Me and Anko feel our clones disperse.Along with the happy memories of the day our clones lived, the last memories are of the girls approaching our lodging.
We stand in place, I sit against the bedrest with Anko leaning on me as the door opens and Sakura’s face shows first.

The small 8x8 meters room has a couple of beds and a chair. Sakura sits around my feet while Ino and Hinata sit on the other bed with Tsunade taking the chair and Shizune insisting on just standing next to her.

“And what did you see exactly in that prophecy?”
“Suffering, death, a 4th Great Ninja War for the Survival of the World involving every village.”
The mood turns somber as Hinata covers her mouth. Sakura and Ino take it with a somber face and while Shizune gasps Tsunade remains unconvinced.
“Wars don’t start that fast Yami, how can a war possibly start that fast and be that large without any signs already?”
“Because our enemy is as strong as every village together and has been bidding his strength and planning for decades. The stakes are high but thanks to this vision we have a chance to change everything.”
“Can you prove that your vision is real?”
“Let me think… I know about your necklace and the story behind it… as well as your fear and what led you to leave Konoha I know you also met A recently and helped him.”

“We take it one step at a time… the first major event will happen in the Chunin exams.”

“We can’t allow that!” Hinata yells as she gets up.
I motion over and Hinata sits in my open side as I hug her over the clothes.
“I don’t like that option either Hinata, maybe sacrifices are necessary but the old man has always done his best for Konoha and its ninjas.”
Hinata rests her head on my shoulder, trying to not think about how I’m naked underneath as I continue.
“The second option is we scare the snake, we call out his plans and break them as soon as we can, maybe even have Tsunade assume the mantle of 5th sooner than the exams.”
“And the last option?” Tsunade asks.
“We trap the snake, we lay low until the final moment when Orochimaru is present and has pulled out all his cards before closing the trap on him”
Tsunade smiles.
“The high-risk high-return option sounds like a proper wagger for me.”
“I’ll be relying on you then, my good luck charm”
Tsunade smiles.
