I woke up when I suddenly hear a knock on my door. I didn't realize that I fell asleep while crying. I stretch up first before heading to the door and opened it.
As I open the door, I saw mommy with a big smile plastered on her face. I tried to smile back at her, cause I actually still can't be able to smile like I used to because of what I'm facing right now.
But all I know, what's happening right now is all my fauly. If only I didn't...
We sad on my bed.
“My daughter, Xiera. I want to tell you something, that'll make you very happy!” mommy said. Make me happy? So, did they finally sort things out with my twin?
“You've already sort things out with Xyna?” I asked. Mommy suddenly frowned. ‘Oh it's not it?’
“Don't be ridiculous, Xiera. Please don't say her name in front of me, you're just making me remember how disrespectful and she is! What a disgrace” I secretly clenched my fist and gritted my teeth, but I immediately calmed myself down.
‘It's always like this’
“So, what is it mommy?” I asked.
She smiled sweetly at me. “We've worked this issue out. Luckily we found an easy way to work this out”
‘Easy way? How?’
My face lightened. “Really?!”
Mommy nodded at me. “Yes my daughter, everything is fine. You don't have to worry anymore. Your name was all cleaned, we didn't expect this to be so fast”
But...how did they find a way to worked this out this fast? It's not like I don't trust and believe on them it's just that, the issue just started a few hours ago and they already worked things out so quickly. Just how? Did they bribed the media or something else?
“But... how did you able fix it this fast?” I wondered.
“Come with me. Let's go down to the sala and watch the news. You will see what happened.” mommy said. I just nodded.
We got up and went to my door to get out. I closed the door of my room first before we went downstairs. I don't know but my heart suddenly beats so fast. I'm nervous. I don't know, I think they did something awful. Something not so righteous.
As we went close to the sala, I'm starting to hear the sound of the tv, but still can't hear it clearly. But to what I'm hearing, it's the 12A news.
As we walk closer to the sala my heart keeps beating so fast and getting even more fast as we finally entered the salas. I felt like I'm going to be upset. I felt like I won't like what I will hear.
And now I can finally hear the news that was on the TV clearly.
“News Flash: Famous actress and boxer Xyna Alegre claimed that she is the woman in the trending scandal video right now wherein she's having sex with an unknown man. Lately, if some of you still don't know, a video—a scandal video was just suddenly posted on facebook by an unknown account called Freaking Ballade it exploded like a bomb until it spread and many people watched. Recently, the actress voluntarily did an interview and claimed that she was the woman in the video. We could not get her explanation because she suddenly left during the interview without a proper explanation to her side...” to what I've heard tears starting to welled up in my eyes.
‘N-No. NO! Why, my twin? Why Dev?
“Is this the easy way you're saying? Y-You made D-Dev announce to the whole w-world that she's that w-woman in that s-scandal video even though it's m-me? You made her ruin herself j-just for me?" I said trying to restrain my emotion.
I clenched my fist.
They knew they Dev love me so much that she will do everything for me, so they took advantage of it! H-How could they...how could they do this to her?
“O-Oh, why, Xiera? Aren't you happy that that issue has been fixed? You're already out of this issue, no one will gonna suspect that you're—”
“Did you?!” I can't help but shout.
“Yes, we ordered Xyna to take that issue for you so your reputation won't be damage. Afterall, after all the issue she'd been through this is also just one of it. She can get rid of this in no time and peoppe will forget it after some time. Let it go, Xiera. You should still be happy-"
“No! NO! I will never be happy! My reputation?! Maybe your reputation! Fuck that reputation of yours! I will never be happy with what you did! You shouldn't have ordered Dev to do that! You shouldn't have made that happen to her! Didn't you think that she's also your child, not only me?! She's also a human not some animal just like you think of her! She has feelings too! And I know she is also hurting by what you are doing and what you are saying to her! Didn't you even think that... it will also damage her reputation not just damage but will totally ruined her! People will think of her as if she's some kind of animal just like what you think she is. People will look at her differently. She will look like she's the bad guy in everyone's eyes!” I bursted my emotions. They were surprised.
I didn’t interfere with them before in what they were doing to Dev. But it's different now. What they did now is not righteous. What they did now crossed the line.
“W-What's wrong with you Xiera? She did that to repay you. Because you've been kind to her since back then. You always gave her clothes and bags before. You're even teaching her—"
“Wrong! You're wrong! How could you say that if you know nothing about everything? You never have the right to say she's indebted to me! Because all that time. It's me! I'm the STUPID one, I'm that fool you're saying! If it wasn't for her I would not have stand on my own like I do now! WHY?! Because my marks should have been her MARKS, AND MY MARKS should have been her marks! Because she always exchanges test papers and quizzes with me. So that I won't receive any of your punishment because of my failed marks. So, that time I should be the one hearing that painful words. I should be the one getting beaten and hurt by you, not Dev! Not Dev, not my twin, who is always studying in the corner all the time without you noticing it. Not her who just does that just to save me from getting hurt by bearing all that suffering, even though she knows she won't get anything in return! Not her, who only did was to love you. LOVE US! I tried saying it to you so many times but Dev always stopping me from doing it, but I still tried. When I said it, you don't believe it you even laugh at me because you thought I was lying and just did that to save Dev from misery” I sobbed.
I saw mommy's knees trembled and it lookss like she'll collapse at any time. Daddy supports him.
“N-No, t-that's not true. Why when we kicked her out, why was your grade still the same?” I laugh sarcastically.
"Thanks to Dev, again! She forced to teach me. Even though I refused a few times, because I was ashamed, she was persistent, she still DID EVERYTHING to teach me. She tried to teach me but my brain is the problem that time, even though I study and study hard, my marks only stays the same. And when you kicked out Dev? I did everything until we became equally smart! I review every subjects everyday over and over again so that I can remember it, I made Xyna my inspiration, and it just happened. Now tell me? Who is debt with?! DIDN'T I?! Then you made her do that and said she must do it to atleast repay me. I'm ashamed! I'm so fucking ashamed of you! For goodness sake! Dev has a boyfriend! What does everyone will think of her? That not only she's slut, she's also a two-timer?!That she has no dignity?! Are you happy, now?! Are you happy to see your daughter, ruined herself because of us!” My eyes glazed over at them.
I saw mommy collapse, his knees didn't take it anymore. I was surprised when she suddenly started crying. “I-I'm sorry, Xyna. I-I'm sorry I didn't know.”
“Your sorry can do nothing! It all happened! What shouldn't have been happened to her... has already happened!” I let out a exasperated sigh before turning my back on them and headed to the stairs to go up to my room.

I answered the call. Agatha is calling.
“Why, Agatha?”
[Come here now to Xy's house, Angel]
“Why, Aga did something happen?”
[Yes, Angel. So come here, I'll explain what happened later]
“Oh, okay, okay, I'm on my way” I said and turned off the call. I'm worried about Dev, maybe something bad happened to her!
“D-Did something happen to X-Xyna?”
“It's none of your business” I sarcastically said to them before leaving the mansion immediately. Mansion where two most evil persons I know live.
