They had been huddled in a farm less than two kilometers from the prison for a full twenty minutes, and the dispatched reconnaissance team still couldn’t obtain accurate information. All they knew was that in the direction of the fighting arena, the Special Security Force of the Investigation Bureau, the Gazalin Army, the Mythical Army, prison guards, and a group of unknown mercenaries were all tangled in a fight.
As for the cell block and its vicinity, it was quiet, and it was impossible to determine if there was an ambush in the short term.
Just as the guides were getting anxious, news finally came from Tanville. But it wasn’t the city ambush squad that relayed back the information; it was from the transport ship carrying [Logic], transmitted using Albert’s encryption machine.
The message was brief: The Electronic Camp has successfully deceived the space control system, and the transport ship has launched and will land at the scheduled time. Gazalin coup!
Those last five words explained everything.
The airborne troops, mercenaries, and the battle between the cell block and the fighting arena all made sense!
Taking advantage of chaos was a trick Tian Xingjian had learned from the Freedom Front upon reaching Mezrich. If not now, then when?
Songaila quickly ordered Oberto and Yaric to each lead a group of troops and directly assault the prison from two directions. Meanwhile, he himself would lead the main force to attack the prison’s main gate, inserting themselves between the fighting arena and the cell block from the flanks, creating a blockade position to isolate a safe path for the rear units to control the cell block and watch tower.
With pent-up energy, the Freedom Fighters, like ferocious tigers released from their cages and led by dozens of Mecha, quickly demolished the layers of tight isolation and electric fences surrounding the prison, surging toward the cell block like a tide.
After the Freedom Fighters killed a scant few patrolling Investigation Bureau soldiers on the prison’s perimeter, they encountered no obstruction in occupying the western and northern watch towers and pushed to the side of the cell block. With a loud explosion, a large hole was blown open in the rectangular cell block, and a group of dust-covered prisoners came howling out.

Long-term prison life had stifled these nobles to the point of suffocation, especially the younger ones who were imbued with a spirit of "Give me liberty or give me death." Watching the nobles howl as they dashed out of the cell block, Tian Xingjian anxiously tightened his grip around Sidney’s neck. On his honest face, his eyes blinked incessantly, and he cocked his head to listen very attentively. In his heart, he was constantly praying that there were no traps outside; otherwise, if the nobles died, Fatty wouldn’t last long either. After all, no amount of fat could be used as an energy shield.
Once they ran through the blasted opening, the noble squad burst into joyful cheers, as the expected gunfire did not erupt.
