Chapter 24: Worth Double

Rodriguez stared at Qian Jin’s back and didn’t pay attention to the principal’s question. He was very surprised himself. Although he knew that Qian Jin would definitely win, his victory was way too clean! Moreover, he didn’t even know that Qian Jin had advanced to a Level 4 Warrior!
The senior students looked at each other in unison, and the crowd fell into a short silence. They didn’t even cheer for Qian Jin who had won the fight.
Qian Jin blew some air onto his hands. Even he couldn’t believe it. When he was facing Revolver-Skyblade’s attack, he used the blacksmithing technique subconsciously and didn’t use the fighting techniques that the academy taught him.
“Interesting.” Qian Jin rolled his shoulders and swung his arms like windmills as he walked slowly and steadily towards Caesars who was in deep shock. “Hey, didn’t you want to challenge me to a fight here? I’m still here and I just sent your helper to rest. Now, it’s your turn to teach me a lesson.”
Caesars looked angrily at Revolver-Skyblade who could no longer get up. “This eighth seat is so trash! I wasted my two gold coins. How could he say that he could defeat Qian Jin with one strike?” he thought to himself.
Qian Jin, on the other hand, was in a great mood. He kept marching towards Caesars as he said with a smile on his face, “It’s okay, you can use a stick if you want. I won’t say that it is unfair.”
Caesars’ legs couldn’t stop shaking as Qian Jin got closer and closer. Slowly, his entire body started to shake as well. The image of Qian Jin beating his ass last time popped in his head, and he couldn’t get rid of it. He cried for help in his mind, “You won’t call it unfair, but I will! I’m only a Level 2 Warrior, but you are a Level 4 Warrior already. This is not fair at all!”
“Hey…” Qian Jin glanced at Caesars’ two henchmen who were still holding Rollin down and said, “Do both of you enjoy the smell of dirt?”
“Dirt?” The two of them were confused, but they understood what Qian Jin was saying after a second. People were buried in the ground after they died, and Qian Jin’s words were somewhat indirect.
Rollin was finally able to free himself from the two guys. He swung his thick arms mercilessly and said to the two guys with a smile on his face, “You guys had fun beating me, right? It’s my turn now!”
Bam! Bam!
Rollin’s thick fists struck the two henchmen in the stomach, and he followed up with a front kick to each of them. Pursuing girls should be independent, based on each person’s own abilities. The fact that Rollin was involved in two unfortunate situations was very unreasonable.
Qian Jin shook his head and sighed as he saw Caesars throwing away the stick he was holding. “Come on man. How are you scared of me? Once we get to the frontlines in the war, will you be even more scared to the point that you would betray us humans and go work for the demons?”
“Rollin, he is yours! I don’t want to waste my time…” Qian Jin changed directions and walked toward Revolver-Skyblade. “To be honest, I didn’t really care about the tags. I was fine just being able to go to the Warrior Energy Concentration Array as the first group in Grade One. However, I also don’t mind taking one of your tags so I can get closer to the core of the array and absorb more energy from the energy stones.”
Revolver-Skyblade laid on the ground and breathed heavily. His arms were still numb and sore since he placed them on the ground to support his kicks, despite still being injured by the impact. He couldn’t stop Qian Jin from grabbing a tag from him.
“Qian Jin, you took one of my tags…” Revolver-Skyblade said to Qian Jin with his weak voice. “Think this through. Once you take my tag, you will officially enter the fight between the top ten seats.”
Qian Jin was going to turn around and leave, but he stopped when he heard that. He tossed Revolver-Skyblade’s tag in his hand and said, “I honestly don’t want to get involved, but I realized that I just can’t stay out of it. You guys always try to find and challenge me. Why should I continue avoiding you guys? If any other people have the same intention as you, then let them come to me. I don’t mind collecting a few more tags.”
Caesars was screaming in the background the whole time. Rollin had inherited all of his merchant father’s good traits; once gains could be made, he would not hesitate to jump at it. This was especially true since Caesars was one of his most hated enemies and rivals, so Rollin didn’t let this great opportunity slide.
Striking with his thick arms and throwing fat punches, Caesars got his ass whooped again. Rollin was creative with his final hit; he sat on Caesars with his fat ass which almost choked Caesars until he was unconscious. The seniors watched Rollin get off of Caesars proudly and saw Caesars’ haggard face. They suddenly thought of another situation. “If this was a dark night and Rollin walked out of the little forest while putting back on his belt, then what would have happened to Caesars? He was lying on the ground and couldn’t get up.”
“You kicked me too.” Rollin walked to Revolver-Skyblade and lifted his feet off the ground and forcefully stepped on Revolver-Skyblade. However, he suddenly saw Revolver-Skyblade’s sharp, knife-like eyes. He got scared and didn’t know whether to kick the guy or just walk away.
“Rollin, quick! I’m busy!”
Qian Jin yelled at the side, which gave Rollin a lot of courage. He didn’t hold back and stepped on Revolver-Skyblade’s face repeatedly, despite Revolver-Skyblade looking at him threateningly. After that, he left the little forest with Qian Jin feeling like a boss.
The seniors looked at each other in the eyes; they could tell that everyone was looking forward to see Qian Jin appearing in the top ten fights. There was no way that Qian Jin could escape from this reality. They knew they would see him again, but would they see him using proper Warrior Fighting Techniques? They all wondered.
“Interesting, very interesting.” The principal stroked his white goatee and said to Rodriguez, “Hey, I’ve got an idea. What would happen if I announce that Qian Jin’s tag is now worth double? His tag would be equal to two tags from the other top ten seats.”
Rodriguez turned around and said to the principal who had a joking expression on his face, “Principal Fick, that doesn’t follow the rules though.”
“Haha, he is currently a Level 4 Warrior, but I really want to see how hard he can fight.” Principal Fick said to Rodriguez. “As a principal and an instructor, we should know what warrior energy level our students have, but it is very hard to know their true fighting abilities. I don’t even know how tough this student, who was appraised by you, can fight.”
Revolver-Skyblade lost! The eighth seat was dominated by Qian Jin who was at a lower seat!
Revolver-Skyblade was in the hospital; his bones were dislocated, and he needed three days of rest! The dislocation was caused by a single strike from Qian Jin! This news quickly spread throughout the academy as if it had wings. This was currently the most trending topic! All the students had already forgotten that they were talking about the “extremely ugly looking” guy from a few days ago.
