I picked up my nonstop ringing phone. It's been ringing forever. Alex's name flashes on my screen and I wasn't surprised at all. I picked it up immediately.
" Hello"
" Hey man, what do you want again? "
Alex chuckled " Why are you suddenly mean to me. I did nothing wrong "
I let out a sigh " I'm kind of busy and you know how I hate it when a phone call stop me from doing my work"
" What if the phone call is important?"
" Anything coming from you is never important so what is it you want to say?" He asked.
" You'll never change man," Alex said " funny enough this is very important. Important than any work you must be doing right now "
I was alarmed " What is it about ?"
" It's about Your mate Ella. Something happened to her mom" He said while I furrowed my brows
"What do you mean? I thought Stella usually goes to check on her? How the hell did it happen?"
I can hear Alex murmuring to someone on the other side. He cleared his throat then said " Stella was the one that confirmed it too. She isn't to be blamed. It happened in the middle of the night while everyone is asleep"

I got up instantly " This must be done by our enemy. But how come they got to her so fast. No one from the outside knew about Ella so how come they find out ?"
" My question to" Alex said and He sounds so worried " What should we do? Are you going to inform Ella, that lady needs to know "
" No," I said firmly " She knows nothing not until I tell her. The more she'll have the zeal to go back home if she finds out about her mother's kidnapping."
" Just think of something fast. The more we waste time the more they come for Ella next time " he said while I growled through the phone.
" No one dares come close to Ella. Before that happens I'll chop off their hands and give this a little thought, why have they not sent a letter? If this was done by our enemy they should have sent a letter by now " I told him
" True, you thought right. So what do you suggest we do?"
I gave it a little thought " Let's wait for the whole of today and if nothing comes in then we start our investigation. For now, you and Stella should please stalk the house to find out any strange movement. The attacker will come back to either pick one or two things so keep a firm watch "
" Sure," he said
We ended the call and just in time dad walked into the study. He gave me a look and then placed his hand on my shoulder as he got closer.
" You'll find her," he said. He must have listened to our conversation or rather since we have a wider hearing sense that possibly had made him hear what I was talking about. I nodded.
" Thanks, Dad" A little encouragement won't hurt.
Dad went to sit on the chair while I followed closely behind him. I sat on my big and comfy chair. He looks thoughtful for a while then said.
" What are you going to do about her ?" He asked and I'm sure by her he meant Ella
" What else mate her and then have children"
He chuckled" You remind me so much of myself son. I know all you want right now is to have her by your side but then again remember that she's just a human. That girl needs to be trained gradually. You always lock her in the room which doesn't seem nice"
I was getting riled up with this " What do you want me to do then?"
" Allow her to move freely. I'm sure she also feels something for you. Let her move at her own free will, that way she can learn by herself. The pack members are wondering. They don't even know who she is. They are waiting for a speech from you and you know that's how that works. Bringing a human into this palace needs some explanation. " He advised " I'm sure few know who she is but others will also pretend as if they don't know what's going on. You are only giving them the privilege to talk that's all"
I was frustrated " Dad you know I'm trying right here. I have a lot on my plate and about the speech, I thought of doing that tomorrow, or is it too far?"
Dad shook his head " Of course not it isn't. Just don't make it anymore longer. The more you waste time the more questioning they'll become "
I nodded " I've heard you dad "
" Good." He said. I was grateful the conversation has ended not until he said " Son there is something else "
I furrowed my brows confused at what it may be " What is it ?"
" it's about Sandra. "
" What is it again " I was getting pissed already
" Does she know that Ella stays in her sister's room?"
I never saw that coming " Does it matter ?"
" Of course it doesn't matter but just for your peace of mind and from Sandra's antics, you should clear it on time "
" I've heard you"
" One more thing son" he chuckled when he saw the annoyance on my face
" Make sure you tell Ella also. Tell her who stays in that room before her."
"You mean I should tell her about my past then ?" I scoffed.
" Is that such a bad thing?" He asked like it doesn't matter.
"Of course it matters to me. My past is my past " I practically yelled.
Dad raised his hands in surrender " Okay fine don't eat me raw. I was only suggesting "
" Thanks for the suggestion " I retorted. I didn't mean to be rude but with everything going on right now my mood changes quickly. I have that of Sandra and Ella which is yet to be solved .Those two will be a problem while staying here. I need to find a solution.
He chuckled then got up and left the office. I let out a breath I didn't know I was holding.
Sandra deserves to be here as much as Ella. They both mean something to me. Don't get me wrong, Sandra meant nothing other than a sister but after the kiss, I was beginning to think of staying far away from her whereas Ella meant the world to me. She is everything I want .
