Catastrophe Containment Facility Chapter 1053

Wen Wen was unaware of the massive changes happening in the world. He felt a summons from the Black Robe and entered the Sanctuary, immersing his consciousness into the Black Stone Palace. What surprised Wen Wen was that this time, the Black Stone Palace felt slightly different, not as imposing and solemn as before. Upon entering the palace, Wen Wen saw the Black Robe sitting on a high platform, and his brows furrowed upon seeing his state. The Black Robe’s body lacked its former solidity, and the changes in Supernatural Power also affected the Talami Desert. The monsters in the desert experienced either strength gains or berserk transformations due to the change in energy concentration. This caught the monsters Wen Wen sent out for hunting off guard. They all retreated to the vicinity of the camp, forming a circle to resist the relentless attacks of these monsters. After Wen Wen stepped out and scanned the surroundings, the previously ferocious and rampant monsters suddenly halted. Although their intelligence was low, they instinctively sensed danger and could gauge how dangerous Wen Wen truly was. Once these cowards stopped, Wen Wen took a deep breath, feeling the energy concentration vastly different from before, and let out a comfortable soft hum. For a superpower user, such an environment was like a fish in water, as though an invisible shackle had been lifted from them. However, observing the changes in these monsters revealed that this wasn’t a good thing. In the future, it would become even harder for the Hunters Association to maintain control over the situation. Currently, Wen Wen was unaware of the situation in other parts of the Federation, but he estimated it couldn’t be any better. Suddenly, Wen Wen felt a slight prickling pain between his brows. Having become a True-order Master, his perception had become sharper, and just from that pain, he could discern that someone was watching him. He scanned the area again and, seeing no one, looked up at the sky. The night sky over the desert was somewhat murky, with most stars hidden, save for a single golden Stardust high above. "That’s not a star; that’s a person!" Wen Wen’s left eye gleamed with a mirror-like sheen, and the scene he saw magnified continuously, comparable to a telescope. After enlarging the view several times, Wen Wen finally saw what that Stardust was. It was a stunning woman sitting cross-legged in the void, none other than the Morning Star’s Goddess of War, Ishna. She rested her chin on her hand, watching below with interest, and when her gaze met Wen Wen’s, both awkwardly looked away. Ishna averted her gaze because she felt embarrassed being caught spying. As for Wen Wen, the angle was a bit awkward, making it seem like he was peeking under Ishna’s skirt... Ishna did a flip in mid-air and descended from the sky, her body emanating dazzling golden light, like a comet falling from heaven. Her speed increased, flames kindled from the friction with air, and just before she was about to hit the ground, she changed her stance, landing softly with bare feet on the sand without stirring a single grain. The monsters besieging the camp scattered like frightened monkeys when a tree falls, fleeing in all directions. The Desert Dragon, whose strength had significantly increased to Upper Sequence, also tucked its tail, trying to blend in with the monsters and sneak away. But Wen Wen extended his right hand in its direction, releasing Black Chains mixed with powerful Suction Force that dragged it back. This creature had previously been dealt with by Wen Wen, yet still dared to lead the assault on the camp, making Wen Wen feel offended, so he couldn’t let it go. Once the Desert Dragon was close enough, Wen Wen knocked it out with an Asura Straight Punch and then bowed lightly to Ishna. "To what do I owe the honor of your visit, esteemed Judicator Ishna?" As his power grew, Wen Wen’s authority in the Hunters Association increased, and he already knew the traits of the eight Judicators, hence he recognized Ishna at a glance. "What did you do to this ritual platform?" She was the first Judicator to sense the anomaly, deducing it began from the Dongyou Region and spread throughout the Federation. More coincidentally, right as she sensed the anomaly, a Catastrophe-Level Expert’s presence flashed by. It was hard not to suspect that this unpredictable anomaly was connected to Wen Wen and his associates. "I was only creating a clone, which I’ve already let go. If you need, I can give you all the data from when I was creating it." Wen Wen took out a stack of drafts filled with runes and handed them to Ishna. Although it indeed started with Wen Wen, he wasn’t prepared to admit it because, with the continued weakening of the Black Robe, the disappearance of the barrier was inevitable, so he intended to brush it off with random excuses. "I don’t need to see these; I can’t understand them anyway. Let me ask you... was that massive fan-shaped rift also caused while making a clone?" Ishna gestured to the three enormous fan-shaped fissures spanning thousands of meters as she questioned. Wen Wen scratched his head: "Funny you might not believe it, but while I was creating a clone, out of nowhere a purple hand appeared and began fighting with a mysterious Catastrophe, resulting in that scene." Ishna looked at Wen Wen’s earnest expression and surprisingly chose to believe him. Because indeed, she sensed another presence here, one far beyond a typical Catastrophe level. It was faint but of an extraordinarily high tier. Ishna pondered for a few seconds, then said to Wen Wen, "Baidiya is having some trouble now. If you have time, could you help pacify the chaos? Baidiya is the Dongyou Region’s most important city and cannot be lost." Wen Wen smiled slightly, "Of course, I’ve long wanted to visit Baidiya." Ishna nodded, transforming into a golden Morning Star and flying away. She had him go to Baidiya partly because of its current troubles and partly because she wanted to observe Wen Wen closely for a time to determine whether he was associated with the anomaly. After Ishna left, Wen Wen roughly stuffed the defiant Desert Dragon into the Sanctuary, then called for Three Cubs and Tao Qingqing to head towards Baidiya in the Sacred Artifact War Machine. Note, they were traveling to, not flying to, meaning the Sacred Artifact War Machine was moving on the ground. Honestly, the present Sacred Artifact War Machine didn’t even look like a plane; it resembled a black dual-decker bus filled with a sci-fi vibe. This bus was the result of the Sacred Artifact War Machine folding and transforming! After all components became sacred objects, the war machine possessed myriad incredible traits. Not to mention its exaggerated extreme performance, its mere firmness allowed it to withstand missile impacts head-on yet could auto-repair... It even had a ’transformation’ ability, beyond just turning into a bus; it could become a yacht, submarine, tractor, excavator...
