"Rose!" I called her as I see her walking out, She didn't seem to hear and I forwn calling her again, louder and suddenly my phone rang I look down texting the guy back and asking him to call me back.
"Rose" , She looked at me, but she somehow had this weird frown over her face, She seem tired. But we had to take her with us. I wasn't sure who exactly Aiden's men were after. But I couldn't risk him putting his hands on her.

"Hey. Why would you leave alone? You don't need to leave alone if you see one of us still here" Coby said walking near me.
"I really don't need a ride. The place is ten minutes away. Plus I-" I heard her but I cut her off while texting.

. "I-I am fine really" I looked at her, Why wasn't she listening? Was she scared? Was she uncomfortable?
"Get in the car Rose. We'll drop you off" she blinked once. I was already pissed off. I didn't want her to see me angry. I fear she would just walk away. So I gave her one last sentence before unlocking the car behind us.
She got in without another word and Coby got in beside us. "I got a text from Max. I think we should postpone the dates of the next event by a month. " Coby agreed.
"Did you eat?" I asked her I glance at her once. "Um- I am gonna buy something at the mart nearby" I decided to ditch the plan of dropping her home. Instead, just come clean with why we now need to be near her.
I get off going near her as she looked at the place I brought her to, I wanted her to be comfortable, So a public place was better. I opened the door for her, my hand naturally going at the back of her waist as I lead her inside.
We ordered somethings before getting comfortable.
"What did Aiden ask you?" She looked at me, her gaze falling to her hands-on the table immediately. She never really looked me in the eye, to be honest. Whenever she did she would look away within seconds.
"He just asked my name. Then told me he is the finance manager of the club? That everyone knows him" I nodded. "Ya, we know him well alright, That motherfucker" I curse. She creased her brows in confusion.
"Rose, You need to be alert now. That man isn't good. You see him even looking at you, You come to me" I said. Taking her back. "Or go to Coby" I continued after a pause.
"He probably wants to talk to you now. Just don't talk to him. Remember. If you feel like you are been watching come to us" Coby explains making her more uncomfortable.
"Why? What's happening. Am I in some kind of danger?" She asked, I sigh. "You are not. Not unless you are completely alone. Just stay near the staff in the club. I'll drop you home at night and don't go out alone unless there are people on the street"
She blinked looking away.
"What have I gotten myself into?"
"It's not you Rose. He has done it before" She looked up. "What?" She paused. We just started at her. "Done what?" She asked.
"He tried to befriend a girl, new girl. Someone who didn't know him, made her do things for him. Just be safe" She puts her hands over her face. I was angry.
If I could just. Help her. I didn't like seeing her this.
"I gotta make a call," Coby said leaving us alone.
"I am scared," She said. I sigh standing up and sitting beside her. "You don't have to think much. I'm here. I'll be there when you need me"
"I just, I don't know what to say. Am I suppose to thank you?" I take a sip of my coke.
"No. Just do as I say. And don't leave my side" I could see her breathing heavy. And I take her hand in mine squeezing it. "Trust me?" She looked at our hands and nodded.
"Do I scare you, Roselyn?" She gulped. "Ya," She whispered. "I don't blame you, but I would let anything trouble you" She smiled I let go of her hand as I see Coby walk in.
She only ate three slices. It amazed me, was she not hungry? Or did she just didn't like the pizza?
"You are done already?" She sips her coke , "Hm? Yes, I am full" Coby chuckled.
"Well, You really eat so less" She smiled

We walked out the sudden loud noise of a dog barking sends Rose to grab my arm and lean on me scared. I looked at her as she let go immediately embarrassed. But I wanted her to stay near me for just a little longer.
Unable to hold myself back I put my arm on the back of her tiny waist and we walked to the car.
Coby wanting to go have drinks with a friend and left us alone.
"Leave it by the club, I'll come back tomorrow," He said throwing his keys at me.
"Will he be okay?" Rose asked staring as he walked away. "Ya, he has people who he stays over at night when drunk," I said opening the door for her.
