Qiao Feiya halted her offensive but maintained a guarded stance.
"This is, uh, cosplay?" Wen Wen joked, but Qiao Feiya remained unresponsive.
"Anyway, don’t worry about how I look. This guise is just to fool that dumb pig. I need him to take me somewhere, so I can’t let you catch him yet."
Qiao Feiya furrowed her brow. Although she was willing to trust Wen Wen, as a Demon Hunter, she couldn’t easily believe Wen Wen’s words, especially since he had just attacked her.

Qiao Feiya brushed her hair aside. Wen Wen gently sniffed; her shampoo had a jasmine scent.
"If you can go, why can’t I? Zhu Pengpei is a high-ranking member of the Yuriano organization. His hideout might just be the entrance to Yuriano. We’ve been searching for this entrance for a long time."
Wen Wen murmured these four words, a sudden realization crossed his face as he understood why Egger’s whereabouts were elusive.
Previously, the Black Night Knight could accurately locate Egger, but when Egger hid on Pengwan Island, the Black Night Knight lost his trail.
Wen Wen had heard of Yuriano’s mysteries, so Egger likely used Yuriano to evade the Black Night Knight’s pursuit.
Realizing this, Wen Wen’s face changed: "We need to move quickly. Yuriano might have means to interfere with tracking; if we delay too long, we might lose them!"
So the two hurriedly chased in the direction Zhu Pengpei fled.

Seeing the suddenly appearing ally truly engaged in a fight with Qiao Feiya, he finally trusted enough to return to Yuriano.
Though he had absolute confidence in Yuriano’s safety, Egger had recently taken refuge there, pursued by a catastrophe-level expert, so Zhu Pengpei had to be cautious.

However, the link between the Sanctuary and Wen Wen was extremely strong, so Wen Wen barely managed to track Zhu Pengpei’s trail.

Only when Wen Wen diminished his perception to the extreme could he detect this faint trace.
