Everything returned back to normal. Not until something happened.
The most awaited part.
On Friday at midnight, her mother just yelled for her dad to hurry as she was lying by their bed. Her father hurried, and Aurora peeked also to see her mother’s water had just broken. Excitement and panic instantly washed over her and her dad was carrying her mother to the car now as her things were already prepared last week.
Her mom was screaming and yelling in pain, her face not that drawable now.
Her father glanced at her and she helped him open the door and they were now in the car. Her father looked like he was panicking but trying hard to keep his cool. He then stepped on the gas and drove all the way to the hospital.
All the while, Aurora stayed beside her mother for support as she held her hand and squeezed it. Good thing Aurora has high pain tolerance so much as it hurts her since her mother had a very hard grip and was strong, she just clenched her teeth and dealt with it.

They arrived after ten minutes at the hospital and she endured it all the way there.
“Please, do everything to lessen my wife’s pain and ensure you'll have a safe delivery.” Her father ordered as if the doctors were his employees.
The female doctor, as her father requested, came in, “We can handle it nowhere sir. The nurses just trust us, nurse, get them to the waiting room.”
Her father gazed at her mother and kissed her forehead. They instantly prepped her mom in the labor room and Aurora and her father were put in the waiting room.
She sat by the chair while her father was pacing back and forth, looking so distracted.
“Dad, mom will be okay,” Aurora tried to calm her father down but he just nodded, still pacing back.
She thought of ways to divert his attention and asked, “By the way dad, what’s the gender? You didn’t even do any gender reveal or something.”

Her father shrugged, “Your mom wants it to be special so she chose to hide it. She and the doctor only know the gender.”
She shook her head, chuckling at how her mother made her dad obey her that easily. Her mother really has the power. “Poor you dad, but I’m sure we’ll know it soon.”
“Let’s see.”
Just then, a female nurse in scrubs came out. “Mr. Makarov?”
Her father instantly stood upright and faced the nurse with so much alertness, “Yes? Is there something wrong?”
“We need you inside to have your wife hold your hand for support, is that alright?” The nurse asked and her father nodded. Now Aurora was left alone with her thoughts.
SHe’s feeling a bit worried as her mother first had pregnancy risks…but then her mother is a strong independent woman.
I’m sure she can handle this.

Aurora was too close to bursting the door open and watching everything happen so she’ll feel relieved but then the door opened, revealing her father.
Sweat was all over his face as if he’s the one who just labored.
Aurora gave her a look, “So? How was it? Any news dad?” She asked, “Is it a girl or a boy?
Her father looked so teary-eyed, breathing deeply and panting as if he just run some miles before smiling widely, “Both, my dear. They are twins…I am blessed with two boys!”
Aurora gasped, her eyes widening before jumping to her dad and embracing him in a hug, cheering with him.
But then, felt her father losing balance and she watched as he slowly fell to the floor, his head almost hitting the ground if it weren’t for her quick reflexes.
She looked at his dad in utmost shock, not believing this. His father, in his fifties, is here in her arms, just fainted.
Aurora didn't know if she should laugh at the situation, find it cute, or just be worried. As always, her father is so overdramatic like this. But then she couldn’t blame him for this. Even she was shocked to know it was twins.
She was only asking for one sibling yet her parents just gave her two siblings to take care of.
Aurora asked for some nurses to help her and they helped her dad and monitored his vitals.
She’s sure as hell that with the emergence of these twin siblings, their house will soon be full of mischief and will be lively again. Just imagining it makes her giddy and look forward to the future.
