My face lit up and it was as if a lightbulb shone in my head when I remembered something like this.
I remember this happened in a hollywood movie that I've watch. The girl was stuck in the
middle of the zipline, just like me. She was scared because if she fell from that zipline, she
will die because she will fell from where the alligators lives, waiting for her to be their feast.
Those whom with her could do nothing because they also did not know what to do.
Then, the girl think of a brilliant idea. She swing and swing herself, while holding tightly to
the rope, praying her plan to work. When she swing herself for the third time, she made
herself out of where she was stuck- at the middle of the zipline, and safely landed on the
other side where her friends are waiting for her.
I took a deep breath repeatedly to calm and prepare myself from what I will do.
I know it's dangerous but I need to take the risk. If I failed then I die. If l die, then it's over.
it's not like my death will be that big deal, because it is no big deal.
By the way, Iet's get back to what I am going to do.
I closed my eyes tightly for a few seconds.
I held the rope tightly then gently swing myself. It's still swinging weakly because I'm just
adjusting.
I took a deep breath again and swing myself with more force.
“XY/NADDY/DEV!” they shouted again. Maybe they already noticed what I was planning to do.
Even with my back turned I knew there was a trace of concern on their faces.
For the third time, I swing myself with even more force. But the force doesn't still enough for me to get out from where I stuck.
They shouted again.
“Xy, are you crazy?! What you're doing is too dangerous! Stop now! Let's just wait for the rescuers!” I heard Dwyne shouted.
“Dev, the help will be here soon! So stay there! Don't force it, it's too dangerous!” Xiera
shouted too.
I can't help but to rolled my eyes. Will they shut up?! I'm trying to focus here in surviving my
shitty life.
I didn't listen to what they're saying and just concentrate myself.
I held the rope more tightly.
I swing with much more force than the last. I can here them shout my name again.
But as I swing for the forth time, I was luckily get out from where I was stuck, and it
continues to go to the other side of the zipline.
When I finally reached the other side, the so-called help arrived.
I can't help but to rolled my eyes, just what the actual fuck?! They'd just arrive when I
already get myself out?! Like seriously?! They are like the police, where only always arrives
after the accident/incideng or the crime happened.
But that's okay, atleast I get myself out.
“Miss Xyna, are you okay?” one if the staff asked.
“Luckily, I'm still alive” I said rudely as I removed the harness and helmet from my body.
They apologized to me but I could do nothing but to forgive them.
What else I can do? It already happened. Besides, they are not Flash so they can't get there
quickly.
Tsk! Nevermind. It's not that big deal, tho.

“Hilary! Are you sure you don't know what those idiots were up to and they left all of a sudden” I asked.
She averted her eyes. “I don't really know, Naddy. They didn't told me.” she said.
I mentally rolled my eyes. I know she's lying, but it's okay. I will know what they're up to sooner.
“Hmm, okay” I just said.
We girls were all soaking here in the hot spring. Yes only us girls, because the boys are not here, like I said. I don't know, what they're up to and they suddenly left us with such a lame alibis. Dwyne's three idiotic friends left after we went snorkeling. Now Dwyne and Axry left after the accident that happened earlier on the zipline.
Their alibis is they said they will do something important on the main resort, and they didn't told us what that is. Not even a clue.
What is surprising, why's Axry included? As far as I know, he and Dwyne are not close and not any of his friends. So, why does he include.
“Hey, Sane. Tell me about yourself so we can get to know you better,” Freya said to Sane. Yes, Sane is with us. We included her because she is also a friend of Axry. And one more thing, I don't know why I also feel comfortable with her. Maybe because she's also kind? Like Xiera, Freya, and Axry?
Sane smiled. “Hai! I mean of course. For a good start, I will introduce myself again. I am Jasmine Resco, Sane is my nickname. I will turn 21 this December. And I was an ... adopted child of Resco Family. Mother Theresa said that a woman left me in the church when I am still a baby, that I believe to be my mother. Then when I turned 10 years old, the Resco family adopted me and treated me like their own daughter,” we were surprised.
‘Nothing hurts more than being abandoned by your own parents. Why bear a child, when you have no intention to raise it '
“Oh, Sane. I didn't — I don't. I-I'm so sorry. I must not ask you about it, maybe you're still sensitive with it” Freya said guiltily, but Sane just smiled at her .
“It's okay. No need to apologize. I am not that sensitive with the topic, anyway. So I'll continue. Mother Theresa said that my supposedly mother looked rich so they are confused why did they left me there if money is not the problem. At first I felt angry, but later on it just turned to hate. Because, come on! No child will be happy if your parents left you like you were ... nothing but a piece of trash. But, at the same time I felt thankful to them” she said. My forehead creased.
'Why would she be thankful for her parents who just left her like a trash? Is she insane?'
“Why?” I asked. Again, she smiled genuinely. Why is she like that? Why is she always smile like nothing happened?
“Because if it wasn't for them I wouldn't met kind people. I wouldn't met a real friend. And most of all I wouldn't met mama and papa who still continue to show their love and care for me. Even though, I don't know my parents. I never felt empty and lonely. Because there was Mother Theresa, my friends in the orphanage. And most of all my adoptive parents who always made me feel complete” Sane said while still blinking the eyes.
I secretly let out a smirk.
Lucky her. Even though her parents abandoned her for leaving her in a church, she felt joy and love. Even though she doesn’t know her parents there are her adoptive parents who fill the love she needs. Unlike me, I grew up with my parents. I knew them and used to spend time with them every day but ... I never felt their love for me. Or I never felt love from the people around me, except Xiera. My friends betrayed me (except Axry) back then. Then my parents hate me to the moon and back.
What's the use to know your parents, if you never feel their love? What's the use that you know your parents, if they only made your life miserable.
I rather be an orphan who lives in an orphanage, rather than to be with my parents. Why? Atleast in the orphanage, I am not alone. I didn't feel miserable and incomplete. Maybe atleast I felt love that I long from my parents for a long time. But not now. I had lost all my hope that they would ever love me. I don't think I'll can even forgive them. With all that happened and they did to me, can I still accept it and just forgive them like that?
Sane continued to tell stories about her life. She said she first met Axry at the gaming zone or arcade when she was 11 and Axry is 12. They become friends for a long time, until they migrated to Japan and she studied there until she graduated.
“Cool! You just met Axry again?” Xiera asked.
She laughed. “Yes, yes. We were shocked to see each other here. But I was shocked more because—” she was interrupted by a call.
~ They never saw us comin ',' til they hit the floor ... they just keep begging for more— ~
Hilary gshow us a peace sign before answering the call.
“Hello, brother? Oh, it's done... that's good brother... just wait for us there .... Yes, I'll say ... bye” she ended the call.
“Hehehe, they said they already finished what they're doing, guys” she said. I felt the urge to ask her again if what are those boys doing, but I didn't continued. Hilary will surely deny what she knows again.
