Anvitha's pov:
I felt my maa nudge me to extend my hand. I extended my trembling hand towards. 'My to be' held it gently i could feel my body flooded with different kind of sensations. His hand looked manly and felt rough. He slipped ring which looked beautiful too fancy. I cringed inwardly. I felt a gentle squeeze on my hand and it is none other than 'my to be'.
My to be...hmmmm...hmmm
I looked up to find most handsome hunk standing in front of me holding my hands.
My eye widen, mouth agape.
My breath got stuck.
My heart stopped beating.
I forgot to blink. I couldn't even remove my gaze from most handsome specimen.
His lips curved a bit and my heart flipped at it. I stood dazed.
His face and neck turned red. He is blushing.
wow.....
I was awestruck. I couldn't even blink my eyes.
He raised his eyebrow at me still blushing.
That's is when i realised i was gawking at him.

I involuntarily took few steps back shook my head no.
His expression changed from blushing to confusion to desperation to urgency in few seconds. He gently pulled me towards him.
Me being clumsy, tripped over my saree and fell on him. He encircled his arms around my waist. I shivered when his arms come in contact to my waist through my cloths. My hands are placed at his heart and my head on his chest. I could feel his heart beat on my palm. It was beating like drum, like mine. I smiled biting my lips.
I felt relaxed in his arms. This is my first hug with 'my to be'.

I have gone nuts. I pulled out instantly from his embrace and stood straight without facing him. I adjusted my saree eyes on ground. Maa and swathi aunty were trying not to smile looking at papa and kumar uncle. I looked at my right to find ishu wiggling her eyebrow in teasing manner. I can feel my cheeks heating up.
God!!! Way to embarrass on my very engagement.
I mentally smacked my forehead for losing my self control and openly drooling at him.
Why do i had to raise my head? Shit.
I slipped the ring hurriedly and moved as far as i could and sticked to karan.
Soon we were busy with the guest. We didn't had the time to think about 'embrassing/droll worthy' moment. I didn't dare to look at him i felt him looking at me all the time but i remained obvious.
Guest from his side blew a kiss to my cheek hugging me without touching me.
eeewwwwwe....i scrunched my nose inwardly. What is with them and kissing that too they smell alcohol.
As soon as their kissing section got over they move towards him and stuck to him like honeybee stuck to its nest.
They completely forgot me and chat with him as if i doesn't exist here.
All ou of sudden a beautifully fake girl hugged 'my to be' squealing like a kid when kid get her favourite barbydoll. She wore most revealing golden lehenga with slit at one side paired up with deep blouse.
I stood watching them as they hugged each other. I could feel myself getting ready to pull them apart but i stayed quite.
Too much of jealousy is not good for health, you know.
"Who are you engaged to ? where is that lucky girl to get this handsome?"she said still clinging to him last part seductively. Sagar didn't mind it infact his smirk grew even wider with her flirty comment.
How can he be unaffected?.He should have atleast some respect to me as i am standing right beside him but he is busy with her and didn't mind her holding infront of everyone.
Everyone ....shit my parents will also be witnessing this...oh god they will be worried....i have not yet married here this guy is already causing trouble. i am burning with anger.
I looked around and found my parents looking towards us. I visibly panicked. I could feel myself sweating. I shot them a assuring smile they relaxed a bit but they didn't stop glancing back. Karan was shooting dagger at sagar but i nodded a no and shot him a smile that everything is good. He excused himself and made his way towards me.
"Meet my future wife Anvitha. Anvitha meet anaya my friend cum ex- housemate" he introduced still holding her. I shot her a awkward smile because i don't know what their act may cause tsunami aka problem in future. I am sick worried thinking about how to handle it.
"Meet my buddy kishore and tarun" he left anaya and circled his arms around two guys who are equally handsome.
I let out a breath of relief but was that was not for too long.
"WHAT? ARE YOU MARRYING HER? WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU SAGAR BABY? THERE ARE MANY GIRLS LINING TO MARRY YOU BUT YOU CHOOSE TO MARRY A SIMPLE GIRL WITH NO SENSE OF FASHION, STYLE. HAVE YOU GONE MAD? HAVE YOU SEEN HER SAREE." she looked at me with pure disgust. I felt like crying but i stayed strong as i don't want to create any problem. I thought she would stop but she again started. She moved towards me and held my saree in her hand.
"WHOSE SAREE IS THIS? YOUR GRAND MAA? HECK MY GREAT GRAND MAA SAREE IS EVEN MORE PRETTIER WITH PURE SILK THREAD AND COSTLIER. IS THERE ANY SINGLE PURE SILK THREAD IN YOUR SARER. I GUESS NO. WHAT CAN I EXPECT FROM THIS SIMPLE PLAIN LOOKING GIRL. AND NOT TO MENTION SHE ISN'T BEAUTIFUL . SHE IS UGLIER THAN A DUCK. DID YOU THOUGHT MARRYING HIM, YOU WOULD CHANGE FROM DUCK TO SWAN, HUH?" one of his friend held her hand. I stood there like fool not knowing what to reply? how to reply? Tears start to build up in my eyes but i refuse to let it go.
"Stop anaya, what are you doing? stop your drama. It's time for you to leave. Tarun show anaya out." the same friend is kishore i guess said something in her ears.
Out of no where i felt karan launching towards anaya. I held him tightly in reflex action as i know how dangerous he can be when he someone mess up with me.
"Anna, no please."i begged him. He looked at my pleading eye and hugged me tightly. Instantly i relaxed a bit. From my side i could see 'my to be' stood there doing nothing.
Yeah , he is busy with his phone.
I scoffed at him. I really sad, how can he stay quite when she was harassing me? At least for humanity he could have stopped her if not support me? but he choose to stay quite.
Impressive... very impressive.
"Sagar, why you didn't stop her? You should not have let her talk to anvitha like that?" kishore hissed at him, questioning instead of me.
"Cool, you know that is anaya, why getting all worked up? You know how obsessed she is about fashion. Her behaviour is common and besides she is right." sagar said not bothering that i can hear him.
I was never humiliated like this in my entire life.
