Boiling Beast Bloodline Chapter 1778

Chapter 1778: Chapter 591 The Pulse of War_3 Fresh chapters posted on Novᴇl_Fire(.)net It’s just too bizarre! The fish phenomenon only happens during the rainy season, and it’s long past that time, but the Sanggan River is somehow filled with all sorts of big fish. The sheer number of fish has clogged the river, causing it to overflow onto the floodplains, submerging the reeds, and pushing right up to the back wall of the Red Earth Highland. Everyone in Ventéclair has come out in full force, even the Antelope Men from underground have been brought by Andulan Elder to stand on both banks of the Sanggan River, catching fish among the crowded masses, while the bandits and robbers from the wasteland are arriving in droves. “Holy crap!” Richard felt he must be dreaming, rubbing his eyes three times to confirm it was real. The widest part of the Sanggan River spans the distance of five arrows, with a short river bend on Ventéclair’s side, but even so, the other side is about 500 yards long! How many fish would it take to fill the entire Sanggan River? With the smell of fish filling his nose and his brain a bit numb, Richard remembered an old saying from [Forest and Snowy Field] ——– beat the deer and scoop the fish! But now, people in Ventéclair aren’t just scooping fish; they’re sharpening bamboo sticks into spears, stabbing them into the water to catch fish without even needing to look. The nets have become mere decorations as the river churns with fish jumping wildly, a white glimmer all over, and you can grab them just by reaching out! Huge piles of fish stacked like mountains on the shore, each large enough that even the Antelope women need two people to lift just one. These fish have long banner fins and dazzling, colorful scales, their beauty leaving everyone wondering where they had come from. “The Sea Clan is on the move. It seems the rumors from humans were indeed effective!” King Sal patted Richard on the shoulder: “Richard, without a doubt, these fish are the provisions for the Sea Clan’s army! The last sea and land battle saw a similar tide of fish in the eight hundred-mile-long Mississippi Lake.” “I have an entire Mount Tamerlarya! I have the Seven-degree Gold Rings! I refuse to believe these fish can fill the giant ice caves of ‘Thousand Snow’s Eyes!’ One ice-snow hill isn’t enough, I’ll open two!” Richard laughed heartily. “What luck is this? No wonder these fish are so strange, they’re all sea creatures. Seems like we’ll be eating fish from now on.” “If your speed at catching fish could match the Sea Clan’s speed at driving fish schools, that would be something to see!” King Sal laughed, “But all jokes aside, catch as many as you can! Our kingdom depends on your ice caves; who knows, I might need to borrow your provisions someday!” “Richard! Your Majesty! Look at this!” Andulan Elder held up an extraordinarily long, giant ribbon fish and laughed with Richard and the king: “My goodness! It’s longer than a Buddha belly bamboo!” “Richard, the situation isn’t great. Recently, we’ve spotted a large number of desert scouts over by Cambridge Oasis,” King Sal wrapped an arm around the excitedly shouting Richard, speaking seriously: “The Sea Clan’s allies are the Mulanese, while the Demon Clan’s allies are the Naga. Even though we Aegeans are united now, once the Sea Clan advances, they will spread their attack in all directions. Humans will certainly look out for themselves first, and we’ll have immense pressure in the Donau Wasteland. Both the Demon and Sea Clans have concentrated their focus here!” “Desert People? I’ll unleash Xu Dela and Gerein, let them go to sea! If the Mulanese don’t come by ship, fine. If they come by ship, I’ll use a monstrous tidal wave to wipe them out!” Richard’s face was fierce, the Tear Drop Crown Ring in his hand creaking as he twisted it. “Tell me about empowering 876 Berserkers with ‘Tang Zang!’ You mentioned your single-control aura before, but I don’t want to hear excuses about permanent auras being unreliable!” King Sal’s eyes, bloodshot like a porcupine scorched by wildfire, glared at Richard. “Boy, don’t disappoint me! The hopes of our Beamon rest entirely in your hands!” “I learned to lie by the time I was three. If you insist I lie now, then as you wish, Your Majesty.” Richard punctured the last soap bubble of King Sal. An uncontrollable eruption of negative emotions, like a volcanic outburst, poured from the features of the aging Line. “I’ve tried your method already, whether relying on weapons to trigger blood burst attacks or using them to extract alcohol for flame attacks—we’ve pioneered a new era thanks to Ventéclair. Though it’s a difficult truth to swallow, what a new era it is.” King Sal, after a long period of dejection, sighed finally accepting the hard truth. The thought of nearly a thousand permanent Berserkers given away to other countries felt to the king as if an ogre clubbed his heart, followed by a kick from a Hill Giant. “By the way, where are the Ventéclair people?” the king curiously asked the bare-chested Richard. “Although the Elder Council hasn’t been informed, as king, I have a duty to award your son with a medal first.” “He’s still on the Silk Continent.” Richard thought to himself, “I haven’t even decided what to do with that boy yet. A medal for what?” “In fact, medals aren’t of much importance. You are his father, and as the war god’s representative, worldly honors mean nothing to you.” King Sal continued to sigh, “After I received your message, I selected an ordinary warrior from among the condemned to try Berserk using a war song. I then had the Wind Whisperer’s ‘Command Aura’ direct his Berserk attack. Would you like to guess what happened?”
