’Kill all of the Granians. Why would a tribal leader want me to kill his own? No one can be that fed up with life. Even if they were, why involve their own kind?’
It was true that Ace’s main intention in gaining strength was to take out the Granians. Ever since these creatures invaded Earth, the Human was filled with an unbearable amount of hate for them. Every waking day afterward was just one malicious thought after the other. Killing them was the ultimate end game for him.
But all of a sudden that goal was starting to seem...almost not worth completing, not with the discovery of more Granians at least.
This confusion all began when Ace and the others found out that more Granians existed. All along, he thought that only the "Green Claws" made up the Granian race and therefore, they would be his initial targets. Rich or poor, great or small, young or old, none were spared from his anger but....
’Do the others deserve to die as well?’ the others weren’t the ones who traveled from Planet Grania, out of the Akrina Galaxy, made their way into the Milky Way to Earth just to kill and abduct Humans by the thousands just to end up with only four Human soldiers genetically altered to become bloodthirsty, lust driven entities only created to kill, right?
Surely they weren’t involved with the "Green Claws". If they were, they would have been present when the Humans landed on Planet Grania for the first time. If they were, they could have also been involved in their abduction, right?
’Why does he want me to include the entire race? My interest’s only on the Green Claws.’
At the moment, Ace was on a ship with hundreds of transport ships moving back to Planet Grania. The Blood Bishop locked himself in his chambers pacing back and forth with this disturbing question plaguing his peace.
Why? Why? Why did Gravax say those words to him? Why did he, of all Granians, make such a request of him? Why did he feel compelled to speak that way about the extinction of his race? None of this was adding up. It just didn’t make any ounce of sense. This confusion slowly ate its way through Ace, making him reconsider if he’d kill ALL the Granians or ONLY the "Green Claws".
’But if I do only kill the Green Claws, what will stop the others from coming after me? Will they go for Earth if I don’t eliminate all of them? But if I don’t eliminate any of them, they will go to Earth and subject other Humans to the same treatment I and the others have been put through.’

Even the Blood Mutant System, a piece of technology designed by the Granians themselves, wished them dead. It didn’t specify which tribe was to live or not but rather said ALL.
"System," Ace already knew that the system wouldn’t respond to his questions. Based on his previous engagements with it, he already expected either short, half-baked responses or no responses at all. Either way, it wouldn’t hurt to try, right? "Why do you insist on having me kill the Granians?"

For a surprising response, the system certainly was neutral on this matter. It took no personal vendetta against the Granians but only had the interests of its user’s welfare.

Though still slightly confused about the matter at hand, Ace remained stuck on his original plan of killing the Granians and bringing back the fearsome title Blood Mutants once possessed. These were the conditions he made with Vorathrax in exchange for the power of a Blood God and as of now, he had just started benefiting from them. There was no way he could afford to lose them, not just yet anyway.
’These Granians will be as good as dead once this War ends.’

Fleets of colony and transporter ships entered the planet’s atmosphere in great hoards, bringing with them numerous resources and minerals needed for the expansion of the Granian Army.
Work on the Planet still progressed, leaving almost little to no time for pleasure or rest. The work involved recruiting and training soldiers, building and upgrading War ships and vessels, and mining resources used in the manufacturing of pieces of weaponry, armory, and technology which was later going to be used once everything else was ready.
This work ethic wasn’t taking place in Planet Grania alone but rather in all Granian colonies. All Granians and slaves on said planets were engaged in hours of tireless labor, slaving away all for the expansion of their army’s numbers. Soon, news began to spread all over the Galaxy, bringing both wanted and unwanted attention to the Granians.
All of these advancements being made by the Granians weren’t taken lightly by the Ethisians. Even though they lacked the numbers, they possessed one thing that, if well executed, could put them in the lead over their enemies and that was allies.
Unlike the Granians, the Ethisians thrived on their allies, often making sure to have their interests best at heart. Of course, their allies knew they were only needed in times of war but it couldn’t hurt with the benefits they were receiving. As the Granians built their numbers within their own ranks, the Ethisians were now involving other races with different strengths, battle techniques, and weaponry to join their ranks.
In all of this, concerns were raised across the Inner Ring of the Galaxy, so much so that even the members of the Intergalactic Council were pulled in to discuss whether their involvement in this War could see an early end to it. if only there wasn’t an internal War among the Council Members to begin with.
