After Croselle has acted twice, others should not be careless anymore. Along with the unkillable white mist Andos, four people should be enough to deal with Croselle.
Wen Wen then patted the Ghost Dragon’s head. The massive Ghost Dragon lowered its body and flew rapidly towards the temple.
Outside the temple lay several corpses, some belonging to monsters, some to Demon Hunters, and some to Containment Officers.
Those who transformed these people into corpses were the demon child, resembling a small angel, riding the Magic Dragon, known as Varak. He is among the top of Upper Sequence but still slightly weaker compared to Croselle.
To speak of the depths of the Abyss Eye, it’s indeed astounding. True Sequence Masters of this caliber are considered treasures in other organizations. Yet, even within the Abyss Eye, there are no less than four such Upper Sequence demons.
Seeing Wen Wen flying over, Varak’s expression changed. Finally, a True Sequence Master has got their sights on the ritual scene.
He was much more clear-headed than Andos, knowing he definitely wouldn’t be Wen Wen’s match, but guarding the ritual was his mission, so he faced Wen Wen without fear.
The giant purple Magic Dragon unleashed a dark energy Breath towards Wen Wen and the Ghost Dragon.
A glimmer of cold light flashed in Wen Wen’s eyes as the Blood River Sword rose. He swung the Sword of Intent twice in succession, slicing through the Breath filled with demon energy. Two Sword Qi charged towards Varak atop the Magic Dragon’s head.
Varak let out a sharp cry. His energy connected with the Magic Dragon beneath, a powerful burst of energy exploded outward, remarkably resisting Wen Wen’s first sword, but the second sword followed right after, carving a deep wound on Varak’s body.
The Magic Dragon erupted with powerful energy, supporting Varak who didn’t fall. Although his strength was greatly reduced, he still maintained considerable combat power.
Actually, Varak’s own strength did not reach the level of Haris or Andos, but he had formed a pact with the Magic Dragon beneath him, becoming a Dragon Knight. They can share life and share strength, thus making it into the top echelon of Upper Sequence demons.
These imaginary creatures called dragons from the Inner World currently come in two main types.
One type is like the Magic Dragon, a large lizard with wings referred to as Western Dragon. If you gain recognition from a Western Dragon and form an equal pact with it, you can share life with the Western Dragon, becoming a Dragon Knight.
The other type is like the Ghost Dragon, capable of enlarging, shrinking, ascending, or hiding, often referred to as Eastern Dragon or Divine Dragon. In the context of Eastern Dragons, the term Dragon Knight holds a slightly different meaning.

Back to the main point, after striking Varak with two swords, Wen Wen did not continue to give a fatal blow; he didn’t have the time.
He jumped off the Ghost Dragon and quickly passed by Varak, rushing into the temple’s range.
Strong barriers protected the temple’s surroundings, but they were practically null to Wen Wen. He placed his right hand in front, fully activating the absorption power, and within mere seconds opened a passage for himself, entering the ritual’s range.
Varak attempted to fly over and stop Wen Wen, but suddenly a giant claw descended from the sky, hammering Varak and the Magic Dragon into the ground, leaving a clear dragon-shaped imprint.
The massive body of the Ghost Dragon emerged from the clouds, cutely burping.
This clash of thousands of Supernatural Beings resulted in massive casualties, and the death aura permeating from such abundant deaths made the Ghost Dragon swell.
It curled its claw provocatively at Varak, who had just crawled out from underground, letting out a low growling challenge.
"Little fella, want to spar with me?"
Just as Wen Wen passed through the passage, two large serpents, burning with pale green flames, snarled viciously at his neck.
Wen Wen stretched out his hands, grabbing the heads of the two serpents. Before he could make a move, they exploded, the toxic energy and highly corrosive flames forming a massive fiery tornado, engulfing Wen Wen entirely.
"Foolish biped, how does the taste of Hell’s serpents feel?" Ollie seductively said, watching the fiery whirlwind.
"Such a stink! It reeks! Where did you raise those snakes? Couldn’t it be... ugh!"
The fiery tornado began twisting, with invisible gravity pulling all the toxic flames into a single direction, disappearing into Wen Wen’s black hole-like right hand.
This slow, instantaneously low-lethality attack meant nothing to Wen Wen, instead adding a bit of power for him to counterattack.
The Rune Book floated behind Wen Wen, continuing to pull Lofvis, without losing a trace within this fire.
At this moment, the entire temple was shrouded in dense mist, with a high density of energy around it. This wasn’t comprised of Catastrophe Level Strength but composed of starlight, runes, and the thoughts of 666 individuals. Thus, these things could not be used as nourishment for the Sanctuary.
Even Wen Wen found it difficult to approach the interior, let alone interfere from the side with Demoness Ollie obstructing.
Despite Ollie’s mode of thinking resembling a downright stupid woman, with a lack of intelligence, her power didn’t lack any charge. Breaking through her blockade to disrupt the ritual wasn’t so simple.

Wen Wen’s temple pulsed with anger, although he had understood Ollie’s personality from materials long ago, he still found this woman hard to accept.
To Ollie, demons were considered superior beings, and only those who worship demons had the dignity to be called humans. The rest were merely foolish bipeds.
Therefore, the term "biped" carried a heavily discriminatory undertone.
The most infuriating thing was that Ollie was originally a human herself.
