"Dark Serpent Shadow Sword."
Seeing the dark short sword in Mo Yin's hand, Mo Yu immediately recalled something, especially thinking back to the auction in Wu Tan City. One of the two weapons auctioned at the Mite-er Auction House was a short sword, which had been bought by a mysterious figure in a black robe. When Mo Yu first laid eyes on Mo Yin, he had a vague feeling of familiarity.
Now it seemed certain that the person who had bought the Dark Serpent Shadow Sword was none other than Mo Yin.
Although he did not know why Mo Yin had infiltrated Wu Tan City long ago without making a move against him, seeing the Dark Serpent Shadow Sword, Mo Yu's mind started forming a plan to escape.
"Who exactly are you, kid?"
Mo Yin coughed violently, his voice hoarse as he stared at Mo Yu. The youth's abilities gave him the feeling of facing an ancient monster.
"I am the one destined to kill you!" Mo Yu coldly replied, while silently recovering his depleted dou qi and nearly exhausted spiritual power. As he spoke, he slowly edged toward a cliff not far to his left.
"Arrogant brat, you must die today!" Mo Yin growled as he glared at the youth who had moved closer to the edge of the cliff. Did the kid really think he could escape?
"Sorry, but things may not go as you wish." Mo Yu looked up at Mo Yin's twisted face. His pale face flushed red, and his body trembled slightly. Suddenly, a pair of dark wings, about a meter long, shot out from his back.
Seeing the sudden appearance of wings on Mo Yu's back, Mo Yin was once again shocked, his face dark and grim.
With a flap of his wings, Mo Yu leaped off the cliff and, in Mo Yin's stunned gaze, wobbled as he flew toward the opposite cliff.
"Dou Qi Transformation Wings, a Dou Wang... no, it's that kid's strange technique!" Mo Yin quickly shook his head. Although Mo Yu's dou qi still stayed at the Dou Zhe level, the boy's endless tricks had almost fooled him.
"You little bastard, don't think you can escape from my grasp today!"
Grinning savagely, Mo Yin's body twisted. His left leg suddenly shook violently, and with a burst of energy, his pants shattered. His now-exposed thigh pulsed with veins, like small snakes writhing under his skin. The leg had grown significantly wider, and the originally normal leg hair had suddenly lengthened by half an inch and turned jet-black, resembling a wild wolf's fur.
At this moment, Mo Yin's leg had completely transformed, no longer resembling a human limb but more like a magical beast's.
His leg began to emit a faint green hue, and moments later, the entire leg turned dark green, resembling the leg of a Swift Wind Wolf.

In midair, Mo Yu had no way to dodge, but he had no intention of doing so. His spiritual power surged out, precisely entering the Dark Serpent Shadow Sword in Mo Yin's hand. With a thought, a low shout escaped Mo Yu's mouth.
"Weapon Explosion Art!"
As Mo Yu's voice fell, the short sword in Mo Yin's hand exploded without warning.
The explosion of a Tier 2 or even Tier 3 weapon caused a thunderous sound in midair, scattering the birds and beasts around the cliff.
The blast wave caused Mo Yin's rapid charge to stall slightly, and the close-range explosion caught him off guard. His face twisted in agony from the blast, his once vicious expression now marred by bloody gashes. The right arm that had been holding the short sword was now nothing but an empty, bloodied stump, the arm blown off entirely.

Mo Yu immediately realized it was the spatial ring from Mo Yin's exploded right arm. Without hesitation, he flapped his wings and snatched the green ring into his arms.
All the treasures of a Da Dou Shi expert now belonged to him.
"Mo Yin, this ring will be the interest for your assassination attempt. As for your life, I'll take it another day!" Mo Yu's figure slowly disappeared into the darkness, but his cold laughter echoed in the air.
"You damned brat, I will hunt you down to the ends of the earth!" Mo Yin's venomous roar echoed from the cliff.
As he gazed at his missing right arm and the ring that had been stolen, Mo Yin's face darkened. The fury in his eyes surged like a storm.
The once-renowned figure of the northeastern provinces had just lost to a mere Dou Zhe!
Meanwhile, Mo Yu carefully flew across the deep ravine. Upon reaching the opposite side, his dou qi, already nearing depletion, instantly retracted the Purple Cloud Wings on his back with a soft "swish."
Suddenly, in midair, his body plummeted in a straight line, crashing into a patch of soft grass.
Both his dou qi and spiritual power were utterly exhausted, leaving Mo Yu in an extremely weakened state. Fortunately, the cliff had blocked Mo Yin from pursuing further; otherwise, Mo Yu would have been in mortal danger.
Even so, the cautious Mo Yu didn't dare linger. Struggling to his feet, he staggered into the depths of the Magical Beast Mountain Range, his body like that of an old man.
