[Rose ]
I made my way down the stage, I noticed the same man, right where he was, yesterday and a day before that. I was weird. We had regular people come every day but he just seemed weird.
Ava was standing beside me commenting on a random funny incident when I realized these past few days I have been having at least one person around me when I was done with my dances. And carries only let my regular customers take a private dance.
It didn't bother me as the money earned was not reduced. But It was weird.
The bouncer grabbed my money taking it inside. I was standing in front of the bar when I gasp as I feel a hand on mine and I snapped my head back, relief washed over me as I saw who It was.
"We need to talk," he said and I looked at Ava, Ava nodded walking away.
"Get a dress, grab your stuff. We have to leave" I frowned.
"But why-" He cuts me off
"No questions Rose, Please trust me" I looked down biting my lip before leaving to go to the back rooms.
"What's happening?" I asked as he grabbed my hand, taking us to the Black sedan. "Kaden" I whispered, he turned around with his face showing pure anger but I stare at the man I saw early, his eyes were now at the entrance of the club. he stares at him as I saw a glance once at Kaden.
The two men were walking out searching around, "The one in the blue asked for a dance, But Carrie denied. I figured something was wrong" he stares at them for another minute as their eyes move around the parking space.
"Get in," He said and I immediately opened the door shutting it, and he starts the car pulling it out of the driveway.
"Fuck" he curses as we both see one of them looking at me and they rush to their car.
"Here, call Coby," he said throwing his phone at me and he then took a sharp turn away from both our houses.
I searched through the contacts and dialed his no, Within seconds he picked it up.
"What's going on? I am heading at the high way" he glances at me. "Meet us at the intersection, Try to get your car between us. Take me towards the tracks." He hummed.
"What if they know?" he looks in the rearview, making me look behind, they were right behind us. "Well, then we'll have to stop em" I snapped her head at me. What was he gonna do now?
It was a minute of chasing them away when I see Coby's car from a distance trying to beat them to us. Kaden took a sharp U- turn and I loudly gasp as we both hear a gun shot.
My heart starts racing. As I feel a pit in my stomach. I knew as long as I was with Kaden I was safe But what if he got hurt?
He was late when we left, they were hardly any cars around. We had to get to a busy place. But I knew very well we had no way to turn back around towards the busy city. I had been around here a couple of times.
I had so many questions. Why was I in the middle of such shit.
I see Coby's car behind us but they had hit the back of our car. My mouth gaping as I see that car not leaving us alone and I knew they probably would kill if they got me or him.
When Coby turned his car around unfortunately they noticed us again in the car.
He accepts his call, "Well?" he chuckled in frustration looking at the mirror and seeing their car behind us, "Where are you?"He asked.
"Right behind" Kaden nodded.
I covered her ears as we heard another gunshot making me drag the car into a forest road and turning it around to face their car, "Don't get out" He said staring at them and we wait, Till they get out. He waited till we both see Coby's car slowly pull up away from us and he walks out.
I see him grabbed the gun under my seat.
A gun, he had a gun. Oh God, Who did I get involved with?
"Get in the back Rose" I didn't say anything and he looks at me. My eyes staring at my gun.
"Get in the back Rose!" I flinch and moved from between the seats to the back seat as he gets out.
"Aiden set you up to come after her?" They didn't say anything. It was a second before Coby's Guns pressed against both their heads and they pointed their guns at Kaden.
I put my hand to my mouth. How can he just stand there knowing if they pulled the trigger he could get hurt?
"Fuck you, Kaden," He yelled and Kaden takes his gun. As Coby knocked the other guy out taking his gun.
Suddenly Kaden was tackled with a knife before It could reach his stomach Kaden fired his shot at his leg.I stare in disbelief. The only thought running in my mind was to leave. Leave this mess.
Kaden pushed him off and stood up.
"Where are we going?" he looks at Coby.
They decided to rent a villa long past the city as I heard from a distance." But closer to the club I was supposed to meet Emerald at."
Who was Emerald?
I start feeling suffocated and I just get out walking behind the car and trying to breathe. Tears piling in my eyes for some reason.
As he probably walked back to the car Coby pulled his car out the narrow road, he opened the back door.
"Rose!" he yelled slamming the door close But I didnt respond. I was too tired, I was scared and I was stuck in a mess. Yet again.
I heard his loud footsteps come in my direction as he yelled my name. His voice show desperation.
. "Rose?" I heard him right behind me as he touched my hand. I didn't care if he had a gun at this point. I wasn't scared of him. But something just made me feel out of touch. I trusted him. But I hated being in this situation.
"I am sorry you had to see that" I bite my lip. My mind still processing that kiss. -
I stare at my feet, That was- I never felt like that. I was just kissed by this guy who I know so little about.
"You just, I-I " I couldn't make myself speak. Suddenly, Grabbing my face and pressing his lip against mine he kissed me deeply. My heartbeat rose up, As heat filled my body.
My eyes closed right before he touched my lips as now I could feel his soft lips on mine,
I whimpered at his roughness. My hands stayed near his chest and he pressed his body to mine. His was so warm,I was shivering in the cold. My lips moved only a bit.I couldn't look up at him, I was so nervous.
But he didn't stop. Grabbing my chin and giving me a deep kiss before letting go.
I didn't know what to say, I was just surprised. I was scared, Just a minute ago I considered moving away from this city, Going back to where I came from. Go back to my parents where I could feel safe. But now, I was already wanting to get close to him. Because now I was attached to the feeling He gave me. The feeling of being safe, taken care of. Given attention.
I hate myself.
"I gotta go, I'll see you at the club with Emreald. Are you okay?" Coby asked after taking to Kaden and I snap my eyes up and hummed in question. "Ya, Ya, I am good"He frowned.
"Sorry for getting you in the mess" I shook my head. "I wouldn't go back if I were you, Aiden probably knows we took these guys down" I looked away uncomfortable after hearing that.
"I am not going our club, I have to go see someone" Kaden nodded.
He left as Kaden and I wait ntil we see a man's bike stop in front of us.
"Evening." He said smiling and going straight to the door unlocking it I looked around the living room as Kaden talked to this guy who let us in. He left almost within minutes.
"I'll order some food" I hear him right behind me. I couldn't explain the sudden feeling I got in my stomach as I feel his hand on my waits, very light as he asked me.
"What you wanna eat?" I gulp walking some steps to the kitchen counter and sitting on the chair.
"I don't mind acting, Can You please explain why I am here right now? All my stuff is at the apartment" He suddenly stopped looking at his phone.
"Does anyone at the club know you live there?" He walked at me and I shook my head.
"No, I never told anyone" He nodded. "Listen to me" I let a small voice come from my throat as he gently lifts up my face by my chin.
"I have done things to ruin people's plan on making my club a down trading house for drugs. It has made Aiden put me on the target for his gun. "
"What? Who?" I asked. He sighs sitting beisde me.
"I'll explain it".
