“Then prove it, Reagan Hill.” She said, teasing him and enjoying this side of him. She never saw this side of him, so scared for her dad. Good, he should be. the moment her dad would know about this leg incident of hers, she couldn’t even imagine what her father would do to him.

And goodness, by heavens, the damn Reagan answered the phone call of her father.
“Oh, good morning, Mr. Makarov. You called?” He spoke and took a pause, he glanced at her, “Oh, you’re daughter? She’s in good hands,” then another pause, “Oh, she’s sleeping.”

That made Reagan give her a death glare and put his hands on her mouth to stop her from speaking more but it was too late. Her father seemed to hear her voice and was demanding to talk to her judging by the grim look on his face.
He scoffed and handed her the phone. “Don’t you dare tell him?” He whispered to her in a low voice and she shrugged, not making any promises.
“How is your vacation, sweetie?” Asked her dad from the phone. Reagan was staring at her with wide eyes, almost begging her not to tell the truth. This is fun, almost torturing him.
She twirled her hair, pausing for a few seconds for suspense, “It was good, dad.”

Reagan cocked an eyebrow, seemingly surprised by this. He didn't know about her skills yet. That would surprise him then.
“Forget about me, how are you and mom, dad?” She said, redirecting the words.

“Then what do you want me to say? Spill it, mom.” Really, her parents were never like this before... what’s this sudden change…she’s getting irritated and curious with each passing second.
“I’m pregnant.” Her mom suddenly blurted out and it took her a few minutes to realize. Reagan came closer to her to ask what was happening, quite alarmed at her reaction.

“Yes, my dear.” Her mom assured her, “You’ll definitely have a sibling.”
She pumped her fist in the air and excitedly jumped up and down like a child. The dream she was having for many years now. “Finally! took you two long enough!”
Tsk, she just went away and this two goes on didn’t lose the chance and make some babies. To think she just disappeared for a few days. Guess this vacation of hers is paying off and worth it.
She could sense her mom blushing through the phone, “Stop teasing me, Aurora.”

“I just want to discuss some things for your safety.”
She sighed, handing back the phone to Reagan who looked a bit nervous to take it. “Yes, Mr. Makarov?”
She wanted to eavesdrop but Reagan didn’t let her and said it was a boy’s conversation.
The call ended after a few minutes and Aurora asked Reagan about what they talked about, to which he replied with a smile and told her to go back to sleep so she can recover soon.
Days passed by and it was three days since she stayed at Reagan’s grandmother’s house. All she did was stare blankly at the window and sleep and eat and drink her medicine and tea. She would take a shower and Reagan let her borrow his mother’s clothes, good thing they are both the same size.
Everything has been fine, Lola Nanding is so sweet and accomodating, and Reagan was there to give her usual meals and tease her a bit. But something is lacking. it’s a bit boring here…well, she’s in a province and had nothing to do of course…

“Careful, princess, you just recovered.” He shook his head, contemplating until sighing and giving in to her puppy eyes, “Fine, I’ll take you somewhere to ease your boredom.”
