Boiling Beast Bloodline Chapter 176

176: Chapter 12 The Return of the King_2 176: Chapter 12 The Return of the King_2 A crafty smirk was plastered on Katusha’s plump face as she took advantage of the situation. Guoguo, brandishing a hefty nail-headed bat, pointed a tiny claw at her own nose, her face full of threats. At first, Ning Yu and Avril were relieved to see these two mischievous creatures. But a closer look at their expressions nearly fainted them. Despite being surrounded by a group of menacing Bear Goblin bandits, the pair were still thinking about food. The thought alone was enough to make Ning Yu and Avril blush, let alone acting on it. While they were discussing terms with the two creatures, the band of Bear Goblins were not idle. A leading Bear Goblin scoffed and swung his club with full might towards the two ignorant creatures. The Whizzing wind from the nail-headed bat, accompanied by a piercing sound, was about to adorn its weapon with two young lives. From out of nowhere, a green figure rolled onto the scene. With two crossed serrated broadswords, this figure parried a powerful, furious attack. Before the Bear Goblin could understand the situation, the two broadswords had already shaved up the nail-headed bat’s body. The nails on the bat’s head, accompanied by a ringing sound, were shaved off in a series. With a shrill scream, the hairy palms of the Bear Goblin bandit that held the bat were also half-shaved off. The green blade-light flashed again, effectively silencing the bandit. His throat was cut in half by the lightning-like broadswords, his dark, dirty blood splashing high. The other five Bear Goblin bandits, who had surrounded Guoguo with her bat, were now all focused on the green figure. They roared and lunged forward, swinging their bats at this sudden intruder. The green figure fearlessly met their bats with his two serrated broadswords. The moment the broadswords collided with the bats, they folded back into his wrists, neatly avoiding a direct impact. The figure then made an agile leap and roll, landing on one knee next to the stumbling goblins who had swung their bats in vain. There was a sudden loud explosive sound, and the two broadswords sprung out from his wrists again. The green blade-light was like lightning, appearing out of nowhere. With a colossal crash, the five Bear Goblin bandits fell to the ground, their bodies twitching slightly. Each had a huge gash in their abdomen, from which fresh blood was gushing out. The green figure stood still. In the moonlight, two membrane-like banners flung open on his back, dotted with black circular spots. “Green Banners Clan!” Ning Yu exclaimed. Surprisingly, the first Bear Goblin, whose windpipe had been slashed open, didn’t fall down immediately. He clutched his throat and wobbled around, his dark and dirty blood spurted out from his severed palm. His large disoriented eyes were full of disbelief. The green blade-light flashed again, slashing horizontally. This strike caused the burly Bear Goblin to spin on the spot. Another strike created a horrific gash extending from the back of the Bear Goblin’s head to his back. Official source is Nov3lFɪre.ɴet The dull sound of skulls being hacked open gave everyone involuntary chills. A strand of hair from the Bear Goblin’s back of the head fell down, followed by his whole body. The Mantis Ascetic Monk’s two serrated broadswords shot back into his wrists. Droplets of blood and white brain matter dripped from his arm, seeping into the Red Earth. “Though I love life, I am also a Beamon!” The Mantis Ascetic monk furrowed his brows. His gaze colder than the blades swept over the slowly retreating Bear Goblin bandits. With only a few flashes of his green blades, five of the bravest warriors of the tribe had fallen. It only took five strikes, and three of them were on one goblin warrior. The nearest Bear Goblins shivered in horror, evading the gaze of the Mantis blade-hand, their limbs icy cold. For the first time, they realized that these pitiful Beamon Ascetic monks were actually hidden masters! Three more Mantis Beamons, almost identical to him, emerged from the cave entrance on the barrow. Suppressed anger and fury were visible in their eyes, and some liquid dripped from the inside of their arms. Behind them were a group of small figures peeking out. The Bear Goblins who had just entered the cave seemed to have met the same horrible fate. “Don’t be afraid!” A Goblin leader stepped forward, pushing away the Goblin next to him. “They’re just a few Beamons! The Orephin warriors are illusions!” The Goblin leader roared, encouraging the frightened and discouraged Bear Goblins, “We have 180 brave warriors! If we don’t seize this opportunity, these spoils might be taken by other tribes!” So many beautiful women! They’re all yours!” The Goblin leader’s words were indeed more encouraging. As soon as he finished speaking, the Bear Goblins who had regained their senses began to howl, advancing toward the Mantis blade-hands. It seemed that the Bear Goblins guarding the captives at the bottom of the high bank had also sent half of their forces. Wielding their nail-headed bats, they charged up the Red Earth Highland. The bodies of the hundreds of Bear Goblins gave the barrow on the Red Earth Highland a ‘crackle’ sound as the earth continuously gave way under their feet. The Bear Goblins’ faces were twisted with ruthless smiles as they closed in slowly on the five Mantis blade-hand warriors.
