Brandon Lemiere
I walked into the Retro Bar and my eyes roamed around to find Priscilla. Seriously this girl has a lot of issues. My eyes landed on her who's currently sipping a big bottle of alcohol. I stopped her and she turned to me.
"What are you doing here?" She asked simply.
"Let's go." I said and held her hand.
"No.. I want to be here. I want to drink. You can go home first.. or go back to Lisa's place." She said sarcastically.
"We need to talk."
"I told you that let's not meet again. You don't need to pay for this or have me at work again. Oh and this.." She pulled out the ring and gave it back to me.
"I was going to sell it.. if I'm out of my mind." She added and I sighed. I put the ring to my pocket and picked her up in bridal style. I brought her out and put her inside my car. She's a little bit drunk.
"Brandon." She called me when I started my car.
"What?" I asked and I took out my phone from my pocket. I transfered her 100.000$. I showed the screen to her and she laughed dryly.
"I'll transfer it back the first thing in the morning."
"You already did your job and I'm giving you the money."
"I don't want to do anything with you so I will give the money back tomorrow so we don't have any string attached between us."
"Use that money and just get away from my face." I hissed coldly.
"I said I don't want anything to do with you." She said coldly and turned to me. I turned to her.
"I said USE THAT MONEY SO YOU DON'T SELL YOUR BODY LIKE A SLUT. USE IT AND GET AWAY FROM MY FACE." I bursted angrily and her eyes widened.
"I don't need a pity from you, Brandon Lemiere. Either if I sleep with a ton of men for money, it's not your business. I will give your money back tomorrow and let's not see each other again." She said coldly towards me. She took the seat belt off but before she even try to open the door. I locked it and put it on lock from the inside mode.
"Why didn't you tell me? I can't help you." I said in a calmer tone.
"Like what? Come to you out of nowhere and borrow a lot of money from you and tell my stories? Do you know how my life and my previous job ruined me?"
"But selling your bodies.."
"I don't have a choice, Brandon. I don't have a choice!" She bursted.
"Now go back to medical school and never ever do your previous job again." I said and she turned to me.
"I don't need your pity."
"I don't pity you.. I'm lending you money and I want you to pay me back one day."
"I won't pay you back, I will run away. We were friends but you know I'm not a good girl." She said and I know her well.. She's a good girl and I know she won't run away with my money. I took out her phone from my inner pocket and showed it to her. She was going to take it but I broke her phone into pieces.
"I will give you a new phone and new phone number tomorrow. Go back to medical school and use that money to study. Pay me back one day." I said to her and she shook her head.
"Thankyou for your concern but I don't want that money. So please open the door so I can go home." She said and I drove my car out of the place.
"Why?" I asked.
"My mom's cancer was getting worse and we don't have enough money for me to go to school. My mom doesn't want to take my dad's money because she thinks that with that money.. she can send me back to school and even college so I don't have a choice but to work to save my mom's life. I worked my ass off but it wasn't enough. A friend of mine asked me to work in a bar as a waiter and I did it. I have a great payment but I felt disgusted because people touched me everywhere."
"But I don't have a choice. My aunt and uncle already helped enough so I can't ask them to give me money again and again for my mom. One day, I asked my manager to raise my salary because I worked 2 times harder than others but he didn't. He told me if I want to get a payment, it means I have to sleep with people to get money. At first, I didn't want it but.. I don't have any choice." That made me grip my steering wheel so tight.
"You can borrow from a friend.. from the bank.. not selling your body, Priscilla!" I bursted angrily.
"It was my choice, I need money fast because I can't bear losing my mom. I already lost my dad and I don't want to lose them both so I will do anything to keep my mom alive but.. she died."
"I stopped working there when my mom died. I felt disgusted with myself that's why I don't date anyone again. I once dated someone but after he found out about my background.. he left me. I know from that on.. I can't get married or fall in love with anyone. I shut everyone off.. literally every guy who tried to hit on me." She said and I stopped my car to the side. I heard a hint of her crying and I want to comfort her.
After I stopped my car, I pulled her into a hug. I hugged her tightly and she cried. I patted her back and she kept crying and crying.
She had a hard life.. hard times.. she was alone.. she was hurted..
I wish.. I can turn back time and help her.. Seeing her like this broke my heart..
"There there.. cry and let everything out." I said and she kept crying and crying. God.. I never know there are a lot of people who are struggling to live their life.
