CEO's Cold But Sweet Wife
Kristi's whole body got stiffly unable to move as if the whole world was turning upside down.
In front of that lady, there was a man in a black suit with a white shirt in a black tie. It looked so perfect on him as if it was made for only him.
His bewitching ocean blue eyes with perfect upward eyebrows shape, Greek nose, intriguing sexy bow-shaped lips with the perfect jawline and modern pompadour hairstyle, he looks handsome and stunning as if his whole being was created itself by nature of beauty.
But— He had an extremely cold aura around him as if, anybody could get frozen instantly without realizing it. It was as if, he was only being in his world, and body else is allowed.
His eyes, it was as if, warmth has lost and cold has taken its place. Yet, his eyes were mesmerizing.
With all the captivating looks of his before Kriti eyes, she knew with just a glance, Who was it!
He was the only person, she had always wished to never see or never be seen by.
The cold sweet took the place in her forehead, wild anxious thoughts over her mind, lips trembling, body shuddering, and her heart, soul almost out of her body as if the whole world was shattering into pieces.
She took two, three steps back, unable to accept it, as she kept shaking her head.
“No, t-this is not... not true—” She dumped onto something hard but soft.
“Kristi, What happened?” It was Simon.
He frowns “What happened!? Why do you look so pale? Is everything okay? You're sweating. What's wrong?” He was anxious.
Kristi immediately wiped her sweat from her forehead with a slight smile “Oh that, I... I feel a little sick I mean, I... I feel nausea.”
She knew, she can't lie to Simon, but if the lie is about her health, she also knew, Simon won't try to comprehend the situation and
immediately take the action.
It was just as she thought.
Simon anxiously recommended “Then we shall go hospital now. Come let's go.”
“N-No, Don't worry. Everything is alright. I mean, I can go by myself. You don't have to worry. This is an important day, and you're chef's head. You can't just go with me. I'm just a subordinate and even if I go, it won't really affect the work but if you go, a problem will arise. To the boss, to the restaurant and to Chef Emma and Chef Jack. You know, I don’t like that, right? So please, don’t worry. I'll go by myself.”
“But…” Simon was still worried.
“Don't worry. I... I'll take my leave now. Please inform the boss and others that I apologize for leaving in the middle. I'll go then. Take care.”
Kristi hurriedly left without letting Simon speak up.
Simon wanted to follow her but he knew that, if he does that and anything bad will happen, Kristi will blame herself and will be sad.
Sad? Yeah, That’s the only thing, he doesn’t want to see in her face ever.
~Outside Restaurant~
Kristi was running hastily. His face was flashing before her eyes visibly.
Her breathing was heavy “No, It can't be. That's definitely not true. Y-Yeah... That’s not true. I'm... I'm mistaken. I... Kn...ow...” She falls on her knee gasping for air.
She wanted to believe that she was mistaken but, the more his face flashes before her eye, the more she couldn’t decline it.
His beautiful, bewitching ocean blue eyes, just like her son, his sexy thin lips, just her son, and his whole bring like her son, Feng, as if both of them were the small and big versions of each other.
So... After all this, How could she just decline the fact.
That Man, the young and successful CEO of a famous Adler group company all over the world, Leon Adler, was unexpectedly the father of her child, Feng.
He was the man with whom she slept five years ago when she was unconscious, the man who took her first time.
The memory about Rick, Silu and Lily appeared into her mind visibly as if, everything that happened was yesterday when they betrayed her trust.
She couldn't breathe. The crystal tears took a place in her eyes, lips trembling and her body shivering as if her soul was leaving her body.
No matter what, she didn't want to accept the fact.
She was frightened that, if he find out about her child, he will definitely take him away but if not, it was a good thing for Kristi, but what if, he really takes him away from her?
The young successful CEO and richest guy, who will definitely take her son away as if it's nothing if he wants.
Even if she fight for custody for her child, she won't win for sure. Why? Cause, as long as you have money, you can fight for long until you win, that's how this cursed world is right now and that's the bitter truth but Kristi— She even barely have money to take care of herself and her child. There was no way to win the case. The only thing that was roaming into her mind was to run away far away from this guy and from the country where he live.
~At restaurant~
"Leon! Have this red lobster. This is the main dish of this restaurant." The lady recommended with a smile on her face as she put her hair back to her ear.
"Anna!" His voice was serene yet cold and dominating "Stop talking nonsense, get to the point."
The corner of her lips curved up "You're cold as always, Leon." She then cut a small piece of red lobster on a spare plate perfectly with a slender hand and put it in front of him "Try this! I came last time, I honestly loved it actually. But that was the first and last time actually. And right now," Her affectionate gaze falls on him "It's the second time. Oh, Have it. You'll love it and—"
His cold voice reached her ear with no interest in her word "Get to the point."
She then sighed "Get to the point, Huh? Alright." She crossed her sexy legs and her hand rested on her lap gently "So, I won't cancel our engagement."
