, the Celestial Emperor, immediately!" he exclaimed, his voice trembling with disbelief.
Without even the slightest delay, the man rushed to find the Celestial Emperor. However, he was stopped at the Celestial Palace's front gate.
"What do you want now, Messenger Huang?" The guard asked the messenger.
"This is about the Primordial Realm! I must speak with the Celestial Emperor as soon as possible! It's an emergency!"
"The Primordial Realm? The reinforcements are already on their way."
"No! You don't understand! I just received news from Commander Lee that some exiles have just escaped from the Primordial Realm, and they're the Asura Clan!"
"Asura Clan…?" The name didn't immediately register in the guard's mind.
"The Asura Clan?!" However, once he realized the severity of the issue, he immediately opened the gates to allow the messenger through.
Some time later, the messenger reached the Celestial Emperor's room. But he was stopped at the door again.
"Messenger Huang? What are you doing here?"
The messenger immediately repeated what he said to the guard outside.
"The Asura Clan, you say?!"
The guard quickly retrieved a communication jade slip and relayed the information to the other holder.
Moments later, the door behind him started to open, and a servant walked out.
"His Majesty, the Celestial Emperor, is already aware of the Asura Clan's situation. You may return."
Without waiting for a response, the servant closed the doors.
"The Celestial Emperor is already aware? Did he predict this would happen?" The messenger mumbled to himself before leaving the Celestial Palace shortly after.
Meanwhile, the Celestial Emperor stood calmly before a massive device, staring at the slumbering figures shown within it.
"The Asura Clan… the ones who fought beside the Evil God, Tian Xian, against the first Celestial Emperor, huh?" he muttered with a faint smirk. "They may have been formidable once, but now they're nothing more than ancient relics—hardly worth mentioning."
Suddenly, his entire body stiffened as he caught sight of movement from one of the slumbering figures. What began as faint, almost imperceptible twitches soon grew more pronounced, rippling through the stillness of the void.
A wide smile appeared on the Celestial Emperor's face as he rejoiced, "At last!" Meanwhile, outside the Primordial Realm, Yuan and the Asura Clan had cut down more than half of Heaven's Mandate's forces.
"Alright, all of you, prepare to leave." Yuan sent a voice transmission to everyone from the Asura Clan and the Shadow Army. Yuan suddenly stopped moving and started gathering his spiritual energy, even using his Eternal Essence.
A few moments later, his aura exploded forward, enveloping everyone there.
"What is he trying to do?!"
The soldiers of Heaven's Mandate were instantly alerted and turned their attention to him.
"Heaven's Seventh Art — Heaven's Grand Snare!"
In the next instant, hundreds of golden chains materialized around Yuan and lashed outward toward the soldiers, as if seeking to ensnare them.
The soldiers hastily launched counterattacks, but to their horror, their spiritual energy scattered the moment it touched the chains, rendering their techniques utterly useless.
As for those who struck using their weapons, not even Mythic-grade treasures were able to put a mark on the chains, almost as if they were indestructible.
Some tried to flee, but the golden chains moved at the speed of light, outspeeding them with ease.

"Now! Leave!" Yuan commanded them to leave once he had captured nearly every single soldier there.
Without hesitation, Dong Ye retrieved a treasure and immediately created an escape portal.
"Over here!" Seeing the portal, the Shadow Army and the Asura Clan quickly rushed toward it.
While the others escaped, Yuan focused on maintaining the technique. Since he had to use the technique on hundreds of God Ascension cultivators, his spiritual energy was being drained at a drastic rate.
Yet, with his powerful cultivation speed, Yuan was able to restore his spiritual energy just fast enough to barely keep up with the demand.

Hearing Dong Ye's words, Yuan deactivated the technique and rushed toward the portal, as he was unable to move while using the technique.
However, right before reaching the portal, Yuan suddenly stopped moving.
"My liege?! What are you waiting for?! The portal will close soon!" Dong Ye exclaimed.
Yuan gritted his teeth and responded with voice transmission, "Something is restricting my movements!"

Before Yuan could say another word, an unfathomable presence suddenly descended, enveloping the space around him with an otherworldly presence.
"This presence… an Eternal!"
Yuan's brows furrowed into a frown after recognizing the identity of the presence.
