The verdant barrier from the Source of Life had remained the entire time in Jian Chen’s soul. It had never lowered its defences. When the Ancestor of the Clear and Cloudy’s secret technique struck, it immediately shook the verdant barrier.
“It’s happened again. Soul attacks at this strength can instantly kill that demonic cultivator,” the Source of Life called out. This was no longer a regular soul attack, but a secret technique of rather high quality. It was extremely powerful.
The Ancestor of the Clear and Cloudy stared at Jian Chen closely. Shortly afterwards, a hint of surprise appeared in his eyes. He noticed that Jian Chen had only furrowed his brows. It did not have much of an effect on him.

At this moment, the formation left behind by the Ancestor of the Clear and Cloudy rocked violently. It dimmed as if it only needed one last push before crumbling.
Lan Caidie’s expression changed. After using the power of the Remains of the Ghost Immortal, she no longer had the strength to launch another strike.
“Fellow Yang Yutian, I’ve come to help set you free.” At this moment, another elderly voice rang out. The Heavenloss Master appeared. He gripped a high quality god artifact sword that erupted with blinding light, slashing at the final formation with his full strength.
