It felt like a dream to arrive in my home town. It was just a 6 hours flight to London. my Heart was already racing a. Soin as I smelled that familIar air. All memories flooded my mind that I found myself gripping my suitcase tightly
"We are here!" it was Alexis who exclaimed cheerfully as she twirled around as some child let out of the house for the first time. She was acting like a child screaming in public
"Calm down already…"I said through gritted teeth while I checked our luggage. The security man was waiting to load up everything and take them outside to the taxi and Alexis was still causing a scene. Our flight was just seven hours and some minutes and I was way too exhausted and just wanted to rest
"Come on this is lovely...and it's just 7 PM...which means we still have time to explore this place," she said as she stuffed more bags, she didn't stop talking about being free to do what she wanted around. We came to work not have fun
"I don't think so but you can do as you want. ''I said, feeling irritated with her. Of course, for a 22-year-old girl, she was a child. I didn't blame her one bit but she sighed, fixed my hair, and held my purse close and we walked out of the busy airport. The last time I left here I was with a heavy heart and immediately we walked out the glass doors. The city of London greeted me. Time seemed to have stopped for me as I stood there looking around. The sun was setting even so it was crispy and fresh, the city was breathtakingly beautiful. The serene skies filled with soft puffs of clouds that cloak the glory of the majestic sun, the gorgeous tree slumping and I knew I was home. The air blew around caressing my face. Old memories resurfaced making me feel strange
"So shall we move?" she said and I rolled my eyes and walked to the taxi.
"So now we have to settle down…"I remarked, dragging her to the taxi. The driver was already waiting for us and once we settled in the car started moving
"Yeah...I'm starving...so I thought we would stay in the same apartment but it seems you have your own and I had mine" she said as she took out her phone but my concentration was outside. I rolled down the car windows admiring the city as the car moved. I didn't mind whether we stayed together or not. She was eager to be here and I was eager to finish up with everything and leave. I didn't want to stay here a minute longer
"Hey...it's okay I know you feel weird being here but...it's going to be fine…"I heard Alexis say and she rested her hand on mine. I averted my eyes from the window and turned to look at her and she had a worried expression on
"Don't be ridiculous...this is nothing...I'm just worried about work...I'm nervous about tomorrow that's all" I said with a faint smile. Maybe I wasn't so worried about meeting Victor. Hiding from him wasn't the case here I mean who would hide from a man like him but I was going to try and avoid him at all cost
"Okay fine...now let's make plans…" she said and showed me her phone. The places around which I knew and I was surprised to know where we were staying.

It wasn't every time the Ellison mansion got quiet, when it did then something must be wrong somewhere. Everyone knew the person who brought life to the house never rested until she turned the entire place upside down and now
"Where is she!" several voices kept yelling while running around all over the place
"Check the kitchen"Monica shouted for Julia who was coming from the stairs and she immediately rushed to the kitchen breathing heavily as if she was from running a marathon
"She's not in the garden or anywhere outside!"Kyan rushed back in and nearly fell from exhaustion, he bent down resting his hands on his knees as he inhaled and exhaled heavily catching his breath and Monica came from the study room
"Then where is she huh…" she asked sounding irritated she didn't know what was happening but for the past one hour they have been looking for Skylar everywhere but they couldn't find her
"She must be somewhere…"Kyan said regaining his strength back dn he walked into the middle of the hall room
"Skylar come out here now!" he shouted as loud as he could hoping he could hear giggles or anything. His niece suggested playing hide and seek but when she went into hiding no one has been able to find her
"Sky! Where are you sweetie...come out now!"Monica tried shouting for her but there was nothing. Julia came back so did the three security guards she had sent to search the entire mansion
"Madam she isn't upstairs or outside," one of the men said with a bow and Monica let out a curse as she ran her hands in her hair. What was happening? Her niece was here
"She must be here hiding if not then where could she be?"Kyan said, making a thinking face and Monica looked at him with narrowed suspicious eyes. They knew how she was, Skylar never missed a chance to cause mischief and now they we're doomed because Victor just left a while ago and went to see one of his friends
"Find her...she's just three years old...we have to find her"Monica said shaking her head. She was so tired of running around but she didn't want anything to happen to her niece hence she ordered everyone to start looking again
"Search every corner guys she's a sneaky one!"Kyan shouted and rushed upstairs to check all of Skylar's favorite places to hide
But what they didn't know was that the girl they were looking for was actually in a certain car hiding away giggling as she lowered her head afraid that if she made any noises her Papa seating in the backseat busy on his phone would hear her
"Papa is such a fool" she muttered with small giggles biting her lower lip mischievously as she cradle the little doll in her hands as the car moved at high speed and when it came to a halt
"Sir...welcome" the car door was opened for Victor whose attention was fixed on his phone. His driver stood there as he waited for his boss to respond and when Victor finally looked up. He didn't say anything but grabbed the black file he kept to the side and got out of the car
"This way"this time it was Jason who said as he guided Victor towards the entrance of the building. Victor didn't move back, looked at the skyscraper before him then around the place and it was quiet. The sky was getting dark hence he adjusted his coat since he was wearing a charcoal gray suit and proceeded to the entrance. The driver didn't move the car but just locked it and left to run a few errands as he waited for his boss to be done with his meeting
"Go," a small melodious voice said and quietly left and got out of the back of the car. She struggled to get her little feet down since it was high and Immediately her feet touched the pavement. She giggled and carefully went all the way down until
"I should follow Papa" she muttered while peeking around and seeing tall people walking around. Quickly she moved her little feet and rushed towards the entrance, she was running fast that the little shoes she was wearing did not compliment the floor and with one slight mistake she slipped and was about to fall when
"Ouch!" A little cry left her mouth but someone was holding her. Slowly she lifted her little head feeling nervous hoping it wasn't her Papa and when her little sharp blue eyes met with the person holding her from falling. She beamed mischievously
"Umm you okay…" the lady with red hair asked
"Vivienne what are you doing..let's go" soon came another one and the girl was lost as she blinked a few times
"Hey sweetie...are you okay?" the lady went down on her knees and asked caressing her face and she didn't move nor say anything
"What's wrong, is she lost or something?"
