Waves of brutish, devouring force erupted from the void like an invisible demon. It greedily and violently consumed everyone’s bodies, seeking to tear them apart, devour their Essence Blood, and absorb their Divine Souls.
Yinshi Evil King had obviously been plotting this for a long time. The power of the formation was absolutely terrifying. The numerous Foundation Establishment Stage disciples of the Ghost King Sect had no ability to resist. Their bodies exploded on the spot, their vital energy and souls completely devoured by the array.
In an instant, more than seventy percent of the people at the scene were gone. Even the Nascent Soul Stage Elders turned deathly pale, their auras weakening as they used every means at their disposal to desperately resist the formation’s power. It was clear they couldn’t hold on for much longer.
"Damn it! We have no grievance with you! Why are you doing this?" the Second Elder shrieked, his eyes nearly splitting with fury. He bit his lips until they bled, his withered and frail body swaying as if a single gust of wind could topple him.
Yinshi Evil King stood with his hands behind his back, his expression indifferent. "A question like that makes me doubt both your intelligence and your position."
The Third Elder’s expression was one of sheer terror, as if he had realized something. "You want to use our Essence Blood and Divine Souls as a catalyst to activate the Great Demonic Sacrifice, to borrow the power of a Heavenly Demon... to monopolize this secret realm for yourself?"
Yinshi Evil King glanced at him. "It seems not all of you are complete fools."
Upon hearing this, everyone was visibly shocked, looks of horror dawning in their eyes.
Monopolize a Blessed Land-level secret realm! That was something they would never dare to imagine! They knew in their hearts they weren’t worthy. It was like offering a mountain of gold to a beggar; even if it were given to them, they wouldn’t be able to hold onto it.
But Yinshi Evil King clearly possessed such ambition.
Whether he was worthy of monopolizing it was no longer their concern. The biggest problem now was that Yinshi Evil King had made his move. There was no way he would let them leave alive. He could not allow even the slightest hint of his plan to leak out. Everyone present... had to die!
"Lord Yinshi! My lord! I have always been your most obedient servant! Please, spare me! I would never betray you..." the Sixth Elder pleaded, dropping to his knees to swear his loyalty.
Seeing this, the other Elders quickly followed suit, kneeling and making all sorts of vile oaths, even swearing on their Heart Demons.
Yinshi Evil King watched them with a light chuckle. "I believe in your loyalty... but if I lack the Essence Blood and Divine Souls of you Nascent Soul experts, the effectiveness of this blood sacrifice will be greatly diminished! Since you are all so loyal to me, you must be willing to die for my grand ambition, right?
"Rest assured. When I have perfected my Demonic Techniques and established my own sect, I will not forget your contributions. I will even have your deeds recorded for posterity!"
His words plunged the Elders into complete despair. Their eyes turned bloodshot as they hurled curses. "Damn you! You’ll get what you deserve!"
"I curse you for all eternity!"
"If the Sect Master finds out about this, he will never let you get away with it!"

The Yinshi Evil King remained calm, a look of enjoyment even crossing his face as he watched the others despair.
Retribution? Curses? He couldn’t give a damn. If he feared such things, he never would have become the Deputy Sect Master of the Ghost King Sect. As for the Ghost King Sect Master himself... that old fool probably still has no idea what’s going on, does he? And there’s no way he could know that I’m the one who found the Ghost Immortal Blessed Land, which the Ghost King Sect lost thousands of years ago!
It was true. The Blessed Land before them had originally belonged to the Ghost King Sect.
Thousands of years ago, the Ghost King Sect was not as weak as it was now. It wasn’t even called the Ghost King Sect, but the Ghost Immortal Sect, and it was a true titan of the Demonic Path. Watching the countless streams of blood essence rise from the bodies of the demonic cultivators before him, watching countless people fall as their corpses turned to dust and their Divine Souls became nourishment for the array, watching face after face twisted in wails of terror, he couldn’t help but feel a surge of excitement as his plot neared completion.
His gaze swept across the remaining crowd, and his brow suddenly furrowed.
