Since then, Xiera has persevered in her studies. But, that's still not enough. My test paper or should I say the test paper that she answered always passes quizzes and exams. And of course Xzyrile always passes the exams and quizzes that I answer.
Yeah, she improved, but like I said it's still not enough. So I still didn't stop on what I always do whenever we have exams, quizzes and stuffs.
Several times she tried to stop me but I did not stop. I say I will be angry with her and I will ignore and I won't talk to her for weeks if she'll stop me. I don't want the king and queen of hell to be angry with her the same way they felt for me.
Well, they expect very very much at her and the king and queen(referring to mom and dad) will be really disappointed when her tests and quizzes suddenly go down. I told her several times that I would just tutor her but she didn't want to, she said she wanted to learn on her own, so I let her.
But, now it’s weird. She had been holding her since like forever, now she's looking at her phone while smiling like an idiot. She was typing something on her cellphone, as if she was texting with someone. It's good that mom and dad didn't see her like that, because they left early and didn't catch up with us in the morning.
I grabbed the cellphone in her hand.
"Dev! Give me back my phone!" She said looked annoyed. Now she's shouting at me, huh? Very unusual.
I look at her suspiciously. "Not unless you said who's your texting with" I told her. Then I noticed that she seemed suddenly nervous.
Yep! I'm convinced! There's something going on here.
"A-Ahh! It's Jhana! My bestfriend, hehe" I raised an eyebrow at her. What a terrible liar you are, Xiera.
I don't believe it.
"Really? As far as I know, you don't have a friend named 'Jhana'." I said sarcastically. I know everyone of her friends. And I don't know anyone named Jhana. If I know she only made up with that name.
"Huh? Ah, my new friend, we only met yesterday, hehe"
"Tsk! Maybe you're in love! Don't hide from me, you're too obvious, you're as clear as the glass, and also I know you very well Xiera. You can't hide anything from me. So who's the guy?"
"Nothing really, Dev!" So you'll keep being stubborn huh? Well then.
"Ah-huh? Ok, I will keep your phone" I said. And turned away from her and walked away. But she stopped me.
"Okay! Okay! Fine. I will say it now!" I stopped walking and grinned, I didn’t face her first.
"What's the name of this lucky guy?" (So that I can punch him right now)
"Clay. Clay Phineas Johnson. And yeah, he's already my boyfriend" my eyes widened. Well, I didn't expect that answer. I expect it to be just a crush, fling you know. But...boyfriend?! Boyfriend...what?!
I confronted her.
"Do you even know the consequences of what you did, Xiera?! Mom and Dad will be disappointed in you!" I said feeling annoyed. Who won't?!
What's with that man that he captured Xiera's heart? For goodness sake! We're only 14! We're still so young. I understand Xiera acting like this since she don't know about love that much, and I clearly understand if she wants to explore. But...we're still young.
This is the first time I get annoyed with her....so much! I don't wanna be judgemental but I just can't help it now! How could her! After what I've done for her now she's ruining everything just because of a boy?! Just...how could her?!
"I know, Dev. I know. But I-I love him, Dev. Please understand me." She said sadly. She knew how much expectation our parents have on her. And yet...
"How long have you been with that jerk?" I asked him.
"O-One year, Dem. It's our a-anniversary now" she said that made me shocked even more.
What the?! One year? ONE YEAR?!
Why, I didn’t notice it right away?! Why just now?! That's why she was so happy earlier. Because it's their ANNIVERSARY! Is that why her scores go up a bit because she's inspired?! Come on! I know that boy, he's in our class. But I don't talk to him. We're not friends for me to talk to him, y'know. I don't talk to someone whom I don't care about.
