Azrael read everything at a glance, his mind processing it at the speed of a supercomputer. He ignored most of the details for now, immediately focusing on the final reminder and the inventory section.
"A body that has never been exposed to cosmic energy since birth..." He muttered, narrowing his eyes.
He hadn’t paid much attention before, but now that he concentrated, he could sense that with each breath, a strange energy was entering his body.
The amount was minuscule— so faint that a normal person would never notice it unless they had a deep awareness of their own body.
"Is this strange energy the so-called cosmic energy?"
Azrael took another deep breath, and sure enough, he felt the energy mixing with the air and entering his body.
He could even sense how the energy was being absorbed by his cells. But for some reason, the process was irregular, and a faint burning sensation followed each breath as if he had swallowed something poisonous.
However, due to the tortures he had endured in the past, such a low level pain didn’t even register in his mind anymore.

Azrael glanced out at the garden from the window and noticed a man lying unconscious on the ground. The moment the strange pressure had swept through the area, the man—who had been in the garden at the time—had collapsed instantly.
The moment Azrael saw the man’s face, he recognized him. It was Mark— a servant who used to work in the mansion where he had lived back on Earth when he was young.
"If Mark is here, then those people might be here too," Azrael thought, a murderous glint flashing in his eyes.
But as soon as the thought occurred, the cold sensation in his head intensified, and his mood returned to normal.
Azrael frowned at the sudden change in his mood and narrowed his eyes.
"This cold feeling in my head makes me similar to how I was before—when my emotions stayed neutral regardless of the situation," He muttered and shifted his gaze toward the section labeled as Traits in the status window.

When Azrael’s gaze landed on his stat points, only one thought surfaced in his mind.
Weak. Extremely Weak.
After countless body modifications, his previous self was stronger than any human. Picking up an SUV and throwing it fifty meters away wasn’t even difficult for him.
But his current body... it was far too weak.
"Come to think of it, I was even weaker than most fifteen year olds at that time because of the conditions I was living in," Azrael murmured, narrowing his eyes.
"Are they still the same in this world?"
Two people appeared in his memories, and his gaze turned dark. But then, a new thought struck him, and his breathing caught.
"If this world is similar to Earth, could it be... he is still alive?"
