In the dim cave, Yun Yun's anxious gaze was finally relieved when Mo Yu returned after half an hour. However, the sight of him was far from comforting. His aura was weak, and a large patch of blood stained his chest.
"Mo Yu, are you alright?" Yun Yun rushed forward with concern as soon as she saw him, her heart tightening at the sight of his wound.
"Cough, do I look alright?" Mo Yu weakly coughed up blood. Suddenly, a sharp pain pierced his mind, causing his consciousness to blur, and he collapsed.
To defeat the third-ranked magical beast earlier, Mo Yu had used a soul technique that severely taxed his already fragile soul power, which had barely recovered from previous damage.
Seeing his condition, Yun Yun acted swiftly, catching the young man in her arms, holding him tenderly.
Fortunately, thanks to his experience from last time, Mo Yu recovered relatively quickly. When he slowly regained consciousness, he vaguely felt a soft arm wrapped around his waist.

"I'm hungry," Mo Yu suddenly said, feeling his stomach grumble after the intense battle with the magical beast.
"Oh...?" Yun Yun blinked, and then it dawned on her what he was implying—he wanted her to cook! Her slender fingers pointed to herself in surprise. She, the leader of the Yun Lan Sect, had never cooked in her life. Even her master, Yun Shan, had never tasted food made by her.
Mo Yu pointed at his injuries, silently implying that he was in no condition to cook for himself.
Yun Yun chuckled at the boy's cheeky look and quipped, "Serves you right for acting tough. You're still so young, yet you always act like an old man." Despite her words, she turned around and began preparing the fire for roasting, her graceful figure a sight to behold.
As Yun Yun crouched to cook the wild boar Mo Yu had recently hunted, he watched her with newfound appreciation. Even as a sect leader, she had an adorable side.
Shaking his head, Mo Yu formed hand seals to begin meditating and entered a cultivation state after a while.
After some time, Yun Yun, sweating from the effort, finished roasting the wild boar. She called out to wake Mo Yu. When he opened his eyes and saw the large, somewhat charred piece of meat in front of him, his mouth twitched slightly.
"Is this your idea of roasted boar?" he asked, looking at Yun Yun's expectant eyes with a teasing smile.
"This is my first time cooking! Even if it's not perfect, you better eat it all. Or else, when I regain my strength..." Yun Yun's red lips curved slightly as she threatened with a hint of playful menace.
Mo Yu laughed softly, cut off a piece of the juiciest part of the boar's leg with his knife, handed it to Yun Yun, and then began devouring the rest ravenously.
Seeing him eat so heartily, Yun Yun smiled, biting into the roast herself. She was satisfied with Mo Yu's appreciation of her efforts.
As Mo Yu ate, however, he began to feel something was off. His body started heating up unnaturally, and he shifted uncomfortably.
"Um... Mo Yu, do you feel something strange?" Yun Yun suddenly asked, her voice soft and her face flushed.
Hearing her question, Mo Yu's heart skipped a beat. He looked up to see Yun Yun's delicate face, now covered in an alluring blush. Her once clear eyes had grown hazy and distant.
"Yeah... something's definitely wrong," Mo Yu muttered bitterly, realizing his own body was heating up too, and worse, it was triggering the latent evil fire within his Heavenly Thunder Body.
With a long sigh, Mo Yu felt the rising evil fire spread further, barely containing it with his Dou Qi.
Yun Yun, too, was struggling with the growing heat, fighting the impulse to remove her clothing. Although her strength was sealed, her years of training helped her hold back, at least for now.
After analyzing the situation, they concluded the problem must be with the roasted boar.
"When I hunted the boar, I found a dead He Snake nearby. Could the boar have ingested the snake and mutated, leaving its flesh laced with an aphrodisiac toxin?" Mo Yu guessed, his voice strained.
The He Snake was known for its extreme lustful nature, and its flesh was used in making aphrodisiacs. Mo Yu's theory seemed highly plausible.
Yun Yun's face turned crimson with shame. "How did we end up in this situation? What do we do now?"
"Just suppress it with Dou Qi. The He Snake is only a first-rank magical beast, and the poison has likely weakened after passing through the boar. We should be able to hold out," Mo Yu replied, quickly closing his eyes to focus on suppressing the fire within him.
But as Yun Yun attempted to circulate her Dou Qi, her heart sank—her Dou Qi was completely sealed! There was nothing to help her fight the rising fire within her.
The heat inside her grew more intense, clouding her mind and pushing her toward a dangerous edge.
"I can't stay here. I need to leave!" Yun Yun cried out, her voice laced with panic as she dashed toward the cave entrance, hoping the fresh air would help clear her head.

Hearing the name of the notorious He Ape, Yun Yun's face paled. She had heard of this vile, lustful beast and couldn't bear the thought of such a fate.
Cornered and desperate, Yun Yun bit down on Mo Yu's shoulder. However, as she felt the warmth of his body, the fire within her only burned hotter.
With the evil fire fully igniting within him, Mo Yu's control slipped, and the situation quickly spiraled beyond saving. Both of them succumbed to the rising heat, with Mo Yu losing the last of his restraint as he laid Yun Yun gently on the stone bed.
And then, everything faded into the inevitable.
