Catastrophe Containment Facility Chapter 1208

The Hunter Association initially paid no heed to this legend, dismissing it as mere urban myths like those on the federal network—nothing more than baseless tales. It should be noted that most urban legends found on the federal network are false—because the real ones have been removed by technical means. However, when scholars from the Hunter Association discovered numerous, massive footprints ten to dozens of meters across all over the world, they realized this legend was not unfounded. If those gigantic creatures sleeping in the Silent Abyss were truly awakened by the Truth Society, they would emerge through exits from the Silent Abyss around the world into the surface. Those monsters slumbering in the Silent Abyss are at least one hundred meters tall! No matter their abilities, the emergence of countless such monsters cannot be entirely hidden from the public eye! Their numbers are unknown, yet if there are enough, the Hunter Association's longstanding concealment policy regarding ordinary people would completely fail, plunging the world into panic and spawning more monsters. The crucial issue is that the Hunter Association cannot interfere with the Silent Abyss but only await the fateful day. The Truth Society's move hits the Hunter Association's Achilles heel precisely; if those monsters turn out as hypothesized, global order's collapse is inevitable. Had it been before, the Truth Society would almost certainly face no failure. But now the Hunter Association has a countermeasure, which is to restart the New Human Project! No longer concealing the truth from ordinary people, allowing them to understand the world's reality. Ordinary people who become New Humans won't create powerful monsters out of panic, even when confronting the superpower world. At that point, the Hunter Association can focus solely on dealing with their adversaries without worrying about ordinary people's emotions. Srexin had mentioned previously that the Hunter Association used a prophecy-like supreme containment to predict this war's outcome. The result was unfavorable to the Hunter Association; only the New Human Project offers the association a real chance, confirming that the prophecy is coming true here. The New Human Project and the monsters in the Silent Abyss are troubling issues for the Hunter Association; now Wen Wen is most concerned with strengthening the Foundation's defenses. The alliance of secret organizations intends to target the Foundation first; Wen Wen must arm the Foundation thoroughly to avoid his long effort going to waste. The chosen location for the Foundation's headquarters was excellent; there were no residential areas nearby, allowing for large-scale modifications. The central building of the headquarters is encased in a metal shell, already sufficiently defended against Disaster Level monster attacks, but Wen Wen considered it far from enough as their impending enemies might be overwhelmingly powerful. So Wen Wen heavily invested all his Power of Faith into engraving countless defensive runes onto the metal shell of the Foundation. With all the faith expended, the headquarters became an impregnable fortress; even a superpower user of True Order Rank would face challenges causing damage. Such lavish use of Power of Faith might anger some faith-lacking deities to the point of fainting, but Wen Wen cared not, as keeping such power around was more troublesome. Yet merely having strong defenses wasn't enough; Wen Wen also planted special flora around the headquarters and installed super bombs obtained from the Black Night Knight. He arranged the surroundings of the Foundation like a battleground, appearing a bit insane even to his own people. Additionally, Wen Wen began recalling containment officers scattered worldwide to protect the Foundation headquarters. Wen Wen wanted the world to know the Foundation wasn't an easy target, ready to snap a tooth from anyone daring to bite. Moreover, the Association provided corresponding assistance, hiding thousands of Giant Statue Soldiers and numerous superpower users in Qianhe City, where the Magical Beast Star Qilin and Pioneer Six Zero remain concealed within the city. Now Wen Wen instead found himself somewhat anticipating the secret organizations alliance's attack; the trap was set, waiting for them to fall into it. While waiting, Wen Wen didn't stay idle, calling Chu Wei back from training in the Sakura District, issuing him a solo mission. The mission's content was for Chu Wei to go to the Golden Eagle District, find the headquarters of the Blood Clan Thirteen Clans, and turn those Blood Clans against their predecessors. He was to emphatically convey to them not to aid wrongdoing and become enemies with the Hunter Association, as that's a path to doom, promising salvation upon repentance, yada yada... After hearing the mission requirements, Chu Wei looked at Wen Wen as if he were crazy, considering Wen Wen was joking. Nevertheless, under Wen Wen's insistence, Chu Wei set out with his Foul-mouthed Pills in tow. Wen Wen wasn't just fooling around; he had meticulously planned this in his mind. Within Chu Wei's body lay the ancient ancestor of the Blood Clan Thirteen Clans, Blood Emperor Vlad. Perhaps when the moment comes, Chu Wei's presence alone would cause the Blood Clan Thirteen Clans to defect, submitting as Chu Wei's tools. The Blood Emperor Vlad becoming Chu Wei's tool means serving Wen Wen too, so Wen Wen was highly expectant. Even if the vampires reject their ancestor, they would be provoked by Chu Wei into hunting him, which is fine as this could rapidly strengthen Chu Wei. For more chapters visıt novel⦿fire.net Sending Chu Wei out was merely Wen Wen's strategic move; a success would yield substantial returns, while failure wouldn't cost Wen Wen much. After Wen Wen provided the meeting records, the Hunter Association immediately took action. In a sweeping implementation of the New Human Project across the entire Federation, due to pressing time constraints, the strategy was simple and direct. First, they created a hazardous virus rumor that was spreading rapidly; the virus had extreme contagiousness, causing sores on the head and feet, bleeding from all orifices, infertility, women becoming ugly and men shrinking... In short, aside from not dead, everything was frighteningly bad; mere descriptions of the virus sent shivers down anyone's spine, making it the most malevolent virus since humanity's inception. Then, under the guise of the virus, compulsory vaccinations were administered to everyone in the Federation. This so-called vaccine was indeed a seed of Qi; these seeds required just five to seven days to root and germinate, transforming ordinary people into New Humans. With the Hunter Association's full dedication and vigorous cooperation from the Federation, in only five days, nearly the entire Federation's population received the Qi seed vaccination. From this, it's clear the Hunter Association was prepared for large-scale Mainstreaming of the New Human Project. Otherwise, within mere five days, it's impossible to prepare these billions of seed injections. After injections, people were surprised to find previously taboo topics are now less forbidden, along with subtle changes in their bodies.
