As the Empire’s top royal unit, the most advanced and expensive weapons are prioritized for the Mythical Army. After being tested and used by the army, they are gradually equipped to other units. In a sense, the Mythical Army is the core of the Imperial Army, and the core research lab that sits within this core is of paramount importance. If Fatty can enter the core lab and become the leading figure of the Mythical Army’s mecha research lab, then all matters related to the development and maintenance of mechas and other weapons for the Mythical Army would be under his control. If Reinhardt does not heed the words of such a person, whose words would he listen to?
George left, and Fatty was elated. This mecha, designed by the newly established mecha research lab, in both concept and specific structural performance design, is too close to a Private Mecha. As modification platforms, these mechas’ performances were adequate for the needs of converting into Military Mechas. Even so, most of these mechas were long-range, not close-combat mechas. Though Private Mechas had developed in many aspects over the years, borrowing aspects from them for close combat did not suffice; such mechas would be built on the wrong premise from the beginning.
Fatty only pointed out one of the mecha’s flaws. If the Federation designed such a mecha, Fatty would have the entire mecha scrapped and rebuilt from scratch. A battlefield mecha must meet the battlefield’s needs; no matter how good the performance of a Private Mecha was, if not altered, it would be garbage on the battlefield. A child might be a martial arts champion, but he is still just a child. Letting him participate in a heavyweight boxing championship would be a joke, not to mention making him wear adult-sized shoes and gloves for the competition.

The Freedom Fighters had changed their tactics, becoming as elusive as cunning rats. Operating in small squads, their actions were covert, and their sneak attack plans were executed swiftly, with the fighters escaping immediately regardless of the outcome, giving the siege units no time to react. The main forces were never exposed, leaving the Mythical Army repeatedly thwarted as they scrambled to deploy their troops.
Now, the Gazalin Empire had issued strict defense orders to all energy and military units, doubling the guard’s involvement in vigilance, and mobilizing national forces, including armed police, the intelligence department, and the army, for unrestricted searches. The aim was to eradicate these rebellious organizations causing chaos and fear at the root.
Reinhardt’s reaction speed was swift; two regiments of the Mythical Army had been dispatched in platoons, responsible for assisting in searches and vigilance. However, many of these Freedom Fighters were civilians with no previous offenses, making it impossible to identify them by background. Many were even former army retirees. Large-scale searches or lockdowns and indiscriminate detentions and interrogations of suspicious lower-class targets would undoubtedly affect the overall social order and the morale of soldiers fighting on the front lines. At such a critical moment, Reinhardt understood clearly that he could not create an atmosphere of tension and confrontation. Otherwise, if the lower-class soldiers in the army rebelled, the entire Empire would descend into chaos. Carrying out combat plans would be out of the question; making it through this internal turmoil unscathed would be fortunate!
