General Jack ran past the students waiting to be tested and made his way to the elevator which took him to the uppermost floor in the base. Upon reaching there, he encountered armed men with gas masks and their guns pointed at the only entrance and exit of the underground base.
He noticed how something from the outside banged so hard on the doors that the hinges got loose. "What’s going on, men?" He asked as he grabbed a gun to assist. The guns they used were replicas of the ones the Granians used so they were quite powerful and highly effective on getting their assigned functions done.
"Sir. It seems like we’re being under attack." One of the soldiers replied.
"Well no f*cking sh*t. Do you not think I see that?" Jack replied. "Do we know what exactly it is?"
"No, Sir." Another replied. "We suspect it to be the aliens."
"Impossible," Jack replied. "We came to an agreement with them. They couldn’t dare to break it.’
Three months prior to the evasion, the humans surrendered and sought to have peace talks with the invaders. Luckily, the aliens were more than glad to come to an agreement and soon, a peace treaty was agreed upon between the military and the Granians.
However, black pods would occasionally land into the Earth’s atmosphere, making them question the integrity of the Granians.
"It could be a high possibility, Sir." We just don’t know." The banging on the doors eventually stopped but then, gruesome noises were heard coming from outside, followed by a loud, ear piercing noise. "What is that noise?"
"It’s probably those aliens."
"They’re back for blood."
"Get a hold of yourselves, men." Jack said as he set his gun to kill mode. He and the armed soldiers slowly made their ways to the doors and leaned against them. "I think they’re gone, Sir. We’re safe for...."
A yellow-red tentacle-like thing pierced through the doors, wrapped themselves around the nearest armed man and pulled him out with the doors as well. The armed men tried saving their comrade but the tentacle overpowered them all and managed to tug all of them outside.
"Holy F*cking Sh*t!!"
Standing before them was a seven foot tall monster shaped like a man covered in golden skin with red patches around its head, mid-section, triceps and inner thighs. It’s eyes were large and shaped like crystals while its mouth was filled with razor sharp teeth. Its back had five tentacles sticking out and in each one of them had dead bodies of different looking creatures never seen before.
General Jack and the remaining armed men opened heavy fire on the monster and for a while, it seemed to work but then, human sized men with red skin and boils all over jumped out from the other facilities.
"WHAT THE HELL IS THAT?"
"SHOOT THEM. THEY’RE GETTING CLOSER TO US. SHOOT!!"
The large monster swung its tentacles and jabbed them into the red men. It then lifted them up toward its head, opened its wide mouth and vacuumed the little blood out of them. It then threw their dead bodies with the countless others it killed and looked at Jack with the other men.
*SCREEEEEEEEEECCCCCCHHHH*
It sent out more tentacles that went through five more of the armed men. It quickly dragged them to its mouth and swallowed them whole, causing its body to grow slightly.
"RETREAT!! DEPLOY THE TITANIUM DOORS!!" Jack said as he directed the remaining soldiers back into the underground base. As soon as the last one entered, Jack followed next but then, a tentacle wrapped itself around his leg and dragged him back to the monster. He quickly cut the tentacle off but another one wrapped his entire body, restraining any movements.
Before he knew it, Jack found himself starring death in its face. He shook with great fear as he said his last prayers. The monster’s tongue crawled to Jack’s face and licked him all over. It then looked at Jack with its head twisted and spoke saying, "Find the one responsible for doing this to me and I won’t take anymore lives. Take long and I’ll loose my patience."
The volume of its voice alone scarred Jack so much that his heart skipped beats. The monster threw him back into the base as the titanium doors closed shut.
"Sir, sir. Are you alright?" One soldier said as two more came with a first aid kit. Jack didn’t seem to hear what was said to him since his thoughts were on what the monster said to him.
Just as he thought it couldn’t get any worse, one of the wretched red men popped through the doors and grabbed Jack’s foot. It screamed bitterly as it clawed deep into his foot. "SHOOT IT, SHOOT IT, SHOOT IT." He cried as he tugged he tried to set his leg free.
One soldier hit the red man’s face with the back of his gun and shot its brains out. The creature’s upper body was cut in half by the titanium doors that finally closed shut. Its upper body lay in front of Jack with its head blasted in half while its hand remained on Jack’s leg.
Blood gushed out from his wound as intense pain slowly crawled its way to his upper thigh.
"Sir!! Let’s get you some medical aid as soon as possible. That’s a deadly wound you’ve got there."
"No. I want this red man studied. Get word back to me as soon as you learn what the hell it is." He replied while they placed him on a stretcher and took him to the E.R. The red man’s body was taken to the sixth floor but in was placed in a white bag so that none of the teenagers would get frightened.
The body was taken into a clear white room that was filled with tons of alien technology that was taken apart, studied, researched, and modified to suit humans. In this room sat a team of twelve men and women, each dressed in black cloaks.
"What the hell is that?"
