Megha's POV
I informed Maji about dinner. She congratulated me and asked me about Vimal bhai's favourite dishes. I told her and she said, " Oh most of them are Mehul's favourite too. " She decided the menu and asked Maharaj Ji to make them.
I helped her and Maharaj Ji in the kitchen. In fact, I made bhai's favourite Khatta Dhokla, Aam ras and shrikhand. Maharaj Ji made Gujrati kadhi, Daal dhokli, Patra steamed rice, Aaloo no Shaak (dry veg of potato) and poori. He also prepared chhachh ( buttermilk).
All of them came by 7 PM. Bhabhi was also back by now. She was very busy these days as she had just come back from honeymoon and now her deadlines were close.
Everyone was enjoying as Mudit Bhai and Vimal Bhai were talking about our childhood. They were teasing each other.
Bhai said, " And Megha was so irritating at that time, she used to fight with Mehul all the time and would come and say that he was teasing her. Mehul was scolded so many times because of that." I glared at him though, to be honest, I knew it was true.
" It's not true bhai, he used to pull my pigtails. I swear he used to tease me a lot." I insisted.
" No, she was very irritating... She used to follow me everywhere and I never pulled her hair. " Mehul said smiling.
SMILING????
I should be angry with him, but I knew he was right and he was smiling. He looks so much more handsome while smiling.
So much more handsome?? What is wrong with me? He is so arrogant, bipolar and irritating.
The table was laid and the aroma of the food was amazing.
We all settled down to eat. As usual, he occupied the chair that was next to me. Bhai and Mehul both were foodies so they were very happy to see all the food that was served. Bhai loves Khatta Dhokla so he tried it and looked at me and smiled. Then he asked Mehul to try it. I glared at Bhai, but he didn't bother. Mehul tried it and said, " Wow !! This is great, I never tried it earlier. It has a different taste but very nice." Bhai smiled and winked at me.
We all were enjoying food as everything was delicious. Just then Maharaj Ji came to the dining room for serving something.
Mehul said," Maharaj Ji khana bahut hi achchha Bana hai aap ke hathon mein jaadu hai (the food is awesome... You give a magical touch to food). "
" In main se aadha khana to Megha bitiya ne banaya hai ( some of the dishes have been prepared by Megha beta)." He said smiling but the smile on Mehul's face was gone. His jaw almost touched the ground.
Everyone was smiling at him.
" Did she? Exactly what did she make? " He asked though he was still looking at me.
" Khatta Dhokla, Aam ras and shrikhand. " Maji told him and smiled.
" You liked dhokla, didn't you? Now try the other two things too. Megha beta, please serve both the dishes for him. In fact, you feed him with your own hands as you made something for the first time here. "
My cheeks were getting red now. As everyone was looking at us. I served both the things for him and offered a spoon full of both one by one. He ate them and said, " Everything is good."
" Oh, please Mehul, it is not good... It is awesome." Bhabhi said smirking.
" Hmmm," He nodded and smiled.
The dinner went very well and everyone teased him, when he took second servings.
Papaji and Maji gave me a beautiful ruby and diamond set as a gift, because I cooked for the first time, after I got married.
Mudit Bhai said, " You will get a very suitable gift from us very soon." I just smiled.
Mudit Bhai didn't let Bhai go to any hotel. So after dinner, we all sat down once again and chatted. I was enjoying it but I was dead tired. The men started talking about their business... I didn't even realise when my eyes started getting closed and I slept there on the sofa.
Mehul's POV
" Oh god!! the food was so good, I ate so much." Everyone started laughing the moment I said that.
I looked away from them and saw that Megha was very sleepy. It was quite late mom and dad had already gone to sleep.
Vimal Bhai said, " Megha you go and sleep, as you get up very early. I also have a flight to catch early in the morning. Good night everyone." after that, he went to the guestroom and Bhai and bhabhi also left.
She nodded and started going upstairs, but she was so sleepy that she bumped into the sofa. I caught hold of her hand to take her to our room. She headed towards our bed and slept, didn't even bother to change.
I kept ogling at her. She was very beautiful, smart, intelligent, talented and feisty as Gautam said. I swear, I wanted to beat him. He was not supposed to flirt with her, after all she is my wife. Mine...
But it's not his fault, he didn't know about it. Why the hell was I annoyed with her about our marriage. She was never at fault.
I encircled my arms around her. Her back was touching my chest. It felt so good to have her in my arms. I kept playing with her soft and silky hair for most of the night. I wanted to have her in my life now.

Megha's POV
Something heavy was sprawled on me. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Mehul. Oh my God !!!
I tried to push him, but he tightened his arms around me. Half of his body was already over me. I wanted to get away from him but somehow a part of me didn't...
My body was pressed against his and heat was rushing towards my face. My face, ears and neck were red and hot. I shook him very hard as I could not get away from him.
He opened his eyes and looked at me, he looked surprised
And then he got away immediately.
" What are you doing? Why were you touching me, while I was sleeping? " He asked me.
" WHAT??? What was... I doing?... Why was... I touching you? Are you mad ???? Why would I do that? In fact, you were doing it and now you are accusing me. You are impossible." I retorted.
" Ha, I won't even touch you even with a pole. Though It seems you could not resist me." He smiled.
" Yeah, why not... You are so lightweight, that I picked you up and put you on me.... and it was me, who made you encircle your arms around me so tightly. Please... ok? " I wanted to throw some at him.
" How do I know? I was sleeping. May be you did that."
" You are such a liar... You know, I can't do that. " I was getting angry now, but he was smirking at me and was coming towards me. I took a few steps back. He kept coming towards me and I kept going back till my back touched the wall.
" Wow! The pot is calling, the kettle black. You are a liar. Last night you said, I used to irritate you and pull your pigtails. Well, you know I never did that. " He imprisoned me by placing his hands on the wall on my either side. He took a few locks of mine in one of his hand and felt them between his fingers.
" But I regret that now. If only I knew, your hair was so soft, silky and fragrant, I would have done it every time you followed me." He bent his head a bit and whispered near my ear. His hot breath caressing my skin. My heart started beating with double speed. I was blushing profusely.
He was smiling and then he took a few steps back. I ran into the washroom and closed the door. I was shuddering because of what just happened. I looked at myself in the mirror, my face was red. I splashed cold water on my red and hot face. I came out of the washroom and ran Downstairs.
Mehul's POV
I opened my eyes and saw her face. I was surprised the way half of my body was on hers, but then I remembered, how I slept with her in my arms. I could not tell her that. So I said all those things to her.
She got very annoyed and made sarcastic comments on me. But I liked it. I like the way she gets affected by me. I cornered her and touched her hair. I could see that she was blushing. She looked even more beautiful. I wanted to do so many more things.
