While still engaged in battle with the beasts, Ace decided to dwell on the blood point matter later and focused on the creatures he and his sister had to fight. A new strategy Ace wanted to learn was getting rid of his over-dependency on his blood mutant form. Even though it was impressive and powerful, Ace wanted to focus on using his blood skills on his human body instead. That way, he would not need to act like the savage brute the Granians expected him to be.

The young man’s body reverted to normal while keeping a good-sized puddle of blood over his head. With his hand stretched out, Ace coated his arms and legs with blood and hardened them while running for a beast which charged at him.
Ace’s fist, now hardened, collided with the beast’s skull structure and fractured the front bone plates on its head. His blow caused internal injuries, leaving the beast unable to stand on its legs. As for Ace, he remembered something that his system told him concerning his blood mutant abilities.

Inflicting a few bruises on himself, Ace drew out a large amount of blood from his blood bank and channeled it into three blood sickles. The blood slowly took the desired shape he wanted, and with only a thought, Ace sent the sickles to three different locations of the beast - one on its back, one on its legs, and the other on its back.

"Let’s call this a Blood Sickle Blades," he smirked while hardening the blood even further.

"It works," Ace said to himself as the beast stumbled onto the ground due to the simultaneous attacks coming from Ace’s new skill. "I wonder how many more tricks I can come up with. LET’S FIND OUT MORE, SHALL WE BEAST?"
Even the creature, though being attacked, looked at Ace like the deranged maniac he was and snuffed at him. Suddenly, the blood sickle blades stopped and returned back to Ace’s hands, slowly becoming actual sickles. The excess blood pool he had floating around him spiraled around his body, giving him a reddish aura.
"He certainly is improving his blood controlling skills," Chris said to Lily, their focus on Ace. "Do you think he is planning on relying less on his blood mutant form?"
"It is a good strategy," Lily answered. "He no longer requires as much blood as he used to. Although, it does make him more vulnerable. Let us see, watch, and learn what this orange-haired man can do."

Using the remaining blood he collected earlier, Ace forced it to spin uncontrollably, causing it to generate a lot of speed to potentially cut through matter. With the tips hardened, Ace ran forward to yet another beast and joined his hands together, causing the spiraling blood to turn into one large drill.
The drill and the beast rammed into each other, turning this into a test of who would stand the longest. Unfortunately for the beast, Ace’s new skill was too strong, too sharp, and too powerful for it to withstand. Before it knew it, the drill had already cut through the beast’s forehead and ripped the rest of its body in half.

’The more I push my body further than I’ve ever done, the faster the chances of me increasing my stats,’ Ace concluded after seeing that his strength and stamina had increased. ’I can still push further.’
With a new trick in mind, Ace canceled out the spiraling blood skill and focused the last of the blood onto his entire body. Mimicking something similar to Cherry’s blood clone, Ace successfully managed to make his own clone before quickly rushing into to finish off the remaining beasts.

With the simulation complete, Ace and Cherry were finally able to rest, having killed all the creatures thrown their way. Before they rested, Ace had retrieved Skyler’s unconscious body, which was currently in its human form. The environment in the simulation chamber started to disappear slowly, the only things remaining were the three humans and corpses of the creatures they killed.
"Glad that’s over with," Cherry sighed as she laid flat on the ground. "My body feels much stronger than before, but I still can’t seem to control this form."
"Wait, you can’t control it?" Ace asked his sister, clearly concerned by what she had just said. "I thought you could transform at your own will?"
"I can do that with ease, but there are times where this form takes over and does whatever it wants from time to time. It’s the thing that makes me more violent than I actually am," she answered as she stared at her brother. "You have your system guiding you. What’s it designed like? Does it look like the system panels we had back at home?"
"Sort of," Ace answered, ’It’s slightly more complicated than that." Ace remained quiet with his vision fixated on Cherry. "I’m really worried about you, Cherry. If you cannot control your blood mutant form, you might become addicted to blood. Who knows what that thing will make you do to yourself or those around you."
"Relax, Ace," Cherry rolled her eyes and turned her back on Ace, "You don’t have to keep worrying about me becoming an addict. I’ll figure it out... eventually."
"Then I guess I’ll have to ask these aliens to give me a system of my own," she smirked while quickly turning around and flicking Ace’s forehead. "I’ll be fine..."
"Congratulations, you two." Chris and Lily approached with the blood mutant blockers in their hands.
"You certainly have improved greatly. Ace, I’m really glad you’re using your head for once," Lily mocked with a devilish smile on her scaly face. "Your clever incorporation of imagination and blood produces effective killer moves."
"Just hurry up and knock us out already," Ace grumbled with his eyes closed, waiting for the Granians to take him out. "Well... what’s taking so long?"
"Have you forgotten already?" Chris asked. "After every training session, a new symbiote will be infused with your blood genes. As we speak, your golden friend has already had their infusion for the day, so we better hurry and get you there."
Eight Granians, each equipped with weapons, surrounded Ace and Cherry while two carried Sky away. Chris and Lily led
them away from the simulation facility and into a long corridor. While moving to the operation room, the two siblings noticed the different chambers dedicated to different functions, inventions, and experiments held by the Granians.
One particular room stood out to Ace and Cherry, for it was filled with millions of cylindrical tubes, each containing the red zombies from Earth.
"So, those you sent were original, are they?" Ace asked sarcastically.
"Don’t worry about them," Chris smiled. "You’ll get your fun with them pretty soon. First, we need to focus on making you and your sister fit for survival on our planet."
"Speaking of which," Cherry took the opportunity to ask a couple of questions, "Who are the Ethisians? Back on Earth, I overheard your kind talk about them... right before I killed them, of course. So who are they? Are they to you Granians what you are to us?"
"You do not have the privilege of knowing that at this stage," Lily cut Cherry off rudely. "You’ll get to see them when the time is right. Focus on increasing your strength now, leave those for later."
"If you cannot tell me the reason as to why you’re subjecting me to such training, then I guess I’ll have no choice but to rebel," Cherry answered, thinking that she’d get a response from Lily. After waiting for a while, Cherry decided to drop the question, for she didn’t get the answer she was looking for.
"She’s right, isn’t she?" Ace picked up from where Cherry stopped. "The Ethisians are to you what you aliens are to us. It clearly explains why you’re training us this much. You’re going to use us to fight your battles, am I right?"
"All you have to know is...."
"We’re your walking weapons for a war you cannot handle," Ace interrupted. "I just hope you’ll be able to stop us once we’re done with the Ethisians."
