The Ghost King was in high spirits.
Upon hearing this piercing sound, he couldn’t help but fly into a rage.
His gaze swept around fiercely, but he couldn’t find the source of the sound.
"Who dares to slander me so boldly?" the Ghost King roared furiously, his aura becoming even more powerful.
At this point, his gaze abruptly halted, settling on a small human woman beside the pool.

"I am the Sect Master of the Dragon God Sect! I kneel to no one but our ancestors and the heavens themselves!" she declared, her voice firm and resolute.
Luo Li’s pretty face was icy, her features as if carved by a knife.
Her body suddenly transformed into nine illusory dragons, darting in all directions, making it momentarily impossible to discern her true body.
Having reached the tenth level of the Origin Sea Realm, Luo Li executed the Nine Changes of the God Dragon movement technique with even greater ease.
A giant ghost hand struck down, but it missed.
"What kind of movement technique is this?" the Ghost King muttered, greatly surprised that his attack had missed.

"Luo Li, your movement technique isn’t bad. It has some of my flair from back in the day," Ye Yun said with a smile, gently patting Luo Li.
He had initially wanted to intervene.
However, seeing Luo Li, like a newborn calf unafraid of a tiger, determined to escape the Ghost King—a Half-Step Divine Bridge Mirror expert—Ye Yun became curious to see if she could succeed.
The result was a pleasant surprise.

This terrified him so much his liver and gallbladder felt like they would split, his very soul threatening to scatter.

"So that’s what this is about," the Ghost King thought. He couldn’t help but beat his chest and stamp his feet in frustration, wishing he could kill those Human cultivators outside.
Such a minor figure had actually led to his demise. He truly couldn’t resign himself to this.
Ye Yun continued to sneer.
"Given your turtle-speed recovery, it would have been impossible to recuperate without using a human candle two or three times. So, I injected some recovery Spiritual Power into you beforehand, allowing you to awaken earlier this time."
Hearing Ye Yun’s words, the Ghost King’s eyes filled with terror, as if he had been plunged into an icy abyss.

Now, he was doomed. But on the verge of death, he still wanted to make one last gamble.
"Kill him for me!" the Ghost King shrieked, ordering all the evil ghosts under his command to attack.
These evil ghosts were mostly under his control. Hearing his command, they shrieked and surged forward like a black cloud, blanketing the entire canyon.
He then took advantage of the chaos to flee into the distance.
"Child’s play," Ye Yun scoffed, blowing out a breath gently.
This breath, like a mystical flame, carried intense heat. It transformed into a vast, sky-covering flaming net, enveloping all the evil ghosts descending into the canyon.
Accompanied by blood-curdling screams and SIZZLING sounds, these thoroughly wicked evil ghosts instantly turned into blue smoke and dispersed.
Watching the Ghost King flee into the distance, Ye Yun gave a cold smile and blew another puff of clear air.
This puff of clear air instantly descended upon the cloud of black mist. Then, a miserable shriek was heard from within.
The entire cloud of black mist also transformed into blue smoke and disappeared.
Merely by blowing two puffs of clear air, all the evil ghosts of Ten Thousand Ghost Ridge vanished.
Seeing this scene, all the surrounding Human cultivators were utterly dumbfounded, standing frozen like statues, their minds reeling in shock.
