So, as you know, my parents are known as one of the tycoons here aside from being a 'very good' lawyers.
But despite of their good reputation, they're keeping a secret and it is none other than me. As far as I know, when my witchy-bitchy mom's pregnant, people don't know that it's a twin. All they know is that Xiera is their one only child. They don't really ashamed of me, isn't it? *please note the sarcasm*
I decided to call Xiera. We haven't talked for the time being. We're both busy. So.. I just miss my twin.
Xiera answered finally after a few rings.
[Hello, Dev?] Xiera said on the other line.
“Hello”
Dev is what Xiera calls me. Short for Devon. Almost everyone calls me Xy or Xyna, so she just called me Dev because no one is calling me that nickname and she said she wants to call me a unique nickname, so she chose calling me Dev.
I noticed that the place where Xiera was, was noisy. And she sounds a little bit tipsy—drunk. It only means only one thing ....
Bar.
'What the hell is she doing in a bar?! Does she have a problem?’
“Where are you right now, Xiera?”
I still asked her because I want it to come out of her mouth that she really is in a bar.
Xiera's in trouble! Bad people always are in the bar. Plus, she has a low tolerance for alcohol. Freaking hella-shit! What went into Xiera's brain again? If she's already drunk by this time, she really is in trouble! Because someone might take advantage on her!
[Ahh, we’re at the b-bar, Dev. They decide to celebrate my s-success, because I closed one of the difficult cases I handled. Then I-I just go with the flow]
Like I said lately, Xiera took the law course when she was in college. Mom and dad had a high expectations on her, so she followed their footsteps as a lawyer. And me? I took business management, my dream is to build my own business. But until now I haven’t done or even started it because I’m too busy. For now, acting is my first priority, apart from the fact that I also make a lot of money in showbiz, I also enjoy it.
“Which bar?” I asked her worriedly.
[A-At Achilles Bar, D-Dev! (Oh, let's cheers, Era! Cheers!!!)] I even heard the voice of a woman who I think are one of Xiera's friends.
“Wait me there. I'll fetch you—” I was cut off when Xiera suddenly turned off the call.
I don't want to be hanged up by someone, but I'll let this pass knowing that my twin is in trouble. Alright! I'm being paranoid. But you can't blame me. Xiera is the most important person for me.
Even though my body's tired and still aching because of a lot of takes we take earlier, I immediately got up again and quickly got dressed. I can't leave wearing a pajama, I'll just look stupid.
After I got dressed, I immediately went straight to my small parking lot here and got in my car then drove immediately to Achilles Bar. I know where it was, it's just near here.
When I got to Achilles Bar I parked my car on one side and immediately went inside the bar. I don't have time to go to the parking lot anymore, I'm worried about Xiera that maybe something bad will happen to her.
I run inside the bar.
I scanned my eyes on the whole place to look for Xiera. And then I saw her—them, from not far away. The others were lying on the floor, the others had their heads on the table.
I went towards their direction. But before I even reached their table I saw three men coming towards their table too. Oh no!
“Don't you dare!” I threatened the three men while looking at them wickedly.
I even heard someone whistled.
“You have a very seductive body, miss!” one of the men said. Whatta pervert.
I glared at them. Their faces seem also familiar to me. But wait, how can he say I'm sexy? Unless ...
I immediately looked at what I'm wearing. Oh, fuck!
So stupid of me, really! I'm only wearing a spaghetti shirt and a denim shorts! In my haste earlier I did not realize what I was wearing.
I just rolled my eyes at them and gave them a dirty-finger.
“Woah, she's tough, bro. That's what I like!” said the other one.
“Tss” I snorted and turned my back on them. But before I could get my twin and leave, I heard a familiar voice.
“Bro! Are you chick hunting again?” he asked his colleagues, which made me turn to the man who was surprised when he saw me, as well as me.
“Xyna?” he said, shocked and surprise is written all over his face.
“What are you doing here?” he asked me, but before I could answer one of his COMPANIONS spoke.
“You know her?” a man with a black jacket asked.
“Don't you recognize her bro? She's the famous actress Xyna Alegre. The leading lady of my new project! (movie)” he explained.
He looks okay now, huh? He was sooo quiet earlier, that it looks like he had a very heavy problem and now looks like he's already okay.
'He only needs to go to a bar to get back to sanity? Tss'
Suddenly their eyes widened as if they saw a ghost.
“Woah, it's her/idol?!” they said in unison with shock expression on their face. I arched my brow.
“Who're you?” I asked.
“I'm Rave Faulkner, actor” a man in his black jacket said.
“I'm Donald Lancaster, model” the man who whistled earlier said.
“I'm Andrew Lamperouge, an actor. At your service idol!” a man who looked like a playboy said. He even winked and kissed the back of my palm, causing me to feel goosebumps.
I simply wiped the bottom of my palm in my shorts.
“Why are you here wearing ... like that? Unless, you're—” I cut off what Dwyne was going to say before he finished.
“Of course not! I don't have time to explain, just help me lift this drunken twin of mine first” I said and pointed my twin.
They looked at it.
“She looks like our idol!” Donald.
“Obviously, it's her twin” Andrew said with a duh tone.
“Shh!” Dwyne stopped them. Thank goodness!
So, they helped me carry Xiera to my car.
“Thanks!” I said before getting into my car and drive away.
She will stay at my house tonight. I don't want to take her to their house—mansion because I still don't want to see them. Maybe I won't be able to control myself if they say something bad to me, again. Because, I'm not the same person I was before. I changed. And it's because of them.
