This was the first time the Federation Special Mecha Forces had faced the Mythical Army head-on, defeating and annihilating half their strength. Seeing the mission target successfully rescued, the rogue mechas were ecstatic, celebrating wildly. They finally had something to brag about when they returned!
Watching from the ridge, Fatty was infuriated, connecting to the regional communication channel and cursing, "You bunch of idiots, with hundreds of mechas all in a broken state, collectively playing dead?! And you still let them escape after encircling them. Now that they’ve escaped, don’t let them come my way!"
Seeing the Mythical Army’s mechas heading for the ridge, Fatty couldn’t care to curse anymore and screamed, "Help! Russell is here with me! Get your asses here and save me! They’re killing me!"
The cheering rogues were stunned. It wasn’t until Commander Nadal ordered a pursuit that they woke up as if from a dream, hurriedly chasing in the direction the Mythical Mechas were fleeing.
However, distant water couldn’t save the near fire; the speed of the Mythical Mechas was much faster than the Warrior series mechas. Fatty almost cried out loud, thinking those idiots would be too late by the time they arrived.
In a rush, Fatty spotted several protruding boulders on the edge of the ridge. He circled around the hanging rocks covering half of the mountain slope and burst into wild laughter. This was the only way to the ridge. If the Mythical Army changed direction halfway, it’d be fine. But if they really came this way, detonating these rocks along with the overhanging cliffs would cause a landslide from the rain, likely burying half of them!
Fatty quickly selected a few blasting points by eye, drilled holes, planted the demining bombs from his mecha toolbox, and gleefully waited for the Mythical Mechas to arrive.
The Mythical Army’s mechas arrived in a panic. They didn’t understand why the Federation rogue mechas, who had been cheering and celebrating a victory, suddenly pursued them so relentlessly as if on steroids. Even the bloodiest warriors would have a change in mindset during a rout. Mythical Army soldiers were absolutely not allowed to be captured. Seeing the rogue mechas behind them, they grew more panicked, fleeing chaotically like chickens with their heads cut off.
The Mythical Mechas almost stumbled straight into Fatty’s trap. With several loud explosions, a whole section of the protruding cliff was blasted loose, thousands of cubic meters of rock mixed with rainwater and mud cascaded down. Apart from the lead [Vajra], all the other forward Mythical Mechas were buried under the massive landslide. The [Demon Tigers] in the rear were immobilized by the falling debris and were quickly surrounded by the pursuing Federation Mechas.
Stuart stood dumbfounded on the ridge, staring at the gleefully wriggling [Magic Beast Ⅲ] mecha, frozen for a moment. He gritted his teeth and said, "It’s you! It’s you! I’ve finally found you! SM01314, prepare to face judgment!"
An entire platoon of [Vajra] mechas plus half a company of [Demon Tigers] were buried alive. The only one who escaped, Wallace, was enraged. Pulling the control stick, his [Vajra] charged at the gloating [Magic Beast] like a mad tiger. He must tear this despicable bastard to pieces!
In bursts of joy and sorrow, the continuously collapsing mountain had severed the passage below from the ridge in two. No one could help him. This vengeful [Vajra] had to be faced alone!
The speed of the [Vajra] was lightning fast. After only two shots, [Logic] was pounced upon by the [Vajra], its ion light saber slashing towards a critical point!
Fatty was horrified. Almost instinctively, a set of combined commands barely made [Logic] dodge. He aimed a reverse kick at the [Vajra]’s wrist. The ion light saber posed a huge threat and had to be dealt with first.

Fatty’s hands were almost cramping, yet he couldn’t increase his hand speed to forty actions per second. Milan’s designed instantaneous transformation ability of the biological dual-state metal couldn’t fully activate at such hand speed.
The faster both fought, the more it seemed like shadows twisting and spinning on the ridge. The sounds of mechas’ fists and kicks clashing were as dense as popping beans.
[Vajra] increased its speed again, its reversed hand swinging the ion light saber at [Logic]’s lower limbs, while its left hand reached for Fatty’s cockpit. It was a life-and-death moment.
