BLOOD MUTANT SYSTEM. Chapter 58

While his bounty hunters were out looking for the boy with their system and the girl who partially blinded him, Grim was left on the ship doing nothing but training seriously in the training room, one of the hundreds of different rooms in his main spaceship. The black scaled Granian’s body was bulging and contracting as he tore through a replica of himself. The look-alike, however, did not have eyes like Grim and its body was more on the metallic side than it was on the fleshy side. It too had a thick tail, powerful legs, strong, building arms and a tough metal alloy that could not easily be broken through. [Training Sequence 25 commenced.] [I strongly recommend you take a break, Master.] "Be quiet." He spoke back to his ship’s automated system that was far inferior to Ace’s, but still slightly more powerful. Unlike Ace’s system that was limited to Ace, Grim’s system could access the ship’s weaponry, land vehicles, air vehicles, and all the electrical appliances that it was linked into. The mechanized Grim bot, which was called Grom, charged towards its creator at full speed. Its powerful legs made louds bangs as it run and jumped a few feet in the air. With its left knee ready to slam into Grim’s face, it hoped to hit him down to the grown, but the Granian wasn’t backing down yet. With his powerful claws, he grabbed Grom’s leg, flipped him over his back and slammed him onto the floor. In order for him to win, he needed to press a button that would automatically shut Grom down, however, the location of the body would constantly change every three seconds so he needed to react very fast. Grim’s tail slammed into Grim’s jawline, sending him rolling onto the floor with his face pounding in pain. Grom quickly jumped to his feet and slammed its right leg on Grim’s hand, pinning him on the ground and crushing his hand at the same time. He then used his left hand to perform a chock hold on Grim while his left foot pinned Grim’s tail down. [5...4...3...2...1...] [Shall I lower Grom’s power level?] The ship’s system asked as Grom returned to his post and shut himself off. Grim, on the other hand, was furious with himself and suffered a badly damaged hand and sore tail with a jaw that was most likely dislocated. "Shut down." Grim ordered as he left to the healing room. Once there, he was greeted by other Granians who quickly attended to his injuries. For his dislocated jaw, a mechanical hand gently placed it back in place; a small lazer surgery was done to fix his hand and a gentle massage was performed on his sore tail. "Master Grim," One of the Granians asked, "Have Murdock and Huntress succeeded with finding the boy?" Grim grunted angrily, and for a second, the Granian bit his tongue as he waited for a scolding of a life time. "They haven’t had much success so far." He calmly replied. "The planet’s large and since they don’t know about its physique, they’re struggling to find them. It’s not that easy." "I have a suggestion." Another Granian with a slightly taller but slimmer build spoke. "Instead of sending two to look for them, why don’t we flush them out?" "Explain." Grim said. "See, we’re struggling because these humans could take them in and hide them from us, taking us a much longer time to find them. Why don’t we go to their last known location and raid it if there are any human settlements or populations?" "And how do you suggest we do this?" Grim who was now invested in this, paid his full attention to the Granians speaking. "How do you suggest we raid them?" The Granian stared at Grim with a straight face as he said, "Massacre. Whatever city we raid, let’s make an example of a few people and gruesomely kill them. This will strike fear into the other humans and cause them to turn on the boy and girl. We can also constantly send multiple pictures showing their faces and communicate that we’ll leave once we have them." "That’s..." Grim’s eyes lit up with hope. "That’s not a bad idea. There is a possibility that this could work. The guilt they’ll face and the hatred others will show towards them will either force them to turn themselves in or cause the humans to bring them to us." Grim looked at the Granian and said, "You’ve got potential....." "You’ve got potential, Graul," Grim continued. "I want you to coordinate this whole thing. I’ll let you play it out and all I’ll do is provide you with soldiers, weaponry and equipment. Now, when do we start?" "Two days. Sir. Give’s them a little time to get a head start. Makes the hunt more fun for us, don’t you think?" Graul grinned. [Few minutes later.] Get full chapters from novel•fire.net The sun shone so brightly in ArkVille with its rays warming everything up. The sky was starting to retain its blue color as white, cotton-like clouds glided across the sky. The now mutated birds made their weird calls, filling the sky with freaky but melodious songs as the gentle breeze blew across the half-abandoned city. "LET’S GO. MOVE IT, MOVE IT, MOVE IT.!!" Just at the edge of ArkVille, the Granian forces that had pitched camp a few days ago packed their things as they moved back into Grim’s ship. Some that went exploring hastily returned while a few more supervised the whole thing. "Do you know what’s going on?" They spoke amongst themselves. "Have they found the boy? Are we finally returning home?" "I asked myself those same questions too." "I heard that Grim said we’re moving somewhere else." "I heard he received orders from Grand Master." "Did they find the human boy and girl?" Soon, roomers spread across the ship. Some suspected that they were moving out, but others knew they’d be on the planet a little longer. "My brothers and sister. Warriors of our King Grania." Grim spoke as a video message played in almost every screen. "Our comrades Murdock and Huntress have yet to retrieve the human boy and girl. However, we have come up with a solution to that. Instead of us sending two to capture them, we’re going to execute a flush out system that will force them to come to us. We move out in a few hours. Prepare yourselves for we don’t know what else these humans have in store since some of them now possess supernatural powers. Understood?"
