Boiling Beast Bloodline Chapter 158

158: Chapter 4 Dragon Hunting_2 158: Chapter 4 Dragon Hunting_2 Forget the rest, just the thought of those hundreds of little mouths at home waiting to be fed fills Liu Zhenhan with more dread than facing a giant dragon. Liu Zhenhan sighed deeply, even contemplating robbery. In a spur of the moment decision to ally himself with the Frost Giant Dragon of Tamerlarya, Liu Zhenhan did not do so for the dragon’s combat power. He wasn’t worried about the bandits in the wild lands; he had his three Golden Figures, his Wolf Fang Club, Helen’s dual-element magic Komodo War Beast. Even if their strength compared to the dragon had a gap, it was minuscule. He was lured by the legendary treasure guarded by the dragons. Dragons are known for hoarding gold coins. How rich must a dragon be! The thought made Liu Zhenhan’s blood boil. This thought was contemptuous, so he didn’t dare to tell Helen, stealthily hiding five huge beast skin bags. “Just the two of us will go hiking up the snowy mountains this time, no one else, just you and me,” Liu Zhenhan said to Helen. “Why not bring Sister Ning Yu along?” Helen asked, a bit embarrassed. “Because I love you most.” This cheesy love phrase was like a Nebula Chain Lightning, completely paralyzing Helen’s heart. She thought it was a romantic trip with her, oblivious to anything beyond feelings of being moved and shy. The dawn sun first emerged, and due to the reflection and emission of sunlight, the glaciers hanging upside down from the mountaintop turned into a light blue transparent body. The crystallized snowflakes, under the sunlight, emitted a splendid light that was wonderfully indescribable. Liu Zhenhan and Helen walked for a full two days. The higher they climbed, the more dangerous the mountain became, with pieces of floating clouds and thin fog wrapping around their bodies. When they looked up, Mount Tamerlarya was still in the clouds, presenting an endless climb. Liu Zhenhan was still bare-chested, which he always liked to do when no one else was around. Perhaps it was due to consuming the dragon’s egg, but his physique was becoming more robust and fearsome; even the icy, knife-like wind couldn’t make him feel anything. The thin air and the cold made it very hard for Helen to bear. Fortunately, the Night Pearl heated up in response to cold temperatures, otherwise, Helen would have given up long ago. Liu Zhenhan wasn’t going to give up so easily after coming this far. He persuaded Helen to agree to walk for one more day, despite the difficulties. Mount Tamerlarya was indeed too tall as even after walking till late evening on the second day, the mountain still stood. The sunset reflected off the ice-covered mountain was spectacular, turning into rainbow colors. It was beautiful, but it was still a mountain to climb. Even Liu Zhenhan felt disheartened at this point. But what surprised both Liu Zhenhan and Helen was the appearance of Bimon Beastmen on this snow mountain. In the middle of the winding glacier path, there was a tall figure covered in white animal skin, busily working beside a steaming hot spring. The hot splashes of water, dispersed by the wind, reflected the setting sun and formed rings of orange, pale purple, and a touch of dark red flowers, like a rainbow after the rain. Next to the fountain, for some unknown reason, clusters of nameless wild flowers, as big as a bowl, exuding a pleasant fragrance, were blooming. There were many such springs on Mount Tamerlarya, both hot springs and ice springs, all works of Mother Nature. Liu Zhenhan had a certain fondness for these hot springs, which he occasionally encountered on his way. From the back, the build of this Bimon Orc was quite robust with a broad back. His naked arms were bulky and muscular, covered in long hairs. It was hard to determine which race he belonged to. This made Liu Zhenhan and Helen curious. Could it be that Bimon could also survive this snowy mountain, known as the “Ice Throne”, Mount Tamerlarya? On this trip, even though Helen carried the warming Night Pearl, she still suffered in the thin air; it was only by snuggling in Liu Zhenhan’s broad warm chest that she could hold on for so long. The Bimon Beastman seemed to be as free and untamed as a wild man. His beast skin clothing seemed to be less for keeping warm and more intended for modesty. He walked barefoot and worked hard bare-chested, showing no signs of being affected by the thin air and cold. “Sir, may we interrupt you for a moment?” Liu Zhenhan shielded Helen behind him and politely greeted the Beastman with his back to him. This Beamon was using a vine to dip some unidentified meat into the boiling hot spring, giving it a little hot bath. Suddenly, a greeting came from behind him, startling him and causing the vine in his hands to fall into the hot spring. He turned around and gave Richard and Helen quite a start. This Beamon had a huge fluffy head, and basically, anywhere his body was exposed, was covered in dense, coarse hair. What truly surprised Richard and Helen was his long and robust nose and the spiraling tusks around his mouth. “Damn!” Richard was really taken aback. How could something be so ugly? The Beamon looked at the two people standing dumbstruck in front of him, stuck out his tongue, “wa” he cried out, with tears the size of beans splashing down. He turned around and sprinted off towards the corner of a mountain. So, it’s a white idiot.” Richard thought the sight of the long sparkling snot dangling from his large nose was just hilarious. “Richard!” Helen looked at him with a slight reproach, “Didn’t you notice that he looks a lot like our Beamon tribe’s Orephin warrior?” “The nose looks the same, but the elephant soldiers are all three blade heights tall, where would you get one this short? And elephant soldiers don’t have these spiral tusks.” Richard said. “After the battle of Heigar, many of our Beamon tribe’s soldiers were lost. It’s normal not to recognize some.” Helen nodded. Richard went to the hot spring where the Beamon was cooking the meat skewers. Not far from the hot spring, there was an ice spring on the ground where there were three or four small clamshells, the clam meat had been dug out and curled up. The tender yellow clam meat was strung on the vine and was boiling in the bubbling water of the spring. “It seems we disturbed his dinner.” Richard felt a bit embarrassed. Mount Tamerlarya was basically covered in large wild animals, strong snow bears, wild yaks, obviously, not something this sobbing and weeping Beamon would dare to provoke. “Then let’s wait for him here for a while. I believe, our halfling chef’s dried meat will certainly suit his taste.” Helen sweetly said, snuggling into Richard’s arm. Having been wi-fi..-ed by her sweetheart Richard these days, she was in high spirits and wished everyone could share her happiness and sweetness. Before they even had a chance to agree with her, a dozen Beamon rushed out from a corner of the mountain slope ferociously. Richard and Helen were stunned. These Beamon looked identical to the dumb Beamon from earlier, but their sizes were several times larger, some even beyond three blade heights, were even more robust than the elephant warriors. Their tusks were curled and their bodies were covered in various animal skins, some of which were even the whole skin of a snow bear, with the complete bear head still hanging by their side, swaying with their long hair. Their thick legs, like stone pillars, were stomping on the icy ground, making a “crackling” noise. “Did you frighten my son?” A tall and robust Beamon, wearing a rarely seen Tamerlarya ice tiger skin, stood out from the group. He pointed his bone knife at Richard and the little fox and asked sternly. His bone knife reminded Richard of the machete he had ground from a whale bone on the island. Peeking out from behind his thick thighs was a familiar face, the one Richard had thought was a fool earlier. “Your son…” Richard awkwardly pointed at the “Beamon kid” who was picking his nose, not sure what to say. This is too outrageous, Richard thought to himself. “Vincent is the treasured son of my Mammoth Clan’s bravest warrior, Korina. What’s the matter?” The Beamon’s huge figure stood in front of Richard, completely blocking Richard’s view. His mighty stature made Richard feel quite inferior. Richard estimated that even an Orephin warrior would feel ashamed standing in front of him. “Mammoth Clan?” Helen at the side was stunned.
