Back then, Xiaochan entered this nature reserve just because he desired something from these two villages. Thus, he kept lingering around them, instigating conflicts between them.
However, for some reason, Xiaochan, who always acted recklessly, never attempted to forcefully attack these two villages, merely lingering around, seeking opportunities to enter them.
One village is called ’Pygmy Canyon’, while the other is called ’Shrew Villa’.
Pygmy Canyon, as the name suggests, is a canyon with many pygmy rats.
The so-called pygmy rat is the smallest species of mice, also known as sweet-mouthed mice.
These small mice should originally be at the low end of the food chain and would not be worth Wen Wen’s attention even if numerous.
However, the pygmy rats here are different. They migrated here from the U.S.-Canada District over forty years ago.

During that incident, the mutated substance leaked underground and completely polluted the pygmy rat tribe dwelling there.
These pygmy rats grew larger and began to exhibit human-like intelligence. Most importantly, they developed a passion for learning fighting techniques, making every member a master of martial arts.
However, since the U.S.-Canada District views the mutated substance with hostility, these pygmy rats couldn’t survive there and thus migrated to the Polar Bear District.
Among the pygmy rat village, the strongest one is proficient in 127 types of fighting techniques, ranked within the Disaster Upper Order, and in the upper ranks, self-titling as the Pygmy Overlord.
As for Shrew Villa, it was originally not called that but was named Cat Cat Manor.
It was a place where Cat People resided, the same race as those from the Extreme Flavor Tower of the Capital Hunter Association.
This tribe originally lived well here, but since the pygmy rat tribe moved here, they started to feel displeased.
Initially, the two tribes coexisted harmoniously, occasionally holding a "cat and mouse game" to strengthen bonds.
However, as time went by, conflicts increased, with frequent frictions; after all, cats and mice are natural enemies. Within a few years, their relationship became like water and fire, leading to Cat Cat Manor being renamed Shrew Villa.
