"I KNOW I FUCKED YOU WELL, I just didn't realize you won't be able to talk after, love," Jax says as he placed me on the kitchen counter.
Yes, after a lot of arguing about how I'm big and I can still manage to walk even after he fucked me limp, he said he wanted to carry me to the kitchen and then make me dinner.
I nod my head in reply to his words causing him to chuckle and kiss my forehead. I watch as he pours me a glass of water and hands it to me.
I drink the entire glass of water and exhale as I hand the glass back to him "Thank you" I whisper slowly.
Jax moves closer to me and stands between my legs and leans his face towards mine before using his tongue to lick the drop of water that was beside my lip.
He pulls back as he smirks at me "Let's get food in you, darling. What do you want to eat?"
"Spaghetti" I lean back on my hands while looking at him.
His spaghetti is the bomb, almost as good as his dick if you ask me.
We were currently at his place, and Veronica was here. I had no issue with her being here, Just because she's his ex doesn't mean he can't help her out and she needed the help.
*Flashback*
"Jaxon!"
"Veronica?"
He knows her...
"H-Hey how are you-"
Jax stutters?
She cuts him off as she throws her arms around him bawling. He was shocked by the action as his hands are still by his side having no idea what to do
"Jaxon please help me, i-i need your help. I dunno what to do, you're the only person I know that can help me. Please, Jaxon"
I just stood there utterly confused at the entire thing happening in front of me, I had no idea what to do.
People call him Jaxon?

I've not seen her since that night at the event, and since I arrived here last night, she has not stepped out of her room.
I told Jax to check up on her, but he just said he wants her to come out on her own when she's ready and feeling comfortable enough.
She has not come out for four days man! That might be never.

"Hey" she utters lowly as she appears in the kitchen
"Hey Veronica, how are you?" Jax turns around at the sound of her voice
"Hi" I wave slowly, I have no idea what to do in this situation.
"I'm sorry if I'm interrupting I would have come out sooner but i-i didn't know when you guys uhm, finished," she says the last part in a whisper
My head turns to Jax with speed, one might think it will fall off.
I glare at him with wide eyes as if saying "I thought you said your room was soundproof?"
He covers his mouth with his hand trying to hide his smile as he clears his throat and walks towards her "It's nothing Veronica, I'm making spaghetti will you like some?"
"I-i don't really wanna bother you-" I cut her off
"You're not, there's enough for three of us, join us please," I say gently before I take out the dishes to go set the table.
I make my way out of the kitchen to the dining but not before I hear Veronica saying "You look happy" I don't wait to hear his reply because I hear shuffling and I'm not really in the mood to be caught eavesdropping.
After Jax finishes the food and dishes them out for us, I think of an easy interaction I can have with Veronica to make it less awkward.
"So, Ve-" She cuts me off abruptly, as she faces Jaxon
I ignore it. I mean it might not be intentional.
"How's work Jaxon?" The tone she uses to say his name might just be me but I know when a woman is tryna sound sultry or sexy. His name falls from her lips so smoothly like she's trying to make it sound melodious or some shit.
I don't know.
"I don't work at the company anymore, temporarily anyway"
My mind goes to our contract. What happened to it? I mean now that we're dating is the contract void? we still have sex but we're a couple now though.
"I was not talking about the company, you still got the merge with the Italians?" She asks with her eyes locked on him as she eats her food.
My eyes move to Jax, I dunno if I imagined it but her question seemed to make him uncomfortable. I notice the way his body tenses and his jaw clenched.
"You work with Italians?" I have to ask because I seem to be the only one lost in this conversation and I'm beginning to notice the tension between them that I didn't seem to sense before.
Jax clears his throat "Uh yeah, something of the sort" He drops his utensil on his plate as he cleans the side of his mouth with the napkin.
"Uhmm Okay?..... That was not a yes or no" I chuckle nervously as I squint my eyes and tilt my head a little to the side while looking at him.
"She doesn't know? Oh, I am sorry I thought she does because... you know, you guys are....i-im Sorry. that was stupid" she rushed out and faces her food without raising her head again.
I turn my body to face him, there's no point in trying to be subtle anymore the cat is already outta the bag "What's she talking about, Jaxon" His body visibly tenses at my use of his full name but I ignore it
"It's just a work deal that I have with my Italian contacts" He places his palm on mine rubbing it slowly in a soothing manner.
"I'm sorry Imaani, I dunno why I brought It up I should have-"
Jax cuts her off as he slams his fist on the table "Shut up V!"

That's it.
"Yeah Uhm, I'm gonna go. Yeah, cus whatever this is" I motion between both of them " I'm lost, and if you're not going to explain to me or at least tell me the full story because there is one. I'm not going to sit here and make a fool of myself" I look at Jax as I speak before walking out to go grab my stuff upstairs.
"Imaani wait!" I hear chair scrapping and then I hear his footsteps coming after me
I make my way into the room and start packing up my things, I'm too angry to take a shower here. I will have one at my place.
"God what have I done, what the fuck was I thinking getting into a relationship so soon for fucks sake! A month and they're already numerous secrets between us that only his ex seems to know." I think to myself as I pick up my bags and make my way downstairs. I see Jax standing by the door obstructing my way.
"Move please" I will myself not to look at him, I know myself. I look at him and I can end up forgetting my reason for being mad. I can't do that to myself. I need this.
I need this period to be angry and think about the decisions I've made this past month.
I don't want to believe this relationship was a mistake, but we clearly rushed things and now.....it's biting me in the ass.
"Baby please, look at me. Drop your bag and let's talk" He lifts my face from my chin. I close my eyes and turn my head to the side
"I'll see you later, Jax" I push past him and make my way downstairs making sure to walk fast. I can hear his footsteps coming after me very fast.
I get to the door open it and without looking I bump into a hard chest.
"Imaani? what's wrong?" Micheal lifts my head to look at him. His expression changes to one of anger "What did he do?"
"Nothing, can you please drop me home?" I ask trying to pull him towards his car before Jax comes
"Imaani!" Jax yells after me. I can hear his hasty footsteps coming after me.
"I'm going to kill him," Micheal says furiously as he tries to pull his grip from mine
"Micheal, what are you doing here?" Jax asks as he stops in front of us
"Just take me home, please," I say weakly
"No!" he protests "Please, baby let me take you home" Jax pleads as he moves his hand out to touch me
"Let's go Imaani," Micheal says as he follows behind me to his car
"Fuck No! Thank you, Micheal but i-" Jax's speech is interrupted.
"Hey, Micheal" Veronica cuts him off with her greeting
Micheal scoffs before halting, turning around and walking towards Jax.
He punches him in the face. The motion is swift and precise.
I gasp audibly and my eyes widen from the unexpected action.
"Let's go," he says before leading me to his car and driving out of Jax's place.
I sit in the car and throw a glance to the back, I can see Jax standing by the door nursing his injured jaw with Veronica standing behind him.
I ignore the way she's looking at him and face forward.
