Airus Accordo’s Pov,
I got down and walked over to Ben to see what happened to him as he said to me he will protect her with her life. Enzo and Nicole picked up unconscious Ben on their shoulder and walked towards another car. He gets lucky that he wasn’t in his state or consequences will be worse for him to risk her life. I didn’t say anything to them as they are used to handling such conditions very well.
I sat in the car beside her, placing her head in my lap. She is gorgeous even in this state. I didn’t like the trails of tears formed on her cheeks; they are making me uncomfortable and raising an uneasy feeling in me. It’s nothing Arius, just a few day hangover from her. It will wear off in a few days. I must not be attracted to her, but my every attempt fails when she opens her golden pools for me.

“Yaa, very.” I answered subconsciously, and Nicole burst into loud laughter while taking a seat in the driver's seat. Bastard. I ignored him.
“You like her.” He stated stubbornly.
“Absolutely not.” I opposed it immediately because it was. She is totally opposite of me. She is everything I can’t be or never be.
“Prove it.” He challenged adamantly.
“I shifted Salvatore’s focus from Aria to her.” He stopped the car in a loud screeching sound and turned towards me.
“I successfully convinced Salvatore that I am interested in her. He himself proved it by attacking me.” I told him, but he didn’t look convinced or happy at all. Just too calm for my liking.
“You will regret it in near future.” His voice showed his worry for me. We are technically brothers for each other. I knew he wasn’t going to oppose me for this as I am his boss but not going to support either as my friend. She steered in my lap a bit.
“Arius,” he mumbled lightly.
“Yes, Snowflake?” I asked, hoping to hear something from her, but she again fell silent and I pulled her closer to me, removed her hair, which had nerves to displace without her consent. I know I endangered you, snowflake, but trust me, I won’t let anything happen to you. Aria holds a very special place in my heart, if it exists. Even though I never saw her how she looks today, her safe existence is enough for me.
If you are the price of her safety, then I am willing to pay it anytime, regardless of your choice, because your heart screams you are mine loudly. Let’s see where this obsession took both of us, the path where we will lose our reason of existence, or the path where it will give me a new reason for killing. Whatever this fate chooses for us, I know who will be the winner in both conditions because Arius knows how to change his fate according to benefit.
Elena Davis’s Pov,
Sound of murmuring something made me come out of my deep sleep and the first thing I felt was that heavy head like something was banging on me and my rigid body, every single muscle in my body was aching. With great difficulty, I managed to open my eyes. I found myself on the softest bed with a city night light facing window welcoming me. I was in a dark themed bedroom with a high, dark gray-colored ceiling.
I hear the sound coming from the other side of the room. Baam, the sound made me remember the accident, that soul terrifying sound of bullets still roaring in my mind, scaring me from deep down. That man was dragging me with my hair mumbling something in Italian, but he was so angry about something and then out of nowhere that same sound resonated in calm the environment, making him fall on the road forming a crimson pool of blood near his head. He died, he died with a blink of an eye. He was lying on the road with blood surrounded by him.
“Ari-us.” As I saw him in the room, I ran towards him with all possible energy like a magnet and hugged him. He just embraced me with no hesitation and rested my head on the crook of his neck and shoulder, rubbing my back continuously.
“He di-ed, that so-und. Blo-od.” I was blabbering anything that was flashing in my brain. That thing terrified me a lot. I don’t know what happened most of the time as my eyes were shut all the time and buried my head in him. He shushed in between my rubbish.
“You are safe and sound, only that matters.” He whispered lightly, pulling me by sneaking his hand over me tightly, making me secure in his embrace. I relaxed on his shoulders. He was right as he said he was safe and sound; that’s only matters for me. He is safe and sound. I don’t need more than that. Just remember, he is safe. I was chanting the same thing repetitively to calm myself down. I could feel his thumping heart of mine making unique melodies together.
All my strained muscles relaxed a bit under his touch. He planted a kiss on my neck, making me close my eyes in relaxation. As he noticed me getting relaxed under his touch, he started trailing soft kisses all across my neck, shoulder and hairs, making me melt in him totally. I could only feel the soft touch of his lips over me leaving a wet rail behind, reminding me how alive I was feeling as soon as he touched me.
I don’t know how he does, but he can dissolve me in him completely, letting me forget the existence of me in his presence. With a deep sign, my body felt a soothing effect, and I let myself just recline on him. His hands were roaming all over my bare waist to back making me realize his each and every finger deep in me, I kissed his neck as he tightened the hold over me and his trails of kisses came towards my chest to throat making arch my neck to give him better access to me.
Clearing someone’s throat made me come out of his trance, making me realize what I am doing. I was hugging my boss, wrapping my legs around his waist. I jumped down quickly and took a few steps away from him. God, what have I done? How can I just do that?
“A--I am sorry, Mr. Accardo. I was just- “ I was trying to explain my behavior but couldn’t, so I just stopped talking about my embarrassing act. I saw smirking Nicole a few feet away from us and I don’t know how I should look at him now, so I just hung my head down, counting the number of tiles used for flooring. Mr. Accardo cussed loudly in Italian and turned to Nicole. They talked in Italian for a minute. Nicole turned to me with his sly smile.
“See you again, Tesoro.” He waved his hand at me and started walking towards the door of the room.
“non chiamarla così (don’t call her that)” Mr. Accardo roared at him in anger. Nicole just ignored him and closed the door of the room with a flick of his eye at me.
I looked around and realized that I was in a vast bedroom wearing a white shirt that ended up just a little above my mid thigh. Shirt? I jerked at him in shock. God, he is shirtless, all this time? Why didn’t I get some things before time?
“Why am I in a shirt? Mr. Accardo” I asked him in an accusing tone; folding my arms around my chest. He rolled his eyes at me and stood in front of me with his mighty attitude; sliding his hands in his pocket. Did he change my clothes? How dare he? Who gave him that, right?
“Maid changed it.” He mocked, moving towards the table beside the window. I relaxed as he confessed. He took a few pills and a glass of water from the table.
“What was that Mr. Accardo?” I requested. I wanted to know why some wanted to kill us or should I say, kill him as I don’t know anyone who loves me so much that it led him to wanting to kill me. This thing made me worried about him, that if someone wanted to kill him, his life would be in danger.
“Attack, take this.” He answered while forwarding the glass at me. I took the glass and gulped down pills in one go, as I was eager to listen to more about that.
“I get that. Who did that? Why did they do that? What do they want from you?” I pleaded, but his face was still calm, like this thing was normal to him.
“It’s not your problem.” He straight refused to answer my questions and went into the bathroom. He has to answer every question. I was about to die because of him. His replies made me furious.
“What do you mean it's not my problem?” I followed him to the bathroom. He can’t get out just ignoring like always. It’s a serious matter, he has to answer.
“Elena, I will handle the rest of it. You are not interfering in this.” He barked, making his back at me, opening the tap of the bathtub. I jerked him with his arm to face me.
“Interfering? I was there. You were there. You are on their hit list and you are just bathing? Have you talked with cops? What do they say?” I was yelling at him, but he was just observing me calmly.
“Are you worried about me?” He guessed, with curiosity filled in his eyes. This man really needs a psychiatrist. His question just filled my anger to its utmost level.
“Yes. You idi-” I screamed at him loudly and about to cuss, but he jerked me on the wall of the bathroom within a blink of an eye.
