“But thankfully, there’s no danger to his life. The doctor said he should be able to leave the hospital and recover at home in about half a month.”

Following that, I accompanied Wang Xinru to buy some daily necessities and consoled her some more before heading back to the hospital room.
Since Liu Chao needed care, the mature and composed Aunt Wu stayed, and Wang Xinru wouldn’t return until late at night, so I took a cab back home first.
