8,5 years later..
I carried a cake with me and slowly walked up to my room with Rose. Today is Rose's birthday so we prepared a surprise for her by baking her a cake by destroying the kitchen.
"Daniel!" Morris my first son gestured his little brother to be quite because he slipped.
"Don't shout!" I put one hand on his mouth shutting him down. We all tip toed to my room and opened the door slowly. Rose was still sleeping soundly, she's tired working yesterday and as she got home she pass out.
I counted to three slowly.
"Happy birthday mommy!" The boys shouted and Rose opened her eyes. I know she's shocked but she smiled as she realized that we surprised her.
"Happy birthday wife!" I said and she looked at me smiling.
"Mommy happy birthday, I love you!" Morris hugged her and kissed her cheek. Yes Morris is my 7 years old son and he's really affectionist. I think he got that from Rose.
"Aren't you going to give me a hug, Daniel?" Rose asked my 6 years old son. He's the quite one and he doesn't express his feelings that well just like me. He walked to Rose and hugged her.
"My turn." I said and put the cake on the table beside the bed first. I hugged my wife and gave her a peck on her lips.
"Happy birthday wife, I love you." I said.
"Thankyou handsome, I love you too.” She gave me a kissed on my cheek. Morris took the cake and I lighted up the candles.
"Make a wish mom!" Morris said and put the cake in front of Rose, Rose closed her eyes and then blew the candles.
"Yey!" Daniel clapped and I chuckled.
"Thankyou my boys!" He kissed Morris and Daniel's forehead and she turned to me.
"Thankyou again baby!" She hugged me tightly and I kissed her forehead.
"Mom we made the cake by ourselves.”
"Mommy knows.. it's really beautiful." It's not beautiful, it's a mess. We three totally crashed the kitchen and wait until Rose sees the kitchen.
"Let's eat it mom, I'm hungry and dad doesn’t give us breakfast." Daniel glared at me and I looked at him disbelief.
"Daniel we ate cereal together.” I said.
"It’s not a food dad." Morris helped his brother.
"I'll cook a your favorites boys." Rose announced and the boys smiled at her.
We all walked out from my room and suddenly Morris turned to me. I raised my eyebrows trying to guess what his eyes mean.
"Dad.." Daniel turned to me too.
"What?" I mouthed.
"The kitchen." Morris mouthed and our eyes widen. Suddenly Daniel clinged to Rose's leg like a monkey. Morris clinged to another leg.
"What are you guys doing?" Rose asked and looked at the kids with questioning eyes.
"Mom can we just eat the cake here?" Morris asked.
"Honey, there's no a knife here and beside we have to cut it evenly so you gu-"
"We'll just eat it with our hands!" Daniel said and boy I wanted to laugh out loud but thinking about the kitchen’s situation made me shout my mouth.
"I agree.. we'll just eat with our hands." I said and Rose turned to me disbelief.
"What? No no.. I want to cut it.”
"Mom I think my allergies come again." Daniel reasoned.
"What? Hold this Max!" Rose gave me the cake and started to take Daniel to his room. I looked at Morris and we quickly went downstairs.
"Mom it's starting to get itchy." Daniel shouted to signal us.
"You don't have any allergies now!" She answered and my eyes widen. Morris quickly took the dirt and everything, I helped and do everything quick to tidy up the kitchen.
"What the hell is this?" My eyes widen as so was Morris, we both turned to Rose. Daniel face palmed.
"Happybirthday?" Morris said.
"This is a total mess!" She stated as she scanned the kitchen.
"We'll clean it!" I said.
"Yes we'll clean it.”
"You boys are unbelievable!" She put her hands on her waist completely don't know what to do. We had a food fight earlier and took a quick bath on the guest room beside the kitchen.
"We're sorry." Morris said first.
"We baked the cake." I stated and smiled cheekly to her.
"Take care of this pronto!" She stated and went upstairs. Daniel walked to us to help.
"This is all your fault!" Morris pointed at Daniel.
"Heyheyhey no fighting on mom's birthday." I warned the both and they only glared at each other. We were cleaning up the floor when we all heard the door close. I walked to the living room and saw Rose taking the car out.
I quickly go out to asked her where is she going? But she already drove away.
"Now mom is mad at us!" Daniel stated and I sighed.
"We have to clean up fast!" We cleaned up the mess and the maid help us. It took around 45 minutes and damn I'm hungry. The door suddenly opened and I looked up to see Rose brought a big box.
"Pizzaa!!" Morris literally screamed as he saw his mom brought home our favorite pizza.
"You guys already clean it up?" She asked to me and I nodded.
"Already done babe.. sorry." I said and she smiled.
"I love you." She mouthed.
"Love you tooz" I mouthed back, she put the big box of pizza on the table. We opened it together and can’t help but gasped.
"Thankyou boys for surprising me.. and turned my kitchen into a disaster.." She chuckled and looked at us one by one.
"Okay mom.” Daniel answered but his eyes landed on the pizza.
"You can dig in." She said and when my hand was going to take one.. Rose slapped it and I looked at her shock. She pulled me to the living room.
"What-" She cut me by giving a passionate kiss. Her arms circled my neck, I hugged her tightly and kissed her back.
"I love you so much." She said.
"Happy birthday love.. once againhappy birthday. I love you." I looked at her blue eyes and she smiled widely.
"Thankyou bad boy.”
"Damn let's continue this!" I kissed her again.
