Madison POV
“I think its best you leave Kingsley.” Krystal said in a tone of finality as she held my hands and pulled me to my car.
“Madison!!!” Kingsley called from behind but I ignored and walked into my car. I pulled my seat belt to use while Krystal sat in the passenger seat next to me.
“I cannot believe he has suddenly turned into a jerk, imagine him telling me he cares about me.” She scoffed as she pulled her seat belt to use. I ignite the engine and drove away slowly leaving Kingsley to stand alone and probably think about his life.
I looked away from my rear mirror and placed my elbow beside my window to rest my head on my palm.
Should I tell Krystal about the shuttering sounds I heard?
It was like a photo was taken. If I tell her, she would definitely freak out and I don’t want that to happen at all. I bit my lower lip then let out a heavy sigh, “What's wrong bae? What are you thinking of?” she asked me.
I turned to look at her then groaned, “I think we were being stalked.” I said lowly and she yelled out immediately.
“What?? Stalked?? By who????”
I squeezed my face immediately at her facial expression, “what the hell? Krystal!” I exclaimed and rolled my eyes as I turned my attention back to the road.
“This is not a child’s play Madison; how can you be this cool if you think we are being stalked? Should I report this to the police? God, I love my dear life” she said
“Who doesn’t?” I scoffed
“You can’t report a mafia to police, I mean…forget they could be police, they can be killed and forgotten.” I replied with a shrug.
“You sound more familiar to these mafias, I thought you were just a doctor but you are more experienced, damn.” She shook her head lowly then turned her face outside the window.
“Honestly, I feel like my life is slowly coming to an end. I love Adrian, I mean wo wouldn’t love Adrian?!?” she exclaimed
“Gosh, you love Adrian…is he the first guy you have ever loved this way?” I asked, Krystal used to be this free girl back then in school, she flirts with almost all the male students until she found Kingsley. And even after meeting Kingsley, she still flirted with some other guys.
Hearing her freak out this way towards Adrian is really amusing.
“Yes, Adrian is killing me, Madison. What do you think we are going to do if we are eventually being stalked by Greg’s men?” she sighed
“I am really scared.” She continued.
I remained quiet not knowing what to say, I am also scared.
“We are not in touch with Zach and not even his men, imagine we get attacked like the way Zach was?” she said with a heavy breath
“Don’t you think we need Zach?” she asked and I sighed
“Look, I don’t know what to say, I am as scared as you are believe me and I don’t just know what to say or even do.” I replied as I made a right turn and she sighed beside me.
“We have to do something Madison.”
Kingsley POV
Well, this is definitely not going the way I imagined it would. Of course, I know one day Madison would find out and that Krystal would also. I am loving a bit of it.
I sighed heavily and made my way to my car parked by the other side of her house. I strolled into my car and grabbed the steering wheels tightly in my hands.
“Madison, you would know why I am doing this. It is al for your own good.” I groaned and ignite the engine to drive away.
The last time Greg called me in the car, he mentioned he wanted to see me and I went to him in fear thinking he has found out my relationship with Madison but it wasn’t that. Instead, he called me over to join him and the family for dinner and Kevin never stopping staring at me, his gaze on me felt like daggers because he didn’t take his eyes off me till we finished dinner and he came into my room to ask me while I stormed away that way after I heard him call out Madison’s name.
I couldn’t tell him why; I am just trying to keep Madison safe so I lied to him. I told him I needed to get something done immediately and I tried to be sweet to him by bringing back home wines and alcohol just for the both of us to drink and have fun. He didn’t ask me further questions but let it end there and up till today, I am still surprised.
I expected him to be nosy like he always is but he proves me wrong and instead he helped me dress the wound on my arm.
I can’t picture in my head, Greg’s reaction when he finds out I have been seeing Madison. Or should I just terminate whatever I have with them?
Greg would never let me go easily.
Zach POV
I sat on the chair in my office with my small glass of vodka and a stick of cigarette in my hand. On the table beside me was a short pistol gun. I stared at it and gave a low laugh as I picked it up in my hand, “Kingsley, I am gonna blow your head with just one bullet, you and all of your gang.” I said with a scoff and heard a knock on the door,
“What’s it? The door is opened.” I said and the door slowly went open as few of my men stepped in.
My face brightens up immediately I saw them, I had sent them out hours ago.
“So what is it? How is she?” I asked, referring to Madison.
Yes, I sent them to check up on Madison if she is okay. The fact that she wants to be alone doesn’t mean I will completely take my eyes off her.
“Yes boss, she is completely healthy except that, from her face she looks sad”
“Yes, like someone in need of another person” another said
“Aside from that, she doesn’t look like she has been having peace.”
“Oh, looks like someone is troubling my baby then, who is it? Who did you meet with her?”
